  1. huh, do you mind sharing your Load Order.
  2. actually, I would argue because most of that stuff is dynamic patchers including FNIS So, its kinda where they should be because well Dynamic patches should almost always override. and logs are well logs, they are overwritten ingame so it doesn't matter Like I said, its just another mod folder but I forgot to mention that it is special because its where everything can get dumped while the VFS is happening but I dont see the harm in keeping the dynamically generated files in there EDIT: well, I was looking a some documentation and I talked to a few people and it seems that it is a good idea to keep it clean but I never had any noticeable issues. Just move the files to their respective folders and every time you regen the patches the files will stay in the same place
  3. its basically another mod folder... It really doesnt matter mine looks worse but as long as you know where the files are coming from its no big deal I didn't even look at the pic and now that I did it looks just fine to me... Ok so the Tools, scripts, meshes folders are from FNIS for sure The skyproc patchers folder is likely just generated logs or a temporary folder The SKSE/Chargen is from a saved profile from racemenu the esps are just the dynamic patches... It looks just fine to me so theres no need to make a super big deal about it... I think STEP has you move more of those folders/files to different mod folders
  4. its only if you have the traps are dangerous esp in you loadorder
  5. yea, pretty much make sure you have the directory set to that particular folder otherwise it'll optimize everything and you do not want that but I dont thing that you need to optimize them...
  6. EDIT: I failed to look at the pic there is an update in post #4
  7. In response to dreadflopp If you get rid of foot prints then you should be golden but I could be wrong... It was my issues on my system But before you do that can you test this out try increasing the papyrus stuff from 1.2 to 1.4 If it still have issues increases then to 20 leave the other values at default This is from some pretty big authors so it's up to you... Step generally will say do not touch that stuff but hey nothing wrong with an isolated test I could be wrong in thinking that the sites are in these authors words which would make these sites. Its somewhat unclear even the sites claim that these are controversial Chesko - about halfway down the page Crushboss and tonycubed2 acknowledges Chesko's and ewis suggestions If you do not feel safe in doing so then don't but I figure I might as well bring these up with some sources :/
  8. No problem mate I may go through his page an make various edits or add notes and kinda bring it up to date But it's not something that I want to spend a lot of time on
  9. that will likely be changed soon I seriously doubt that Bethesda will update it anymore... So there is no need to worry about it
  10. Awhile back I had high latencys can be connected to footprints and enb No if they are directly related, idk but I figured might as well mention it
  11. I think mjb includes her own patch so check that first... There is one character that had their formid changed which broke some stuff. It's a good plugin to practice manually fixing the issue And if it's the fix is good to use... You are just doing something wrong because you have to look down the records on that formid and fix other things Just use your brain and it should all go well If you can't fix it then I'll post a link to the one I did ages ago
  12. Maybe it'll be beneficial if you ask precisely what you want tested so that a conclusion can be found using the community like in this case: hardware requirement: AMD/nVidia gpu Any load order (doesn't matter which mods are used) minimum: ENBoost inis not needed iPresentInterval=(1/0) enblocal.ini Vsync=(true/false) driver Vsync setting (app controlled/always off) If you want something (re)tested just ask and try to account for all the variables for each person. Id even do a quick test like that... It takes what 10 minutes but in this case there is only 7 combinations
  13. The whole C.* thats C Bash... I think it was planned to be added but then well WB for Skyrim kinda died early on If you are wondering C bash is, its a different method of patching and is only available for Oblivion by my understanding. The others like Graphics and whatnot are also part of Oblivion's WB and maybe wrye flash for FNV and FO3 Overall, just ignore them at this point and worry about the ones that you can add Off topic but... Take a look at this
  14. phazer11 your version of reasonable is what? 100? which is insane. I use max 30 and I do fine with 8GB Off topic, indeed.
  15. thats strange and does not make sense but I guess it worked for you... I guess it "bethesda weirdness" is still a thing If you use an OC that could definitely be the cause
  16. right click on the bsa and select extract navigate to the respective mod folder
  17. Fps limiter in enb maybe... Turn it off Sometimes my gpu won't get out of the middle power lever. Maybe restart pc
  18. I'm almost positive that they were retextures/remesh of vanilla but look way better I may be incorrect though
  19. Well you can but you kinda have to be smart about things. You can merge a ton of stuff correctly and I am curious about his issue I take a look into it later At this point in time I am on my phone so, not the best time for a checklist...
  20. Oh come on tech, join the bandwagon... we got cake and wine, lots of wine XD
  21. are there any masters between the mods that you are merging If so place that block of mods at the very end of the LO and then merge them with the default settings
  22. My guess its what tech said... It happens with some ENB profiles and especially with fog present
  23. use memoryblockslog and share your memoryblockslog.log when you crash
  24. that still doesnt do it... there could be an error for a spawn or a lvled list and you would never know
