Leave the MO order thing out of it. We have evaluated the entire list of Core or Core and Extended mods and the order in the guide is fine. We are still working on whether the mod order problem that MO presents is something we should address. It is still in beta so as it develops we will heed its advice more astutely.

SKYRIMLE Prince and the Pauper (by JadeRoyale)

Yeah, I've been thinking this was a perfect Extended candidate, so if there is a lore friendly version then it would be better for STEP. -

Thanks, $1 is definitely worth it with a recommendation. The $20 dollar bundle is worth it if you don't own those two game, or pay the average if you do so that all the other games kick in. I just paid $25 because I'm a sucker for the Red Cross or Child's Play (the charity they usually use). I wish more products were available in the humble bundle way, I'd gladly pay for stuff that went to producer, seller, and charity. I'm all for sharing.

You are correct. The additions are retroactive, so buy now before the average increases. When I made the original post it was $6.38 and now it's $7.11. Hurry!!!

There should be a way to whitelist certain executables with all AVs. They need stuff reported to them to make detection better.

Bioshock 1 and Infinite + XCOM + Spec Ops is worth way more than $20. The Bureau is not good and I can't speak about Mafia 2 and the Darkness 2, but the others are well worth the price.

My bad, I meant to put the name of the main file and put the optional twice.

That was included in the Skyrim Revisited Guide. You can find it here: https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition Mods will say if they need cleaning and link to a separate page with instructions.

Notice: As of STEP 2.2.8, we are only actively supporting Skyrim Legendayr Ed. (all DLCs) - We continue to 'passively' support other DLC/non-DLC configurations as an artifact of having done so previously. However, moving forward, all new content will assume Legendary Ed. We will gradually phase out information pertaining to limited DLC components. As per the 2.2.7 release, STEP:Core is essentially final with the 2.2.8 release and is represented by only installing mods marked as "Core" in the STEP Guide. We are gathering screens of this base install now and verifying that it includes everything necessary but nothing more than that --all according to the new STEP:Core Mandate. Anyone that has not yet read that, please do so to better understand the direction we are heading. STEP 2.2.9 marked our final step towards 2.3.0. Now begins our focus on our paradigm shift alluded to in our Nexus article for the 2.3.0 release; which will fully integrate Packs. This shift will not be that drastic, since we will have made most of the really obvious changes already, not least of all, those introduce in 2.2.8 and 2.2.9. However, the 2.3.0 release will see a major change in the STEP Guide as STEP Extended will no longer be available on the STEP Guide. It will be presented as a STEP Pack, along side all the other STEP Packs, as the STEP Team's official pack. v2.3.0 ChangeLog For replacers, the test case should be a high-quality screenshot compare. We don't need a lot, just two or three sets of compares on the thread marked [ TESTING ]. The idea is that testing --and logging of that activity on the threads-- will be touch & go for a lot of mods, and it should be pretty clear by anyone stumbling upon any mod thread what the end result is. Let us know if you want to be a Mod Tester!

BUG REPORTS ONLY PLEASE! Please post any bugs or issues that you think may be related to this release on this thread. Those issues will be fixed, if possible, in the next STEP update. Progress on the next STEP release can be found in this forum. Make sure to check back often for updates! v2.2.9 Changelog (changes made since initial release)

ACCEPTED Weapon and Armor Fixes (by kryptopyr)
EssArrBee replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Use the Bashed Patch, untick Stats from WAF and CCF and then make sure it's ticked on any Unofficial Patches. You could even add the Stats tag to Skyrim.esm to further make stats vanilla. -

Gonna necro this thread because the new Humble Bundle is something people should know about. This is the 2K version with some decent games. Bioshock, The Bureau, Darkness 2 - Pay what you want. Bioshock 2, Mafia 2, Spec Ops: The Line, and more coming soon - Pay more than the average ($6.38 at time of this post) XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Bioshock Infinite - Pay $20 or more. I actually own all these games on one platform or another. My recommendation is that if don't own XCOM and Bioshock Infinite then cough up the $20 bucks because that is a great price, plus you get the original Bioshock and Spec Ops: The Line.

Yes, you could do that. You can also add a higher priority number to the plugin that you want sorted after the STEP patch that will sort it lower if there is a conflict between that plugin and the STEP Patch. Just make sure the priority number is lower than the Bashed Patch.

After the next guide launches throw up as many suggestions as you want.

EssArrBee replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
They look over what is in your plugins and use what they feel meets the goal of the UPP. So if you update for the latest UPs, you'd be updating to what is already in WAF/CCF. -
GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
There is a userlist manager with BOSS and you can follow the same rules I lay out with that. It isn't quite as dynamic as BUM, but it gets the job done. -
Anything in the STEP Patches you want to use in your own patch is fine. You just need to continue to distribute it through STEP, like you do now, for permission reasons with SMIM. We will probably start putting Pack patches in the nexus Optional files as we move toward a solution that lets us support Packs more thoroughly. You can also make a wiki page for any plugin you create if you feel it is necessary. After we finally get 2.2.9 out, you can bug me about anything if you have any questions.
-
Not 2.2.9 because we are done testing for that and trying to finish up, but maybe it will go into testing for 2.3.0.

Yes, this is correct, someone added the TW version to the guide without letting me know and it didn't make it into the last version. Regardless, 2.2.9 is soon. Very soon. If you would just hurry up and update all the mods, this wouldn't be a problem. I mean really kryp, it's all your fault. -
The LOOT priority works by sorting a patch with a super high number last among conflicting mods. I used to say load it last in the BOSS days because that was necessary. Now It should be one of the last mods. In STEP Extended I believe two mods are loaded after it, iHUD, and Minty's Lightning. Neither will make any difference since they don't touch any of the same records. LOOT should sort the requiem mods properly, but there should be someone looking in TES5Edit to make sure.
