Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Vond replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
BOSS sorts it just after unofficial patches so yeah it's fine -
Please upload images somewhere where you don't need to be logged in to view them if possible :) imgur.com for example is excellent

As they do extremely different things I don't think it's fair to compare, but considering they're all meant to be non-important NPCs such that just "fill the scene" so to speak they should be a lot less script heavy than 3DNPC atleast. Downloaded it as I was making this post, and it has 28 tiny (1-2kb) scripts Loaded it up in tes5edit together with RLO and SoS as those are the most likely to have cell-conflicts, and there's indeed many. So loadorder will matter a lot, as it's not yet in BOSS. There also was a few clashes with Dawnguard that seemed odd (some queststarter for example under Locations)

SKYRIMLE Dawnguard Rewritten Arvak - Convenient Alsvid Patch by cmdo
Vond replied to Omolong's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
The only "problem" with it is that it's not currently included in BOSS. Can load anywhere after Convenient Horses.esp from looks of things. There's also a version for use with Footstep Overhaul -
Mod Suggestions for SR - Post in STEP Mods Forum
Vond replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36322 A patch for ORM Arvak that is included in SR, that makes Serana use the new version of Arvak instead. Also compatible with convenient horses and better footstep overhaul. -
The main issue I have with the new betarelease (apart from it being changed from 1esp to 6esp which is just personal opinion that it blows) was voices not coming from "where they should" and in general being very quiet. Don't remember what the comp. patch fixed for 0.951 really as I only tried it for a short while. Do plan on using the mod eventually however.
-
It does. SoS has patches available for .951 but not for the latest beta yet, but that one has some large issues for me atleast Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Skyrim reaches 4Gb memory usage and freezes(possible memory leak)

That's quite the necropost, this thread was from September last year -
Skyrim Redone and warning: xxxMagicSneak
Vond replied to FCqt's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Afaik he has fixed it for 1.3 (along with some other stuff, one of which another user posted a fixed script-file for temporarily on the nexus forums). The changelog for 1.3 has been up for a month though without a release. :( Thanks for letting us played with it fixed in the meantime though :) -

Well if you worry about esp-slots then just make a general override patch. Merging all the patches you made with SR together frees up a LOT of slots, can just be annoying (but only slightly) when you remove one of the mods you had patched in values for. -
Chesko posted this update today about v3.0. Looking forward to it!

Every time I hear about things like this I have to wonder why people choose to (I know not everyone has a choice, but most people in an industrialized country like the US should have) to live in an area of the world that is so often struck with things like this. That doesn't take away from the tragedy however, hopefully the death-numbers will stay (relatively) low.

Odd! Updated my link as well, guess it was cause I posted from my phone and just changed m.youtube.com to www.youtube.com and it messed something up. :) -

I just opened up the file quickly in tes5edit and noticed there's a lot of conflicts with Dawnguard. Haven't used previous versions so not sure if this is due to reverting back to 2.1 and cleaning it or not Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Here's another big one. I also see you have the DB waves file from water, but not the other files Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Yes, unless the new version fixed those things -
wanted Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff
Vond replied to Iroha's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Yeah this guide is for installing SkyRe and ASIS etc on top of an SR install, thus it's on this subforum :) Can agree that would probably save a few headaches for people however -
Morrowind already has Morrowind Overhaul that is pretty much what STEP is, but with a fully automated installer. The gameplay pack isnt out, but the graphic pack is amazing and huge Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Thank you, very much. I did miss that, because I changed my mind part way through about using SkyRe_EnemyAI.esp and forgot to go back and do that. I changed the master file of ReProccerDragonborn.esp from Reproccer.esp to SUM.esp, and that's the only one I could see that was reproccer dependent. Everything seems to be working fine now though! And no apologies necessary. Thanks again for all of your work and sharing the fruits of your labor with us. I had wanted to try Skyrim Revisited for months but didn't want to give up my SkyRe. Was very happy to see this thread. (P.S. I don't know why but changing ForgottenMagic_Redone.esp to ForgottenMagic.esp seemed to mess it up. All of the entries in the configuration menu were unintelligible. I just changed it back and left it near the bottom of the load order and it seems to work fine so far. Fingers crossed.) Just add the esp in BUM so it sorts after ForgottenMagic.esp Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 -

Does Skyrim not like DirectX11? (Graphic Problems)
Vond replied to LynziRaeighn's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Skyrim makes no use of dx11 whatsoever as its a dx9 title, but having dx11 installed is obv no problem as long as you have dx9 as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 -

Alright, I've updated to using the xp32 skeleton prior to posting. I am still curious as to why we want the animations? My character has a quiver on his back with the fletchings sticking up over his shoulder but he's pulling arrows from his belt. Then you dont use the chesko version. If you were the quiver would be down at the belt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 Does the guide tell us to use the quivers on the belt? I'm sorry, I must have missed that... Yes, it says to use the chesko version For the record concerning the CTDs some are having with latest xp32, I have no issues with either of the 2 latest versions..Tried male and female Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 -
