  1. Most AV packs are already 2k and it seems to run just fine to me. Also, normal maps can be set up so you don't have to have one for every individual texture, you can choose one that will always be chosen by AV for the NPC being spawned. The description is on the AV website not the nexus. I'm more worried about my Skyrim and Bash Installers folders blowing up to some ridiculous size. I'm sure if you set up a bunch of NPC, weapon, and armor variants plus all the other mods it would be pushing 100 GB.
  2. LOL wow. Those are horrifying. Which download file am I supposed to get? The version 2.2 one? I don't get what the difference between the 3 main files are.2.0 is replacer, 2.1 is stand alone, 2.2 is a combined installer for NMM so you can choose what options you want. I'm using the 2.0 replacer since the vanilla masks are a joke. There is also an optional file for 2.0 to have the vanilla hoods but they suck so don't use that. Now I actually want to track down the masks even the wooden mask is awesome with the wooden hood, seriously a wooden hood. What will they think of next?
  3. I was using the Apophysis mod for a while until the Unique Dragon Priest Masks came out. They are just so different and look excellent in game. As for the half naked girls, where do they get the bikinis with 1000 armor rating? Japan?
  4. V2.0 just popped up in my tracked files. Looks like NPC mesh support was added along with support for weapons. Leviathan says armor variants are next. EDIT: Doesn't look like weapons is included in this release, but it is finished. Guess I read the authors comment wrong.
  5. If it was compatible with NACMIM it would be really great. The last version lets people swap out the hotkeys for those of you without numpads. I really like the options in the MCM menu, pretty much makes the mod essential just for removing the sneak text and activate button.
  6. I like mixing this mod with other stuff that adds to the wild like Immersive Patrols, Monster Mod, Bellyaches New Dragons, and AV. Just running around watching all the fights is so much fun. Wolfpack vs Bear vs Minotaur vs Stormcloak vs Thalmor vs Dragon is pretty sweet when you see it.
  7. It only covers five hairs, 3 female and 2 male, so far. I'd say it's one to watch when it is more complete.
  8. The ability to customize different sound levels from the menu with a slider is a definite plus. I don't use Clanking Armor because it is just to loud, and often the sounds don't match some of the custom armors which I'm assuming most people use, STEP or not.
  9. The Lore Friendly Purist plugin with the old monster mod fit in really well with Tamriel. It just added creatures from TES games that Beth didn't add into Skyrim like Minotaurs, Ogres, and Imps... If you can add in some Oblivion gates, a few Oblivion creatures isn't that intrusive.
  10. Skse plugins can be installed via WB just fine I know just want to be able to install SKSE and other extenders/injectors with WB so everything can be in my mod installers folder.
  11. I kinda wish that WB would install stuff into the skyrim directory too. That way ENB and SKSE type stuff would be easy to install/uninstall without an extra program.
  12. It should be compatible with just about everything except the original Skyrim Monster Mod.
  13. Realistic Mushrooms is already included in this mod, but I don't think it should be evaluated on its size, but rather on the quality of the work. If other mods in STEP are better just put it in the correct order, that's what the conflicting graphics section is for.
  14. Maybe something like a built in Unistall or Reset to Default option int the MCM menu would go a long way toward customization and ease of updating/uninstalling.
  15. Aren't these textures mostly 4k? I'd bet that is overkill for most things in Skyrim and might be best served for something like Extreme STEP, if that ever became a separate addendum.
  16. So I'm assuming that SkyTweak will stack on anything added in any type of INI like Community Uncapper. It basically lets everything else load first then uses that as it's default?
  17. I have that dragon corpse thing too, but it just seems to spawn the dead dragon outside of Whiterun whenever I'm leaving the town. It might have to do with something in Dragon Combat Overhaul if you have that one installed.
  18. If they were anything like the gates in Oblivion they should be scattered around and then right near a city gate. I imagine the ones near city gates would have been torn down for fear they would reopen. I do like the idea of this mod though.
  19. You might ask someone that knows more about LVLI if 0 is a valid input for LVLD - Chance None since that is a change that is being overwritten by Skyrim.esm. Other than that my bashed patch inherits everything else.
  20. Gopher did a of this mod and it's features. Â After a couple days of having this installed I feel it's essential. NACMIM is not compatible and simple crosshair is included in the mod's optionals in the MCM menu. I suggest anyone that hates how large everything on the HUD is should use this mod to shrink everything down. Gopher did miss the part where you can push '.' on the numpad to change how many units to move things at a time, either .5, 1, 10 units.
  21. Unless you use a sample config then you don't need a BCF for 1.18, the Interface and SKSE folders are fine.
  22. I used to use ReNamer and it was a really easy, but now I just use a bunch of markers and sort by the file tab and search alphabetically.
  23. I'm guessing you guys use a batch naming program. Renaming each file individually seems a bit like overkill?
  24. Would love to see it come back as well, I accidentally removed mine when deleting mods I wouldn't use before sorting out my latest install. Uploading it publicly without authors consent is usually not allowed though You might ask SP if he would mind someone sharing it privately, like through dropbox, instead of uploading it publicly. I've only chatted with him a couple times, but he was always a good guy.
