have updated the main guide and the intergartion guide dropped interesting NPC and all related patches updated the CR knew I would forget something Morrowloot patch also updated. Also pulled You Hunger until I know what going on with it.
-
I was informed about this from Astakos: "I was examining last night the "You Hunger" mod as I was thinking of adding it to my working mod list. Upon a very quick look I have noticed that its Realism-Complete edition is severely outdated regarding Falskaar and Wyrmstooth. It is outdated to the extend that it contains orphan records referencing Falskaar and Wyrmstooth Masters and also quite a few of its parent cells referencing these 2 mods are not updated to their latest version (i.e. 1.2.1final for Falskaar & 1.16 for Wyrmstooth). If this specific plugin is used as is now presented in the guide it can re-introduce bugs and maybe CTDs especially when the orphan records are referenced." He has informed the Mod author about it. I havn't had a chance to have a serious look at it in xedit been busy with the skill menu lag issue which I now have decided what I am going to do about.

well I think after a fw hours worth of head ache I am just going to reccomend the removal of DSR. No mucking round with ESMing files no mucking round with CR just get rid of DRS there you simple sorted I'm done for today.
-
it is a noticable drop in frame rate when opening the skills menu it only lasts for few second but I have had go as low a 2 fps so it needs sorting.
-
well bolocks flagging both interesting NPC's and Helgen yelded nothing still lagging at this rate I might as just say screw it and dump DSR all together Sorry Neo.
-
not yet I've meaning to ask the resident ini master about it but not got round to it.
-
yes
-
I am and it is actaully a lot easier then i thought i would be can be. Done in XEdit very qucikly found a video is for FNV but can be applied Skyrim. yes and they still get sucked in
-
Ok so after a bit of testing it boils down to this either: Option 1 Interesting NPC goes or Opiton 2: The grey Cowl of Noctural (plus all patches) Sofia (goes) Arrisa (goes) Recorder (goes) Toccata gets change to the non scripted verion (might do this anyway) or goes. For me Option 2 is the easiest when come to CR and patches.
-
no I have ruled that out cause that would be a pain for everyone else following this guide. tyring something else out but have to wait for DynDoLod to finish processing.
-
I'm going to do it section by section but suspet it's interest NPC's (due to how script heavy that mod is) with all the followers so i'll start there. Edit: Low and behold I am correct the Lag is being caused by Interesting NPC's with it Lag without no Lag this might explain why some people have been having this issue and other havn't now to decided what to do. It might be painful for some but for the greater good and my sanity to propse Interest NPC goes. also doing this will reduce string count by 3500ish so win win The Other Options is to remove some of the quest mods cause it appears you can one or the other not both.

I am going to have to do is take my test profile right back to start and activate SRLE Extended mods little by little until I find the mod or mods causing this (this might take awhile) but i will not be defeated.
-
so as a little test I deactivated interesting NPCs and all mods requirng it as a master and Ordinator and all mods requiring that as a master, then re-ran DSR Patcher. Then tested the lag into the skill menu. I am unhappy to report no change the lag is still there. I am now at a loss as to where to go next on this issue other then replacing DSR with something else (So answers on a postcard to Darth is loosing his mind and has finally cracked).

SRLE Extended Mod Suggestions
Darth_mathias replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I belive it does yes. INeed isn't perfect and Youhunger is used to further remove food from the world. it make so you have to go out hunting and foraging. -
it's not been updated since I started creating the wiki so four months.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Darth_mathias replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
hey Neo is it possible to stop DSR patcher from processing a mod? -
yes food for throught indeed this was occuring with summerset lsle before I removed then it had it with thunderchild which again I removed and now it's back. The mod I have on top are morrowloot, Warburgs 3d paper map and Unoffical ELFX patch so the only mod out of then that have scripts is morrowloot. I jus find it odd the this is only presenting itself after DSR Patcher has been run and the esp activiated. Edit: Ok I can now rule at Morrowloot as the cause of this.
-
ok i'll check
-
some getting this and some are not havn't worked it out yet. ok thank i'll update
-
Hi DoubleYou just updated to version 2.5 and noticed spINI Ultra preset is not adding a [Combat] section to the Skyrim.ini this may or may not be correct so I throught I would check.
-
That would be nice if he did and I am sure would help this current issue I am having, I don't consider the problem game breaking just annoying. I would do it myself but I have 0 skills in scripting.
-
I could switch SRLE Extended from DSR to All geared up as that does solve the issue my end but I think that will require a new start and I am loathed to restart yet again. This issue only presents itself after running DRS Patcher. I did think of adding interesting NPC to DSR block list and see if that help things but I can seem to find a block list for DSR. What setting Dyndolod did you choose?
-
Added A Lot of Dual Sheath Redux Patches by Slothability while at least for me is still there is lag into the skills menu it has been reduced by at least half now. I will be doing further testing on this. Ok I have decided to replace AH hotkey with something a bit lighter what not sure yet maybe Categorized Favorites Menu (which version again not sure yet as there a quite a few)

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
Darth_mathias replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
re-ran Dyndolod using 1.49 scripts and the lag I was sufferig has now gone skyrim weridness abound sheogorath is at work. -
ok so I have just re-run Dyndolod using 1.49 scripts (something I havn't done before now) and the lag into teh skills menu I was suffering has now gone but I will be keeping an eye on it. Edit: OK Even more interesting Lag back after DSR Patcher run so maybe DSR is one mod too much for Extended or something.
