Must be a noob-problem. Got exactly the same message... Here the TES5Edit bug report UPDATE: Downloaded the new TES5Edit version as FELL_MTK sugested. Now it worked. Thanks, FELL_MTK. Now that I have the new TES5Edit version I used the "Apply Filter to Show Conflict Losers" function. The left panel is full with about twenty red-marked mods. Checked a few of them: the errors are different, ranging from gold entries, weapon entries NPC entries... honestly, this is too much for me for now. How can I find out what & how to change this. Would be great to have a guide for this. Now I'll test how this new load order behaves ingame.l

Thanks for posting this, looks pretty complicated. A guide is a fine idea. I use the TES5Edit version from Nexus, only this one is linked in the STEP guide. Guess I can make an update or run a second version in MO. The way you write about it it seems very important to check for load order conflicts in TES5Edit and make patches, but it's the first time I read about it. It almost looks like a dev-thing. Maybe it should be part of STEP. I wonder what happens if I just load a STEP extendet load order an check for conflicts... theoretically everything should be fine. And cudos to all that share the knowledge here and have the patience to teach others over and over again.

Have read your post about LOOT and your workflow shedule. Very interesting for a beginner like me. I will use the script to delevel my Bashed Patch. I guess the answer to Thamantis question "Target Level"? What do I enter here?" is "1". There are some mods in STEP that need special attention by adding "LOOT meta rules" (Realistic Water Two for instance). I find this LOOT rules here on the STEP guide. But if I add "Civil War Overhaul+Requiem patches" how can I be sure such a mod does not need a LOOT meta rule? I would like to test you workflow shedule but point 6 & 7 are still new to me: TES5Edit: Load the entire load order and check for conflicts. TES5Edit: Load conflicting mods and create a patch, if necessary.I only used TES5Edit for cleaning, sorting masters and deleting masters. Guess it about right-clicking on a mod and selecting "searching for errors", but then? I'm studing the TES5Edit guide right now but maybe you could explain the two points to me... creating patches by myself... this could be a challenge to me.

Intresting. This deleveling of leveled lists is new to me, I created Bashed Patch with only "Merge Patches" and the "Leveled Lists" options. Could you just explain in a few words why it's done? Is deleveling leveled lists not the same as unchecking the "Leveled Lists" option in Wrye? If I use LOOT I never get the recommended load order as posted by azirok, or at the Requiem Pack site I allways resort LOOTS "dynamic" load order to match Smiles 44/aziroks recommendation. But Smile 44 uses BOSS for load order and you have switched to LOOT. Maybe you could tell us what to change/tweak for valid STEP-REQUIEM-LOOT load order, please? Maybe You could even help adding a LOOT-section to the Pack-site? This would be a great help as I find new things to change or tweak every day and it allways makes me scared when I find out that I play without this important patch or have not deleveled this or that...

So after loading the patch into MO I right-click it go to Information -> Optional ESP and move the Requiem - Closeface Helmet patch.esp and Requiem - DB - Closeface Helmet patch.esp up so only Requiem _ Improved Closeface Helmet Legendary.esp is active. Right? This means that if a Requiem patch includes more than one .eps: for instance the Requiem - SPTConsistentOlderPeople Patch I always chose the one that fits my original one. Requiem - SPTConsistentOlderPeople Patch includes 1. Requiem - SPTConsistentOlderPeople Patch.esp 2. Requiem - CRF - SPTOlderPeople Patch.esp 3. Requiem - SoT - SPTOlderPeople Patch.esp 4. Requiem - SPTOlderPeople All-in-one Patch.esp As I use Consistent Older People 21 All NPCs BOYD Compatible version with only SPTConsistentOlderPeople.esp I will only need 1. and hide the remaining three... Trying to understand how it works. And when updating the patches. can I just overwrite the old .esps with new ones manually or do I deactivate the old one and load the new one in MO?
-
I was about to tweak the patch today but it looks like azirok has done the work for me. Will try his new patch. The new patches for Hard Times and Dragonborn should replace the old ones, so its just delete the old patch load the new one and place it in the old ones load order I guess? Need not to merge or overwrite anything?

So it's the same work as with the EBV patch I have done recently but with this changes: 1. Open Wrye Bash and select Improved Closefaced Helmet Requiem Patch. 2. Click on the right pane and look for the Improved Closefaced Helmet.esp in the masters list. 3. Right click on Improved Closefaced Helmet.esp --> change to --> Weapons and Armor Fixes.esp) 4. Click the save button under the masters list. 5. Open theImproved Closefaced Helmet Requiem Patch in Tes5Edit, right click it, and selected Check for Errors. 6. Delete the records that have an error in them. 7. Clean Master. 8. Save Improved Closefaced Helmet Requiem Patch. 9. Rerun Tes5Edit and check for errors again. 10. Open Wrye Bash and check the Improved Closefaced Helmet Requiem Patch for missing masters. I like it all sorted

I have a problem with the Improved Closefaced Helmet Requiem Patch. When I load it MO gives a warning that it misses the imp_helm.esp & imp_helm_dawn.esp masters. This is because STEP instruction says to hide this .esp: Only the "meshes" folder from each of these files are needed, so none of the plugins from this mod should be loaded (thus, they do not have to be installed). The plugin from Weapons and Armor Fixes will be used. What should be done here?
-
Oh, just noticed it, time was short so I screwed things up. Corrected it. Thanks

Thank. Have been reading Your load order instructions now and as I'm going to change my load order once more just wanted to ask if I understand it right: I use Vilja and Civil War Overhaul. So both main mods should be loaded after Requiem and its patches and followed by their own Requiem patches, right? Like this: STEPmods Requiem.esp Requiem-Patches.esps Vilja.esp Vilja Soltsheim.esp Vilja-requiem-Patch.esp CWO.esp CWO-Requiem-Patch.esp BashedPatch.esp

Can I add this two new patches to a running game without risking any save corruption?

