ACCEPTED Book Covers Skyrim (by DanielCoffey and doccdr)
BUBISHI replied to dstansberry's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
While looking for patches for Requiem I found the patch collection for Book Cover Skyrim. While installing the Requiem patch the fomod installer allso detected The Choice Is Yours and Complete Crafting Overhaul from STEP extended. Now I wonder if those two patches should be installed as all three mods are part of STEP: Complete Crafting Overhaul The Choice Is Yours Book Cover Skyrim The author says about the patches: TCIY - The Choice Is Yours improves dialogue and quest start options in the game and affects one Note to do with a quest in Markarth. The Compatibility Patch is tiny but necessary for the quests to flow as intended. Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade is, as its name suggests, an overhaul of the Skyrim crafting system. It affects two books - the Light and Heavy Armor Forging and the Bonemold Formula Note. The answer to my question might be again "Those patches are contained in the STEP patch", but I just wanted to know for sure. Thanks -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
BUBISHI replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Hallo Sheson, just wanted to know if it is normal that creating a setup with DynDOLOD increases save size. I have noticed that while testing my STEP setup with additional mods. I run my testgames with chosen mods without generating DynDOLOD because it would take to long to generate it. After creating a new character without DynDOLOD I have a save around 6 MB. When I generate a save with DynDOLOD activated the size of the save grows to 9 MB. Thats 50% more just by adding one esp. Is it intended? I have used both 1.46 and now 1.47 without any problems with the installation/generation. I use a modified STEP extended + Requiem + Falskaar setup. -
Might be, might be not... I'm definitely not the one who knows

Almost 24 hours passed without another hotfix ... do You think it is safe now. But February still has 5 days left

Any planed updates on the PATCH in the next 1-2 days because of USLEEP 3.0.2b and ICIAO? Just wanted to find a good time for me when I can stop patching and finaly start a new game with more or less "complete" setup

ACCEPTED Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD (by Sheson)
BUBISHI replied to DoubleYou's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I'm using the recent 1.47 version with Shesons guidlines on his NEXUS page/forum Thread and comparing it to the 1.46 STEP guide causes me some troubles. Installing the new TES5Edit and moving scripts is the same, but Sheson also recomends optional Vanilla Skyrim LOD Billboards and then any optional LOD Billboards for the load order This were not used for STEP with 1.46. I could use some help here, maybe the STEP guide could be updated for 1.47, it works perfectly for me. -
Are You kidding me? The last two weeks I'm more buisy with updating patches than playing the game. Most of the patches/mods can be updated safely - that's what I though. At least USLEEP is one of the mods that can't harm a running game. That's my level of knowledge... which is very low...

ACCEPTED Unofficial High Resolution Patch (by Unofficial Patch Project Team)
BUBISHI replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I have installed this patch as recommended. Disabled the .eps and ticked it in the archives tab. Now sometimes when I start MO and check the archives the patch is unticked again. Don't know why this happens, this patch is the only file that uses a checkbox I can activate/deactivate - the other .bsa files checkboxes are greyed out. It happens when I change MO profiles. It is enough to just chnage the profiles without doing anything else. Did I install something not correctly, I don't see any changes ingame, don't get warnings... any idea? -

