  1. The STEP guide says to install the misc file but later with the STEP patch it is said: Realistic Ragdolls and Force is now merged into the STEP Patches, so no need to install it in Section 2.D. Fixes. Which one wins? UPDATE: figured out myself. I need it for core, not for extended.
  2. Many thanks for your fast support.
  3. Installed the "cleaned" Hearthfire version of this mod for an extended STEP setup and LOOT tells me it's still dirty: BirdsHFclean.esp warrning: contains 48 ITM records. Clean with TES5Edit Could not find any recommendations on the guide. Should I clean it one more time or leave it as it is? Thanks for help.
  4. Have some troubles when installing this modwith the STEP extended setup. LOOT gives me some dirty references and recommends cleaning with TES5Edit. SDO Full-LOD - Giant Campfires.esp warrning: contains 12 ITM records. Clean with TES5Edit SDO Full-LOD - Waterfall Effect.esp warrning: contains 36 ITM records. Clean with TES5Edit SDO Full-LOD - The Morthal Swamp Complete.esp warrning: contains 129 ITM records. Clean with TES5Edit SDO Full-LOD - Whiterun Trundra Creeks.esp warrning: contains 39 ITM records. Clean with TES5Edit Should I clean the mod? Could not find information on this in the guide. Thank You for help.
  5. The administrator allready have noticed that. Propably down due updates…
  6. After cleaning I have to create a mod from the Overwrite – I learned this by now. But in the end of STEPcore setup when I create the Bashed Patch Wrye asks me if it may deselect Distan Detail. If I do and create the Bashed Patch the mod is marked green but shows a "+" inside the green square. I ignored this and went back to MO. Here in the right plugins panel Distant Detail was unticked so I ticked it and started playing. Is this standard procedure with this mod?
  7. Just a beginners question inbetween: With 1.7.0 I created the SKSE folder with the .ini file inside the Skyrim directory. Worked fine I guess because SKSE fired up. With the 1.7.1 I kept the location for the .ini file. Worked fine I guess because SKSE fired up. The new STEPguide recommends to place the .ini file into the MO managed folder directory. Did that and I guess it worked because SKSE launched Skyrim. This seems to easy – is there a console command to verify that SKSE uses the .ini file similiar to getSKSEversion or will SKSE always find the .ini unless itS not placed in trash?
  8. Storm Atronachs? Pffff. I will throw these filthy daedra back into the seven hells of Oblivion! Directions from Helgen, please?
  9. This may not fit in here, but what kind of character fit most into a STEPcore+Requiem setting. I didn't play Skyrim much before and I'm planing a new (first) characters. As Skyrim has an action oriented combat style (compared to Morrowind which I play a lot), I wanted a mele oriented character. As people say sneaking makes a lot of fun in Skyrim I would like to try more Skyrim-sneaking. Archery looks good in Skyrim, would like to to that too. I could do all of that in Vanilla Skyrim but as far as I know Requiem says: No, chose one! With my first character I would like to follow the main quest to see most of the efforts Bethesda put into the game and the DLCs. So what is the most fitting character developement for Requiem Skyrim?
  10. Check if there is a SKSE folder in your Skyrim directory, I belive in the last STEP version it was ment to be created there and if you update...
  11. It should not stay in Overwrite as far as I know. You have to move it up into the left panel by right clicking on it and create a mod. I recommend to call it bashed patch_core so if you decide to upgrade to extended you can create a bashed patch the same way and call it _extended. You will have two bashed patches in left panel then and only need to activate the right one. Hope this helps.
  12. Can the Fuz Rho D-oh.log also be moved into the mod folder? Would do it manually because it does not show up in MO. Just for cosmetical reasons.
  13. Maybe there should be an guide entry for SKSE -Elys- AltF4 as it creates a log file in Overwrites that must be moved to the actuall mod. Rookies like my would not ask if they knew it from the beginning.
  14. Agree. I updated too and now the report works. But it took windows 20min to update a browser, I had to restart twice, I don't know what the application installed so I don't feel fine with it. I disabled it in the windows features again and hope never to use it again. But in any case: the support here is great!
  15. Will this log be recreated everytime I start the game? In this case I agree with You. Allready found a Fuz Rho D-oh.log in my Skyrim folder and wondered how it got there.
  16. I drag only the .log file inside the two folders. Then I can delete the empty SKSE and Plugins folder in Overwrite. Or I drag the whole SKSE folder from Overwrites to the mod? Sorry, I just dont want to mess it up. Thank You.
  17. I'm curently setting up STEP 2.2.9. and after installing this mod I get a .log file in the Overwrite. The path is Overwrite/SKSE/Plugins/SKSE_Elys_Altf4.log The .log contains this messages: What should I do with this Overwrite?