DROPPED Xenius Character Enhancement (by Xenius)
BUBISHI replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Don't realy know if it's related to this mod but sometimes if I load a save the face of my character is black skinned down to the collar bone. When I reload sometimes it reverts to normal skin, sometimes not. Seems like a texture is not applied properly. It seems like it's something that started later during the game, can I do something to stop it? I have read about a black-face bug in skyrim but it is NPC related and only happens when creating or altering NPC so I guess it's not this one. -
Good. Matter solved. Thank you. Must have missed the part in the STEP guide where this is said.
-
Great you archived it so easily. Took me about a week to understand how it works
-
Never. Don't even know how to get there . Suprisingly if I rebuilt my Bashed Patch, activate the .esp and start SKSE launcher fast enough there is a chance the plugin stays activated even after a restart...
-
I moved Requiem.esp to load just before the STEP patch and placed Paarthurnax Dilemma directly after it but before the STEP patch. All the Reqiem patches still load after the STEP patch... should work this way to... without editing.
-
Slllloooooowly I learn...

Whenever I try to rebuilt my Bashed Patch with this mod activated Wrye automatically deselects it from my load order and creates the Bashed Patch without it. If I try to reactivate it in my plugins panel in MO it only stays selected for a few seconds and is deselected automatically. If I open Wrye the plugin is green but has an + instead of the checked-hook. What can I do?

Seems I solved my EBV patch dillema. Here is what I have done without encountering any warnings. 1. Opened Wrye Bash and selected the STEP extended patch. 2. Clicked on the right pane and looked for the EVB in the masters list. 3. Right clicked on EVB --> change to --> select an empty esp, or at least one that doesn't contain many records (took BWS.esp) 4. Click the save button under the masters list. 5. Open the STEP extended patchin Tes5Edit, right clicked it, and selected Check for Errors. 6. Delete the records that have an error in them. This where all three lines in the Ammunition part. 7. Cleaned Master. 8. Saved STEP extended. 9. Rerun Tes5Edit and checked for errors again: no entries, so it must have worked. 10. Opened Wrye Bash and checked the STEP extended patch for missing master or EVB entries. Everything seems all right. 11. Opened Mod Organiser, right clicked the original EVB file in the left pane and selected Informations. 12. Under Optional EPSs moved the EVB.esp up. Hidding it this way. 13. Loaded the EVB Requiem Patch EPS and sorted it manually after Requiem.eps Now the dependancies in the STEP patch are gone, I use the original meshes/textures from the original EVB which is hidden now and added the patched EVB.esp after STEP extended patch and Requiem. LOOT gives no errors. Now I feel golden

I can show you how I have done it:
-
There is a recommendation for LOOT user in the Guide Pack:Requiem Take the recommended load order from this wiki page, that's what I did. Thanks for the link.

I will be of not much help to you but I have one question: Where have you got the "Paarthrnax Dilemma Requiem Patch" from? Can't find it anywhere... Maybe one: If using LOOT try to sort all Requiem mods after STEP Extended Patch and before STEP Pack Requiem Patch. Do this manualy after you have run LOOT. The STEP Pack Requiem Patch creator, Smile44, told me it was old now and you don't need it if you load all Requiem mods after all STEP extended mods.

Goog luck with your move, have moved home two months ago and know how much things must be cared about. Yes, I wanted to give BOSS a try but also wanted to play the game a bit, as I never left Whiterun-testing-grounds. My first character reached lvl 9 yesterday but then I got problems with Skyrim Immersive Creatures, deinstalled it and started a new playthrough. If I find some patience and time I will take a try on the EBV plugin. Wonder if the most simple solution would work. Just replacing the original .esp with the Requiem patched one, as they even share the same name... If not I'll try to erase the dependancy from the STEP patch... can't be that difficult.

I'm afraid you take me for a fool, but I still can't solve the EVB patch load order... Before I start I have this mod prority and load order in Mod Organizer: Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmDragonborn.esm ...Explosive Bolts Visualized (non patched)Explosive Bolts Visualized HD Textures ...STEPextended PatchRequiemBashed PatchIf I got you right I should change it this way: First I change the priority in the left pane Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmDawnguard.esmDragonborn.esm...Requiem...Explosive Bolts Visualized (non patched)<-- now has a hidden .espExplosive Bolts Visualized HD TexturesExplosive Bolts Visualized Requiem patch...STEPextended PatchBashed PatchIf I try to rerun LOOT now it can't finish sorting load order because of the circular dependency loop...