Do You mean this issue: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/1229-relighting-skyrim-by-novakdalton-and-jawz/?p=121909 Then it's a problem caused by Relighting Skyrim. -
Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
BUBISHI replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Hallo sheson, currently many mods have been updated and I have rebuild my loader a couple times rebuilding my DynDOLOD 1.46 installation several times. Never got problems so far with 1.46. I have started a new game recently, it's only three days old, but now You updated Your masterpiece and I'm looking for a reason to update or not. Your update post says "you're free to update or not" so I would think I don't need to update because I have no problems but if I read the changelog it looks like a big update with a couple of fixes. I'm not a native speeker and maybe I misunderstood one of Your sentences so please could You be so kind and verify my summary: Updating scripts The latest Papyrus Scripts are backwards compatible with 1.46. To update an existing save game only with new scripts, first deactivate DynDOLOD, wait for deactivation message, go into interior, check MCM DynDOLOD is still deactivated, save, exit game. Replace scripts, start game, load the save, go outside, activate DynDOLOD. If you do not intent to generate LOD, do not replace/overwrite anything else like meshes or textures from 1.46 to not disturb an existing save game. I guess better running scripts are better for my game even if I don't want to update the .esp or generate new meshes. The scripts will work with 1.46 so this should be done. ----- Updating LOD If you intend to update LOD of an existing save game by updating the existing DynDOLOD.esp, overwrite the 1.46 meshes but do not delete any of the old meshes/textures so either a file is the old or new version but not one of the old files goes missing. So it means in MO I chose the merging option when installing, so nothing gets deleted and my Output files are still compatible. What's the point in updating just the .esp and not generating new meshes? ----- Generate LOD from scratch If you intend to generate LOD from scratch, replace - not overwrite - the meshes/textures from 1.46. Delete meshes/textures from 1.46 first, then install the meshes/textures from the archive. I would prefer to do this if I have to update because it would not mix old meshes with new .esp and scripts. It seems the "cleanest" method for me. I would just uncheck my 1.46 esp and the generated meshes but do not delete them in case something goes wrong so I can revert to the old version. Sorry, answering noobish questions must be tiring, I understand the updating procedure but I'm not sure if I should do the update and how to decide on the perfect updating way for me. Thanks BUBISHI -
Thank You. ICAIO recieved just recieved an update from 0.2.5 to 0.2.5.1. Hope this does not mean You have to update, too. Version 0.2.5.1The main plugin has been updated to be in line with changes from USLEEP 3.0.1. The compatibility patch for CRF has been updated to be in line with the latest version of CRF.

NEXUS action log shows the file has been changed today. Was it because of the minior faults with the FOMOD? I have made it through the installation of the older file somehow. How can I check if all the patches have been installed? Or should I download the newest version and overwrite my patch? Any issues with an 3 hours old save if I do so, or is it better to restart?
-
I have noticed the same: the FOMOD shows an old version and let's me un/check core/extended patch.

Thank You for the update EssArrBee.

Thank You for the update, Shurah says the CFR patch for ICAIO needs no update.

Hallo, can this mod be added to a STEP extended setup without any problems? As You guys are about to update the STEP patches maybe it could be included in the new version? -

BUBISHI replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Sorry, it's me again. I have just downloaded the new 0.2.5 version. I will wait for the STEP patch update but have one more question. The installer recommends the installation of Immersive Citizens - ELE patch.esp because ELE_Legendary_Lite.esp is part of STEP extended. STEPS recommends not to load it because... ...it's incorporated into the STEP Patch? Same answer as above? -

Have just checked Shurahs compatibility list on NEXUS. Cutting Room Floor (Note: only compatible if you use the provided compatibility patch) The STEP installation guide says not to activate the patch when installing Immersive Citizen. Will this produce a mod conflict? -
ACCEPTED Relighting Skyrim (by NovakDalton and JawZ)

I'm searching for potential problems in my setup and checked this mod with TES5edit for errors: [00:00] Checking for Errors in [4F] RelightingSkyrim_Legendary.esp[00:02] RelightingSkyrim_DGForms [FLST:4F087DF4][00:02] FLST \ FormIDs \ LNAM - FormID -> [06002F9A] < Error: Could not be resolved >[00:02] RelightingSkyrim_HFForms [FLST:4F087DF5][00:02] FLST \ FormIDs \ LNAM - FormID -> [07005AFD] < Error: Could not be resolved >[00:02] RelightingSkyrim_DBForms [FLST:4F087DF6][00:02] FLST \ FormIDs \ LNAM - FormID -> [08009467] < Error: Could not be resolved >[00:02] FLST \ FormIDs \ LNAM - FormID -> [08014FD8] < Error: Could not be resolved >[00:02] All Done! I wonder because if I open the Formlists they are not marked red, as the mod is not beeing overwritten but therre ist the error warning.I'm just learning how to use TES5edit so I don't know what to do in this case. 1. I could remove this references so they cannot do any trouble?2. I could reinstall the mod and check again?3. This mod is part of STEP and has undergone a quality check or something like that. Maybe I should just keep it as it is? Any idea? -
UPDATE: Have done the new Requiem setup - no problems while installing: no errors, used all the patches kept to guides and advices how to arrange load order. Have been playing for more than four hours now and have no issues. First I thought the leveling was broken because I needed just to run 100 meters to level Evasion from 5 to 6. But that's just in the beginning and because I have played Requiem 1.7.3 with a level 55 character for a long time I have forgotten how fast it can go with low skills. Here is my load order on Modwatch My custom patch is not done yet, now that I know how to do it I have to decide what to patch.
