The reverting on world model is my bad, I accidentally copied a field over. As far as weapon mods showing up, the author would have to distribute meshes and textures to match WMX. The esp allows you to keep the high fidelity mesh/texture and use the weapon mods functionally, but does not change the visual of the weapon mods. I apologize if that part wasn't clear. I updated the link if you still want it. -

Any texture option from the mod should should work. I just downloaded the tempered steel texture (which is the lore version) and ran the esp. Is your bashed patch overwriting it? -

In place of. It doesn't work with the removable scope though as that would require alot more work changing item lists and various mods. It just keeps the upgraded model and textures when using WMX weapon mods. -

I don't think he will. I made it compatible for my weapons patch for TTW on their forums, I can make an esp just for La Longue Carabine here if people want it? Currently it's for WMX and IMPACT, just let me know if you want one. -

I'd say in addition to the Osdius/Hitman working on animations, the biggest visual mods to look forward to are Tapiokas extended vending machines + bottles, Drumber's bottles + beer, Emerald Reign's energy weapons (see here https://imgur.com/a/ATiGg#43) and Drumber's FCO extensions. -

The Animated Chems and bluebellfairies others animations mods do not work with Enhanced Camera. You get double arms. Hitman is working on some amazing animations for first person though that will be worth looking at in the future when they come out. -
He has a couple other component mods, but of them only the beards and teeth (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55768/?) play nicely with Fallout 3 NPC's as the rest require hand placement and he hasn't done FO3 characters.

I have another texture mod to recommend. Beards by Drumber (FCO guy) https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49624/? It comes in 512,1024,2048 sizes. I'm currently using 512 and it already seems considerably better, looking like actual hair. I may look at 1k, for when you're closer to NPC's. 2k is definitely too high for 1080. The pictures give you an idea, but you can really tell in game moving around. Vanilla -> Beards (512)

I'll definitely be keeping track of this one. That's one thing I think the modding environment is missing. While REGS has a bunch of new content areas and enhanced cities/towns, some overhaul mods of the vanilla dungeon areas would be nice.

Yea, I think hiding the 4 files may be easiest. When I found the fix, I didn't realize it was included with the unofficial patch at first, only that the textures were broken in my current game. Hiding the textures in Better Clutter fixed it again. NMC is going to release a couple bug fixes soon, so now would be the best time to find any possible bugs as he is currently active.

I got a small bugfix for ya. I never really noticed until I found this mod but the super duper mart aisle signs are seriously messed up in vanilla. Apparently this is due to the UV map not matching the color map correctly. Someone went and fixed it: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/11234/?# EDIT: Apparently this is included in the unofficial patch now. Better Clutter & Furniture is overriding it rebreaking the texture. textures/clutter/junk/aislesign* should be hidden in better clutter Broken -> Fixed

Yea I plan on putting in the work at some point, but I'm still playing with my textures and I want to wait till my load order is set. I need my comp for the last data processing for my PhD though....so I'll be quite a while -

I don't think you're starting a war. In my line of work, everything is very iterative. Once you put your code or research out there, it's expected that people will then take it and improve upon it. Doing otherwise is highly looked down upon. The only expectation is citing who did the previous work. As this is exactly what this person did I have no issue with it, but I am realizing how parts of mod community have completely opposite social norms. -
I think they're all large improvements except for the SkyForge. That doesn't seem to fit as well. EDIT: Grammar

As far as the texture components go, as long as there are not actual NMC files in Quasars pack (I do believe NMC's pack is somewhere on the site, which I agree with you on being an issue, but not the one at hand) I don't see the issue. There is nothing wrong with derivative works, hell just look at at Bethesda's own textures for examples (ruinlinen01.dds,ruinlinen02.dds): As far as the modified nif's, they function as a patch. They still require the base mod the function. How is this functionally any different from making an .esp patch? I can't argue for the site as a whole, but the guide doesn't even link to the site anymore, instead linking directly to the files on another server/service to which he links his mod pages on multiple sites. -
Now that IMPACT has an official FO3 version, it'll be interesting to see what patches get made. With the NV version I find the metal warp effect to pause my game even with a GTX 980, but the rest of it seems to play well.

Has anyone had issues with glowing Outcast armor? I'm using the updated version of https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/16199/? released here https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/18221/? which fixes the issue for me (I'll have to reduce to 2k), but wanted to see if anyone had the same problem. Ignore, I found out another mod caused the issue.

I realize that the site does host content without permission for some original authors, but there are also new mods only on that site. As far as proof, some of these mods cover textures untouched by any mod I've seen on either nexus and at significantly higher quality than vanilla. Depending on which of Quasars are used, that about 700 new textures. But now the guide doesn't even need to link to the site as we can point to the direct download link which is on another site. -
