  1. Vanilla - Before save/, after save/load: gif provided for easy comparison. Notice the price, and the size of the darkened section of the charge bar: Using this mod - Before save/, after save/load: Before and afters are exactly the same, but I ASSURE you that they are before and after shots! Conclusion: The bug exists, and this mod fixes it. (Now I just need to find out which mod makes that godawful noise when I draw an enchanted weapon, it's horrific!)
  2. Since ASG is no longer supported by STEP, and bluedanieru is very receptive and active, I would suggest asking him, or maybe looking through the comments. Also see this recent thread.
  3. If MO thinks your install order is wrong, it will show a red hazard sign in the top right corner. Click that and it will explain the Beta process of reordering automatically, and list the order it thinks your mods should be. After installing STEP Extended it only wants to move about 7 of my mods, so no, it won't automatically order your whole list unless you've made a complete mess of it, such as having the HRDLC before DB DG HF etc. As gpthree said, just follow the order of the guide. If you have issues, it will be the first thing you'll be told to try.
  4. Ok, that's fine. Just be careful when you get to the patches. Also you may miss some very useful information if you skip parts of the guide, and the whole thing is made to work together. For example, 1 mod might tell you to choose option x and not y, as y is covered by another mod which you may not be installing. It should generally work out fine, but it may make it harder to troubleshoot if you have any issues.
  5. Haha maybe I didn't learned FOMOD then. No, I think I did At least, installing using my update DID seem to work. Mine was going into data/textures/textures/terrain with the previously uploaded file. I do hope you can win the fight against Nexus!
  6. From bluedanieru: Would be interesting to see how big a save file gets if you harvest all the plants then never go back. From my first read of the thread, I thought the plants respawn regardless of whether you revisit the cell or not, but I find it hard to believe people have harvested 10's of thousands of plants without ever going back past them to allow the respawn. Anyway, the best part about this mod is, if we find any major (or probably even minor) issues, bluedanieru seems to be very heavily invested in keeping it updated and implementing fixes.
  7. I'm not sure I understand the question. LOOT sorts installed plugins. If you mean sorting the mod load order in the left pane, yes, MO can do that, but it won't sort them in the same order they should be in for STEP. They need to be ordered manually to ensure you get the effect desired by installing STEP. Are you doing a STEP install?
  8. Yeah, I read a comment from the author that it adds around 5kb per harvested plant, which should get removed again when the plant respawns. Would the extra file size make much difference, other than slightly longer load/save times? I remember another mod that is either accepted for 2.2.9.1, or close to being accepted will also require a brand new game, so this one should be able to slot right in at the same time.
  9. You'll just need to go through the list again. I started modding just over a month ago. I might have actually played 6 hours since then, with about 100 hours of testing, patching, learning and finding new mods etc. Read through all the instructions again. You'll remember doing most of the things, you won't be sure on a few, but some you can just check (the filetree etc) and the others you can just reinstall correctly as stated above. Make sure they're in their correct places and away you go!
  10. Yes. FNIS Output would be last if you followed all the instructions, SKSE should be first. 2 options, right click the mod in the left pane and click "Reinstall Mod". If you merged any mods, this will only allow you to reinstall the first part of the mod. Best option, go through your "Downloads" tab in the right pane, and double click the mods to reinstall from there. That way you will get the option to replace/merge when necessary. Be sure to follow the guide carefully, as some mods will most likely not be in the downloads tab, such as those that needed to be added from Archives. If you find anything in the wrong place, you can just drag it around in the left pane.
  11. Not sure if this is what you meant to fix in the ninja update Tech, but it still occurred for me. After following Kelmych's workaround, EDT 2 DB is completely overwritten by RF. So that appears to be the only issue with that part. Redownloading now to triple check. EDIT: Haha! I learned a little FOMOD! I think... <folder source="05 Enhanced Distant Terrain\STEP" destination="textures" priority="1"/> <folder source="05 Enhanced Distant Terrain\Dragonborn" destination="textures" priority="1"/> <folder source="09 Moss Rocks" destination="" priority="1"/> <folder source="11 Suped-Up Stalhrim" destination="" priority="1"/> <folder source="13 Terrain Bump" destination="" priority="1"/> Obviously the yellow "textures" shouldn't be there. I've attached the updated ModuleConfig in an archive, though I'm sure you'll want to do it yourself. ModuleConfig.7z I have tested, and it seems to work as intended now, as far as I can tell.
