  1. What resolution are you playing at to get vram that high considering you changed to a lot of 1k textures?
  2. Had the same issue, it simply didn't work at all for me
  3. Just went over the guide once more to compare my installation to SR, and noticed that the Dawnguard patch for Lanterns of Skyrim is recommended. It is not needed with version 2.3 of Lanterns of Skyrim (which is the SR-recommended version) as it already includes Dawnguard fixes, it was for 1.3. Is there a reason I'm missing as to why it's recommended or is it just a mistake? :)
  4. What kind of issues are you getting? Guess that might be why there's a win8 warning. :/ Haven't had any issuse with my game whatsoever with it running win7
  5. Yeah the "3gb" ctd happens for me anywhere from 2.6gb to 3.1gb, so if your ram still goes up very fast it'd be a good idea to lower the interval of cleanmem
  6. Yeah there is a slight soundstutter (for me it's over in less than half a second though) when cleanmem does the purging
  7. You need to add the .jar file as an executable, the SR guide explains how it's done
  8. It does clean Skyrim's memory
  9. Yeah I use them, optimized as per the step guide. About the memclean program... then I am still skeptical. It just seems a bit... off to me. I guess if the memory could just be purged without concern then Bethesda would have done that. (I would assume) But I currently do not have any memory related issues.. The cleanmem program clearly states it won't work with Win8, so not surprising that it didn't work for Neo. Was worth a shot though obviously. I was very skeptical too and had shrugged it off for quite some time, but it actually did fix my RAM issues, so I'm happy I eventually gave in. And the game does purge itself from time to time when zoning etc (or if you force it with coc), but due to memory leaks etc it goes back up really fast
  10. While I assume this is harmless as I haven't noticed any issues with DSR, I figured I'd post it just incase it's something that's not supposed to happen that can help Neo..
  11. Sad to hear it doesn't work for win8, yet another reason not to update currently for me then
  12. Try setting the first clean after 1min or so then (as you need to load the save etc, pointless if it does it before that). You can set it as frequent as you want
  13. Yeah I didn't make it modular as I made it for myself, so it requires CoT sounds. Once Cliffworm releases his own patches you'll be able to get it compatible with CoT that doesn't use the sounds-module
  14. It still needs compatibility patches with RLO however as SoS changes Acoustic Space records in many cells where RLO edits ImageSpace records. :) But yeah, that would most likely be very helpful for compatibility with other mods
  15. Have you recorded measurable RAM usage decreases?Figured I'd try this tool out as well, even though I was quite the sceptic. Set it to do it's first clean after 5min and then every 10mins whilst playing. Load up my game, run around Riverwood and I hover around ~2500-2600mb RAM according to MemInfo. 5min laters, down to 500mb. From there it slowly rises again, but as I had it set to do it every 10mins, it stayed low. This tool seems to do exactly what it sets out to do.. Definitely recommend people try it out atleast. I didn't notice any stutter or such whilst the program did it's "memorydump", but that could obviously differ. The guy that keeps the nexus-site updated has nothing to do with the creation of the tool for the record, and it's freeware, so there's no Attk-shadyness going on here. :)
  16. He should have the CoT patch out soon, was speaking to him earlier today about how to go about it (he hadn't used tesXedit since Oblivion so was a bit rusty on how to merge records). Should be a USKP and RLO patch incoming as well. It's all easily doable by yourself in tes5edit for now but there's a LOT of conflicting records (and besides those it also conflicts here and there with popular mods such as Cloaks of Skyrim, Live Another Life, Book Covers etc due to those mods containing cell-edits to the same cells as SoS, which means the Acoustic Space records get overwritten by vanilla values
  17. Nah haven't really noticed anything else from SR that didn't get properly copied over into the bashed patch :)
  18. Boss does not show any tags for RND. Are you advocating both a delev and relev tag? Or just relev like your previous post said?@Vond: Thanks! @statmonster: xEdit has a Bash tag autodetection script: using it on RND produces the notification it should be tagged relev; sounds about right since IIRC RND does not remove anything (which I recall is what necessitates the DELEV tag) but adds things to leveled lists, hence RELEV. It does delete the record I mentioned in my edit of the post above, unless you've manually copied those over earlier before when doing changes to make the mod more USKP compatible. :)
  19. I know BOSS doesn't show any tags for it, that is why it needs to be done manually (it's the same for quite a few mods out there actually, as BOSS needs to be manually updated with this info and that can take time/be missed). I had a look at the file with the script that checks for needed relev/delev tags in tes5edit and it suggested both (makes sense when looking over the leveled lists it changes, as it does delete "FoodBeefCooked" and replaces it with well, everything else. When I first recommended only using relev, that was what I tried at first just to see if that would fix the missing records being copied over.
  20. Easier to explain via a picture so here you go. Just find the bottomright section, rightclick, and have it like this:
  21. Skse plugins can be installed via WB just fine
  22. Brilliant recommendation. I just took at look at ESF: The Companion's Guild; it's about time someone did the Companions right. I've been meaning to test those as I plan a werewolf playthru (thanks to MT), but it apparently has some issues with one of the new quests added to Aela for the companions. Temp (and not optimal) solution is posted at the bottom of description though an he said he would fix for next version, sadly been a long time since last update
