  1. I'm using them, but not footsteps atm. SPO has a few small issues such as sounds getting stuck in a loop (rarely) but will be fixed soon apparently. They work well together and there's patches available for SoS to work with CoT, SPO and RLO. It also requires patches for cloak of Skyrim, book covers etc that I've made for myself (also for Vilja for those who use it) unless the boss reordering williaminn did the other day fixed all of those. Might've been a clash with alternate start or two as well, but it's all cell-conflicts pretty much and easy to fix. Just too many patches if you use all unless you merge them (I made my own for everything before he released patches and kept those to avoid having 20 patches :p ) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  2. Is this based on fact of speculation? Not challenging, just wondering. I agree that it makes sense, and I personally use it but cannot confirm the effect. Mostly just OCD :P joshkope is a good example, after sorting his 3.1gb CTDs he still had tons of stuttering and freezes. His save, that had only ever used step mods, was at 38mb. After adding clearinvalidregistrations it went down to 17,5mb and no more freezes/stuttering Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  3. Long shot, but did you make sure to add: [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 to skse.ini? I know it's in the SR guide and all so most likely you did, but that could help remove some unwanted stuff from the save. Otherwise I dunno.. and tbh, you have added more than a few "small mods" over SR. You've added pretty much the biggest mod there is (SkyRe), a huge questmod that hasn't been updated in ages (I wouldn't know if it has issues anymore though - I played it thru a year ago so haven't tried it again since. Moonpath that is) and so on. That doesn't mean it should be unplayable that way as I have one setup where I use SkyRe and a bunch of questmods on top of SR as well, but it can cause issues.
  4. I actually like the DoF from RealVision. I use it with Project ENB (which also has a rather unintrusive DoF, but not quite as good) while normally I use Dynavision instead.
  5. As the title says, for some reason since I started playing Skyrim again quite recently, the steam overlay just refuses to work. It *has* worked once or twice, without me changing anything - but then goes back to not working. Skyrim is the only game with this issue. Could it be related to MO as the modutility of choice? It's highly annoying because steam chat is the only IM me and my friends use. and tabbing out from fullscreen mode is a chore. Windowed mode sadly not a good option due to tearing. :/ Any ideas?
  6. Yeah, skip d3d9.dll and grab the injector exe and ini + enbseries.dll - thats it. The injector ini looks fine but the default settings works anyway as skse loads up tesv.exe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  7. Mostly been talk about cleanmem, the last page or two is all about it pretty much :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  8. We already have a post discussing this, it's 3.1gb crash thread in this very forumsection :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  9. Might be an idea to include that people should create an skse.ini and add [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 ? It solves a lot of issues with savegame bloat etc and I see no reason not include it
  10. Just so I understand this right: I would still pick a perk (say, Marksmanship, from SkyRe) and then this mod will do the math to distribute to the Health-Stamina-Magicka points? If so, I'll have to try this out. I really dislike vanilla Skyrim's stat system - much prefer Oblivion's. I assumed this used your skills (1H, 2H, Lt Armor, Alchemy, etc.) not your perks to determine what when to increase your H/S/M. Sounds more likely than what I said. ;) Haven't tested it yet as I'm about to go sleep!
  11. Yeah, so if you pick 1h swords (or light weaponry in skyre) you'd get health+stamina for example. Mod was just released however so will be more fleshed out later most likely with some actual use for the stats
  12. Something I've been hoping for since Third Era Attributes as that never seemed to work too welll... https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/35795/
  13. What about the improved vanilla hair-meshes available here? https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/28491/
  14. Thats odd, i get better performance and IQ with 119 with SSAA, and can use SSAO then. With later versions the SSAO just causes shimmer on everything for me no matter how much I crank it up, so I get seasick and need to stop playing :/ As for being hard to convert, indeed. I believe it was at v139 everything was changed in regards to colors etc, which is why project ENB is still using v119 afaik, as he hasn't had time or energy to rewrite it all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  15. As for incompatibility, as I mage patches for myself on a full SR install, the mods conflicting (some very slightly) were cloaks of Skyrim, live another life, CoT, RLO, sound propagation overhaul and book covers. I believe only the last one is even considered for STEP currently (haven't had time to look it over in my STEP install yet). Of those mentioned, official patches are available for CoT, RLO and SPO. There's also patches for RCRN. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  16. There's actually quite a lot of newer presets that still use v119 just because it was the last version with hardware AA. Project ENB in my book beats 99% of presets using newer ENB versions (including RealVision, but that's personal opinion), uses v119 and is much less resourcehungry. :) Oh and it's updated for current CoT / RLO
  17. You can use it as a replacer yes, or have it run along the vanilla music. It's pure awesomeness.
  18. If using an ENB newer than 0.119 you should disable all forms of hardware AA, both in the skyrimprefs.ini and in nvidia inspector
  19. I'd start with removing SkyLighting, it's biggest fpskiller together with SSAO, but SSAO might not be something you want to get rid of. Reflections are pretty resourceheavy for what they do atm as well imo
  20. Fantasy Music Overhaul is back up on Nexus again. Apparently it was set to hidden because the author is working on a new, much bigger, mod - but he made it available once more atleast 'til then. :)Â
  21. Save and reload. I even added a note to the known issues. :) Hm, should that be needed on new saves as well? Cause I tried with both when testing it. Will try some more!
  22. Yeah I used a lot of his mods in the past as he he was an old Oblivion modder that made some great mods there so I knew what to expect :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
  23. 1080p. With the 1k textures VRAM actually stays at 2.5, not 2.7. My fault. Hm, still sounds odd to me as I play with 1k for the 3 "main" packs, 1024+2048 hybrid for hrdlc optimized and then mostly 2k for everything else. VRAM hardly ever goes 1900 even if RAM does. And that's with ENB and super sampling AA etc too.. Are you running some 8xSSAA and TRSSAA? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