  12. I think you may have misunderstood his 2nd request. I'm pretty sure he wants to be able to mouse over a mod in the left pane (or maybe a plugin as well) and find out which particular download it came from, ie the original file in the download tab. I don't think it's really necessary though. The end result could easily be achieved by either right clicking the mod and clicking reinstall, which will open the download and allow you to choose new options or whatever else you might need to do, or you could click "Visit on Nexus" to get back to the page where you originally downloaded it from. If you named your mods correctly it shouldn't be an issue to check whether you installed in the right order though. Just cross check your mod list in the left pane against the guide. Also MO tells you whether a mod needs to be updated, to a point. Right click at the top of your mod list where it says "Mod Name" and make sure "Version" is checked. The version will show in that column, and there will be an icon for any issues, such as an available update. Depending how the Author versioned their mods, it may throw unnecessary errors, but those are usually unsupported mods, so you can just click "Ignore update". You may need to "Refresh" or "Check all for update" from the "All Mods" area in the right click menu before it correctly shows potential updates. If you click "Check all for updates" it will even filter you modlist to only show mods that have an available update. The filter menu is in the bottom left of the mod list, and will tell you how to unfilter if you need to.
  13. This mod is suggested by Arthmoor as a Bug Fix Recommended in Addition to the Unofficial Patches. It seems to be compatible with STEP, fixes a bug with Vanilla, AND is recommended by USKP. I can't find any recent mention of instability in the mod comments, and no real mention of it in this thread. Any chance of a second chance, source, or quote?
  14. I think the EDT 2 DB issue is only occurring with the STEP option, but I might be wrong. I did notice it was going into a Dragonborn folder instead of DLC02, but wasn't sure if it was just me, and by the time I had redownloaded and reinstalled, I'd forgotten and was looking for the Terrain Bump differences I edited in my last post. I also seem to have mentioned fieldgrass01_n twice in 2 posts. Must be bedtime. I'll update the RF instructions first though.
  15. Thanks. I did notice that when I was initially testing the RF installer, but had forgotten. @Tech: Did you forget to update the installer to automatically hide the file "textures\landscape\fieldgrass01_n.dds"? Or SparrowPrince's version of that file better now than it was previously? Also do we need to check things over due to the files that were removed from Terrain Bump? There seem to be a few files missing such as road/cliff/icicle/glacier etc.
  16. This was done by SRB on Feb 15 while he was removing a LOOT rule which had been added to the masterlist. Will need clarification as to whether this was removed by accident or not, as there is no mention of it in this thread, or anywhere else I've seen. It may have been done as a result of the posts you quoted. Thanks for bringing this up!
  17. EDIT: Removed first part of the post as I was confused. Dammit! That's the 4th time today I've tried opening an image and been blocked by our filter. Hopefully nobody notices, or I'll probably get shot for hanging out here when I should be working hahaha.
  18. I'm sure you removed the "textures\landscape\fieldgrass01_n.dds", and I know you added EDT2 DB, but did you add Moss Rocks DB? [spoiler=Derpy moment]Also will A Quality World Map be moved down the list to be after Ruffled Feather as per SparrowPrince's recommendation? Found the answer to that question elsewhere. I take it QWM will be moved down the order as well. Just reinstalled RF with the new STEP installer and actually read the instructions. That's what I get for participating while I should be working. Also I should have had more faith in Tech! I asked this earlier, but it was in the middle of a long post: Is there any reason some mods are higher up the install order in STEP, other than conflicts which are shown in the MO information window? Or is it most likely due to previous conflicts with mods that have since been updated, moved or dropped? Updated OP and wiki page, feel free to check for errors. I feel like there is another mod that has a STEP option in the installer, and I think it might be listed on the wiki page to select this option, but either I'm mistaken, or it's in the detailed instructions page and I can't find it. For now I'll just leave the wiki with no instructions.
  19. My bad, I posted that before I saw your reply, then edited my post. The reason we thought you hadn't installed all the mods is because you stated that you had installed Extended, but then the load order you posted was not all of Extended. I'm glad you got it sorted though!
  20. EDIT: Ninja'd That's what I get for trying to STEP while I work You have a LOT of mods missing. You should have more like 200+ mods, and around 100 plugins. As Uncle Seano said, you need to install ALL the mods from the list, except the ones that say "Not needed if using the Extended Patch" or something similar. Did you have any problems or confusion during the installation process? Did you add all the SKSE.ini files that are recommended during the install?
  21. Maybe it's been added to the masterlist? SRB has been trying to get most of those rules added as they are general rules, not just for STEP. It seems to be a painful process. You could check the masterlist or user rules yaml files using notepad++, but I'm pretty sure you can just move on and not worry since the rule IS there as intended.
  22. That doesn't sound like the issue you're having?Sorry, I thought you might have been having the same problem that has been reported hundreds of times previously, including by me. Maybe try having another look in the troubleshooting section I linked, it sure does sound familiar, that's all.
  23. I'm not sure how that works either, but I'm thinking javascript, which I know very little about lol. Also I think it will remember the last setting, so if you open/close one ToC, then refresh all tabs, or open a new tab, they will be the same. It's amazing what you can work out at 6am on a Sunday when you can't sleep.
