  1. I am unable to add CREA - Creature records to new settings with FNV. Error popup says 'invalid pointer operation'. Apparently they don't exist for Skyrim. Pretty sure Oblivion, FO3, and FNV have them though.
  2. I think it's a jewelry mod. Gemling Queen Jewelry is all I can think of.
  3. I've started messing with Merge Plugins Standalone. It's stupid simple to use. With GamerPoets vid it's even stupider simpler to use. Now I just need to port every merge over. Sounds like a long night a head. Has anyone used Project REality with the guide before? I forget if I've asked this question before, but I'd like to know. I want to use get on that weather page soon. I might just do it anyways with just Nevada Skies and RWLE.
  4. Great video. GP really knows how to lay out everything in a way that even mudbrains can understand.
  5. Transparent doors. Tactical Mossberg. Glad people are still making mods for FNV. Usually after a new game comes out the other people still making stuff are the porn people.
  6. Updated the OP with latest dev version.
  7. It's like one of those shitty Tumblr blogs.
  8. Landlord by Sagittarius22 Be a landlord. Pretty self explanatory.
  9. Better performance. I made the decision last summer to switch but then I disappeared from STEP for a while.
  10. I think I got all the links except the PDF version which hasn't been updated since last February. I'll have to add that to the list of stuff to update. If anyone runs across one let me know. I have until May though so it's not super important.
  11. Alright, finally moved to RWLE from Nevada Skies. Should have done that months ago. DOn't think you will have a problem updating during a playthrough, but you should do a clean save and back up to be sure in case you want to fall back to Nevada Skies. I'll eventually write up a weather mod page so users can pick from Nevada Skies, RWLE, or Project Reality. I've just never actually tested the last one with F&L. If anyone has then let me know how it went.
  12. https://wiki.step-project.com/User:EssArrBee/Sandbox Looks like using the Mega links are fine. You just have to make sure they are shared with the encryption key in the url. I'll start migration tonight. I'm going to nuke my install of FNV and start all over. I haven't worked through the guide like a newbie in over a year, so it's always good to start fresh and touch up everything I as go.
  13. That would be him. I always forget the names of those MO moderator guys.
  14. You need for the those mods to "see" DarnUI, but then need the Darn files to overwrite some of the files that get installed. I got those instructions from someone in the know about MO. I forget his name ATM, the guy with the german shepherd avatar. He tested it quite a bit when the MO installer updated. I haven't bother with it since because it worked and that whole ordeal before MO could do those complex installers was such a nightmare that I don't want to mess with that section ever again. I should rephrase that part about UIO and uHUD. UIO replaces uHUD so you don't have to rerun the uHUD utility to get all the UI mods to work every time you change one of those mods.
  15. We have the compilation to help ease the burden. It will grow a bit every release so as we add mods to the guide it won't get much longer overall. I'd love to get 50 or so mods in the compilation. That would save people at least 3 hours of going to each mod page, downloading a file, and installing it.
  16. Merge Plugins actually merges the whole plugins you select into one single plugin. It also can copy over assets for you to put it all in one mod folder so you can disable or delete the mods that were merged. I actually don't know how conflicting records are handled by Merge Plugins since I haven't messed with it in too long (since before the standalone came out). I really need to get back into it though. Mator Smash is a patcher. It can patch your entire load order. It is like the Bashed Patcher from Wrye Bash/Flash/Smash, but it approaches the whole thing differently. I'm guessing it also uses xEdit to build off of so it can patch more records than the Bashed Patcher since that needs specific code for each record/subrecord. Say you have two large mods that both make lots of changes to Cell subrecords like RWT and AOS. You need to merge the water type subrecords with the acoustic sound subrecords found in the CELL records. This is what patchers do best. Overall it can remove the need for many, many patches that take up load order slots. For example, the AOS patches would be unnecessary with Mator Smash.
  17. Did they migrate the current accounts?
  18. Moved thread to Support forum. Please use this forum to for support topics in the future.
  19. I can't look at the current installer since I don't have access to the file ATM. You could just install the texture compilation part for now and then get the STEP Patches Resource from the Optional Files on the STEP Nexus page and select the patch you want.
  20. Lock Overhaul should work for lockpicking. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29979/?
  21. I moved the thread to Support and Troubleshooting and unlocked the thread. Please use this forum for support threads in the future. All of kryptopyr's mods should be STEP compatible.
  22. The only thing that might not be upgradeable to an existing game is FCO.
  23. The STEP Patches are just updated to the latest version of ICAIO and I also included non-ICAIO versions of patches.
  24. It's not just a problem with the game. It's a DX9 problem from the DXT compression algorithm. Normals can't really be compressed at a 1:6 ratio like colors. It usually can get by with a 2:3 ratio. That ends up lossless where DXT is lossy. Or you can just leave them uncompressed.
