This thread is redundant. please use the folowing links to read up on how to use the STEP wiki or where to post ideas, concerns, suggestions, etc. STEP Wiki Guide Discussion Thread I was thinking back to when I wanted to start my guide and I remembered how difficult it was to get started because I had no idea what I was doing and I didn't know where to look for info. I remember instructing others on this very matter and they seemed grateful that I helped them out. That why I am asking, what about a wiki guide? I was thinking something along the lines of a "crash course" short guide or something that has a lot of info and can be used as a resourceWhat is the markup used (html, MW, css)Where to find infoBasic stuffWYSIWYGDos and don'tsHeadersImagesTablesIntermediate StuffFormattingTemplatescssSpecial StuffUseful StuffIs there anything that is missing from the list? Please share your thoughts on this even if you have zero interest in writing something for the wiki...

Enb includes ENBoost making what I have previously stated still valid. Does disabling it do anything to performance? I think its a driver issue because for me I can run a heavy enb and it'll have little to no effect on fps. I really doubt it. I previously modded my game and I had way more scripted mods than you can think of and it ran just fine other than maxing out on VRAM causing macro stutter 1+ sec I think its something along the lines of AMD being well AMD Like I previously had requested, what driver version are you using?
-
well, not even I can help you with that one because I have the same issues and have no idea how to fix it. Maybe you can help me out in working for a solution or maybe someone knows the secret. Even vanilla and no enb I get something like 45fps at riverwood. with some mods I get like 35 fps... Oh, I should mention it doesn't matter if I am using multicard or singe card. The fps are about the same. I have 6970 CF Which version of the drivers are you using? Have you tried disabling ENB (moving the d3d9 dll to the desktop)?

I found with SRLE its tricky and you have to use low res stuff if you have the option otherwise I found its best to just leave it out. Like the skin textures. The armors are fine. I would encourage to think about where the texture is at and the possible effects. like caves are pretty safe at 2k but landscapes should probably stick with 1k Just try things and keep a lookout for your VRAM

Wondering if MEM patch is working correctly
hishutup replied to Quahogs's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I thought we were talking about ssme/memory patch 3.0.... Enbboost is men patch 2.0... And it doesn't mess with blocks 1 and blocks 2 inside the ram -
Wondering if MEM patch is working correctly
hishutup replied to Quahogs's question in General Skyrim LE Support
really because I know the way it is supposed to work is that it'll just create another block 2 but I have seen multiple instances myself were it'll CTD right after hitting 255. I even compared it with the time and it was really close. I have never needed to raise block 1 beyond a value of 512 MB... I remember looking for info a while back on that and there was little info other than that really large thread. I just know that there were a few sets of ini setting going around. the common 768|256 another version 1024|256 and a really heavily modded version 1024|512 I have found that it is best to leave it at the default values of 768|256 but I haven't come across any harm or 768|512 -

the mem patch is working like it should. You are getting close to needing to raise the values for block 2 tho -
Uh... Never use quicksaves or any sort of autosave for bethesda games... they ruin saves use a good ol fashioned regular save That is another issue... Im surprised to made it this far without have unfixable issues I am hoping you remade the the dynamic patches... reproccer is one.

oops, I drifted to AA and AF. I'll fix that. What? It happens :P

If you set it to always off then it is going to remove any form of vsync because it is a wrapper. IDK if there is a difference in the way the injector and wrapper versions and how they are handled but I am going to assume that they are. If you leave it on application controlled and if you have it turned on via enblocal then it should only use the enb version I think someone else that also had nVidia had an issues where if it was set to always off it would disable the effect. Yes, I am also an amd user but I remember this being something that happens but my memory is with AA and AF, not Vsync at this point. I could also be crazy but I am positive that it was a thing at some point but lately I have not tried it.

GUIDE Mythic Dawn: Gateway to Oblivion WIP
hishutup replied to hishutup's topic in Oblivion - Mythic Dawn
Hmm its being awhile since I payed attention to this monster... Its fine. Yes, it is annoying and if you want to get rid of it then just drag your inis out of the folder and let it regen them. After that just copy them back over and it should leave you alone. If you can, I want you to give me updates as you play through it. Just create a new topic and you can have it all to yourself. I want this because I want to know of any issues, things that are annoying, etc. Really anything that you can think of, any info is appreciated. just keep it spoiler free because I have not played it myself. If you must reveal a spoiler then just place it in a spoiler tag like such:

Text
-
the log you shared says it all. Those < Error: Could not be resolved > should not be there except in very few circumstances I'll explain it better tomorrow since it is late but he is what I remember off the top of my head go to Pre ReProccer WAFR IA7 IW Patch.esp and look for 280230AE - IAShamanHelm look at the records and find the < Error: Could not be resolved > drag the record from one column to the left and drop it on the < Error: Could not be resolved > then on Pre ReProccer WAFR IA7 IW Patch.esp check for errors and now there shouldn't be any should be any Ignore this If that doesn't solve it then we can explore other things but I am 90% sure that was the issue.

pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
hishutup replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
there are some patches for mods. They should start to be mentioned on the mod support topic that I had mentioned and that was the reason that I had linked it. -
well, found the problem. delete DynamicLoot_ImmersiveArmors&Weapons.esp and the crashes should disappear EDIT there is one issue with Pre ReProccer WAFR IA7 IW Patch.esp look at it in tes5 and then either fix the error or delete the record from that esp
-
why would November 11th have any significance?
-
hmm... the Skyrim.ini looks interesting delete it then regen it. Open tes5edit and click ok after the background loader is finished then select all of the plugins starting from Skyrim Project Optimization - Full Version.esm then right click check for errors. If you can provide the copy/paste all of the errors that would be great. Im thinking its something with skyre but I could be incorrect. Your load order is manageable and someone should be able to find a solution.
