GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
Nozzer66 replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
Reactivate them. -
That's one that has the No Merge tag. it's usual to have to retick that one after building the bashed patch. :)

Do you have the 357 magnum retextured mod as well as Millenia's weapons retex project?

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Gamwich is at it again: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68561/? Rustic Word Walls and https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68493/? Rustic Standing Stones -
It's pretty standard to not do it to the bigger ones. I never extract Spice of Life's bsa, or Willow's bsa. Though with the newer versions of MO bsa's are not an issue any more.

Was Skyrim Realistic Overhaul all that?
Nozzer66 replied to Thick8's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Or do what I did the one time. Torrent it the once. Delete all the torrent stuff and give your machine a through scrubbing. Then save SRO somewhere. I've also done this with KS hairstyles and SG Hairstyles. Save running around sketchy sites. -
Unfortunately when I see video guides, I pretty much cringe and walk away. I find it about 900 times easier to see things written down. When I stumbled across STEP a while ago, the first thing I did was read the guide numerous times, check out info on the tools I was going to have to use, and set aside a full weekend. Unfortunately there's no real way to make things quicker aside from being 100% confident you know what you need to do before you even try it.

Nope.

Yep, as a Maximus VI Hero user I have no hesitation in recommending it, either.

Greg speaks the truth. That is a very good Mobo, especially if you happen to be gaming in hot, humid Aussie summers. Though I'm not an ASRock user, all the reviews I've seen on the board you've gone with are minimum 4 star, so it's likely to do the job OK. :)

pack A Real Explorer's Guide to Skyrim

If you need a hand at all CJ, tap me on the shoulder. -
You might have mentioned that from the start, rather than assume I or anyone else that helped you knew that. Might have come in handy, maybe? Double check your LOOT's pointing to the correct Skyrim install path and that your MO executable is pointing to the right place first.

You don't need to. It only does it to mods that have no specific dependency in the Masterlist or via user defined rules.
-
Yes, it's well known that it will put mods that do not have a specific dependency in alphabetical order. This is not unexpected behavior.

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - pre 2.xx
Nozzer66 replied to sheson's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
512 would be plenty. 256 if you can manage it. -
I don't think Cortana works in down back country Australia...

Good idea. Forgot about that.

Have 10 up and going now. I don't like the black task bar that comes as default, so that's going to change. But no complaints so far aside from one small driver issue that was my own silly fault for not resetting my modem and router after all had been done. EDIT: Just on first look, things do seem to be 'quicker' ie everything like dumping the recycle bin, mouse control etc, all seems quicker and crisper, though that MAY just be cause I am wanting it to be...

SKYRIMLE Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim (by Enai Siaion)
Nozzer66 replied to MysticDaedra's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Well whoever it was was presumably referring to the post made by TechAngel, who is staff, where he critiqued several of the perks. Unless 'snoozyboy' decides to say who he is registered as here I seriously doubt he could be said to be the STEP staff mouthpiece. -

Not sure who the snoozyboy who made that comment on your forum is. Checking the member list shows there's no-one called snoozyboy registered. Of course he could use a different name here. Anyway, Enai, I'm fully intending on giving this a test run. Anything I find I'll report on and let you know. -
SKYRIMLE Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim (by Enai Siaion)
Nozzer66 replied to MysticDaedra's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Hmmm, Bugger. Well as it happens I'm in the process of doing a whole new mod list from fresh sheet of paper, SR:LE, REGS and was going to do Perma again, but might try Ordinator instead and see what comes of it. Give SR:LE has a few difficulty raising mods like OBIS and High Level Enemies in it already, Ordinator should fit in nicely. -
CTD on Loading Game Skyrim Revisited + REGS + Perma

I tell a lie; I run 1024 and 384 as the numbers in my SKSE.ini. Still don't see any CTD's. -

Looks interesting. Where'd the part that T3nd0 isn't doing any more updates to Perma come from, though? -
CTD on Loading Game Skyrim Revisited + REGS + Perma
Nozzer66 replied to zielakxar's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
The first block is limited to 512 cause the 768 is the total amount of memory you've allocated. You have to take the scrap heap off that so 768-256=512. So that suggests the SKSE.ini is being seen by the game OK. With 16 Gig of RAm and 3 Gig of card RAM, you could try maybe upping the VideoMemorySizeMB noticeably. Try something like 8192 or 6144. Change the SKSE.ini 768 to 1024 and change the ReservedMemorySizeMB to 512 or there abouts. I have 16 Gig of Ram and 3 Gig of Vram on my machine and I run VideoMemorySizeMB of 8192 and have room for more if needed. I also run the SKSE numbers as 1024 and 256 with no issues.