  18. This is what the LOOT FAQs recommend: LOOT's report is blank. How do I fix this?LOOT uses Windows' internal web browser to display its report. This web browser is basically Internet Explorer, but it's present even if you have Internet Explorer disabled. If it's not displaying LOOT's report properly, this may be because it isn't up-to-date. The report display has been tested using IE 11, which is available to all Windows 7 and 8.x users. Windows Vista users can only update as far as IE 10, and though the report should display with this version, it is untested. To update the internal web browser, make sure Internet Explorer is enabled in the "Turn Windows features on/off" control panel, and install the latest updates available through Windows update. That should be enough to fix the report display, and you can disable Internet Explorer again if you so wish. I can't tell you if this works for me when I'm home, maybe you can test it now and report you feedback, please.
  19. Thank You for the advice, have posted my request there.
  20. Have not found a solution to my problem yet. If I uninstall LOOT do I have to delete the C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/LOOT/Skyrim folder so I'm sure there are no other LOOT files from a previous install? Or do I have to clean other hidden directories on my system?
  21. I have a problem with the LOOT Report viewer: the browser window displays only a few boxes but no actuall record or text. If I click properties I get a path to: file:///G:/Programme/LOOT/resources/report/report.html?data=C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/LOOT/Skyrim/reportdata.js If I copy and paste it into the browser the LOOT Report is displayed correctly. It shows the correct LOOT version 0.6.0. I have checked both paths: The first half of the LOOT Reports adress file:///G:/Programme/LOOT/resources/report/report.html leads to a report.html file I can't open wit my browser (Firefox) The second half of the LOOT report adress shows data=C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/LOOT/Skyrim/reportdata.js the content of reportdata.js is var data = {"lootVersion": "0.6.0", "masterlist": {"updaterEnabled": "Enabled", "revision": "54c66a628", "date": "2014-07-08"}, "plugins": [{"name": "Skyrim.esm", "isActive": true, "crc": "C665FD56", "isDirty": false}, {"name": "Update.esm", "isActive": true, "crc": "1FDAB215", "tagsAdd": ["Delev", "Relev"], "isDirty": false}, {"name": "Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp", "isActive": true, "crc": "29271358", "version": "Version: 2.0.5", "tagsAdd": ["Delev", "Names", "Relev", "Stats"], "isDirty": false}, {"name": "Dawnguard.esm", "isActive": true, "crc": "7A481404", "tagsAdd": ["Delev", "Relev"], "isDirty": false}, {"name": "Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp", "isActive": true, "crc": "A3FDFD8D", "version": "Version: 2.0.5", "tagsAdd": ["Delev", "Names", "Relev", "Stats"], "isDirty": false}, {"name": "HearthFires.esm", "isActive": true, "crc": "F4DDC851", "isDirty": false}, {"name": "Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp", "isActive": true, "crc": "DF1E97D", "version": "Version: 2.0.5", "tagsAdd": ["Names"], "isDirty": false}, {"name": "Dragonborn.esm", "isActive": true, "crc": "A46CA360", "isDirty": false}, {"name": "Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.esp", "isActive": true, "crc": "FB2715AC", "version": "Version: 2.0.5", "tagsAdd": ["Delev"], "isDirty": false}, {"name": "Skyrim Project Optimization - Full Version.esm", "isActive": true, "crc": "FE33A011", "isDirty": false}, {"name": "HighResTexturePack01.esp", "isActive": false, "crc": "D596F02A", "isDirty": false}, {"name": "HighResTexturePack02.esp", "isActive": false, "crc": "D596F02A", "isDirty": false}, {"name": "HighResTexturePack03.esp", "isActive": false, "crc": "D596F02A", "isDirty": false}, {"name": "Cutting Room Floor.esp", "isActive": true, "crc": "E8C12DDF", "version": "Version: 1.0.6", "isDirty": false}, {"name": "fFastTravelSpeedMult_4.esp", "isActive": true, "crc": "CC1A0B4E", "version": "Version: 1.0", "isDirty": false}, {"name": "Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp", "isActive": true, "crc": "AFACD2E9", "isDirty": false, "messages": [{"type": "say", "content": "Note: Do not clean. I can open this one without problems and here I see it's created by an older version of LOOT 0.5.0 I deinstalled 0.5.0 and installed 0.6.0 yesterday. Maybe I have done something wrong?
  22. Could someone tell how to update correctly? Should I just overwrite the .exe and the two .dll files in skyrim/ Then remove the SKSE_1.7.0 from left Mod_Organizer panel (check if it is deleted from Mod Organiser/mods/SKSE_1.7.0) and then install the new scripts archive into MO, call them SKSE_1.7.1 and activate? SKSE.ini can be left untouched, right? Mod Organiser will recognise the new .exe in the executables menu?
