  1. I have that mod and I don't see Veteran Rangers everywhere.
  2. I'd give you my load order but I don't run STEP Extended. I could possibly knock it together over the next 24 hours or so, and post it for you. EDIT: If you put the mods in the order that STEP suggests, ie the order they come in on the guide, you're pretty much right. Add all the needed LOOT rules, run LOOT and then the patchers. You'll be fine. The way I do it is do each section, check that there's no missing masters, if there is, then check to make sure the missing master isn't installed later in the guide. If it is, just untick the one that's at fault, run the game and see what things look like. Take your time. Be painstaking, and double check everything. You'll be fine.
  3. Nope, you should be able to drag and drop anything that's out of order in the left pane back into it's desired place fine. LOOT should sort out the right pane.
  4. He's asking for the contents of the file TES5Edit_log.txt . Either by a file you attach to a post or by posting the contents inside spoiler tags.
  5. Ok. You need to be methodical here. Add as many of the STEP mods you're going to add first. Then add anything non STEP you're looking at after that. Go back and add any needed compatibility things you wish/need to use if you've not added them already. If you're not using the full STEP Extended, then you'll need to choose the correct STEP patch to fit your situation. The page on the guide shows you how to do this. Then shove the whole load order through TESVEdit and have a quick peek to see if there's anything showing up as conflicting. Feel free to come in here and ask if you're not 100% sure. Then do the Bashed patch, which I wouldn't run without on any large mods list. Follow that up with all the other patches like DynDOLOD, Dual Sheath and so on as well as anything else you've added. Jump in game and make a throwaway character. Use a few coc console commands to run around the map quickly and see if anything looks awry. You're looking for things like missing textures, general missing things, overlapping things cause of two mods shoving stuff in the same place, etc. The MFG Console mod can help here as if you find something that looks dodgy clicking on it in the console can tell you what mod adds it and other things about it. Fix any issues by making your own patch or altering load orders, ensuring BSA's are ticked etc. Once you're happy, fire up, make your desired char and hack away. I'd suggest any issues you do find will likely be with mods added on top of STEP. Look at those ones first.
  6. That can't be you. You're Tasmanian. You should have two heads.
  7. And hence me saying trying to do some pre-reading and check everything. Thanks.
  8. I think the solution is to read more and do some research on what you're trying to use.
  9. We've all been there, believe me... Have a plus vote for admitting it :)
  10. Have you added the fix file for FNIS?
  11. It's Neovalen, not Dragon King.
  12. He's using Wrye Bash, not MO. EDIT: Or that's what I'd been led to believe, anyway. Seems this is incorrect.
  13. Yeah what Pretendeavour says. Nothing really earth shattering.
  14. Yep. Works quite nicely.
  15. Both the options under the first subheading in your screenie.
  16. Supposed to be, but there's things out there still needing older versions of NET. I myself had to get back in and reactivate 3.5 for some things to work after updating to 4.5.x.
  17. You're not using MO, are you? If you were you could unpack the BSA and hide the offending file.
  18. Are you referring to MO saying there's a possible Mod Order problem and you should move mods to fix it? If so there's been discussion on that feature before. STEP usually recommends to ignore it, as they've tested their suggested order to ensure all works. MO's creator Tannin has a dissenting view. What you should do is follow the STEP guide, and then use LOOT. It's then on you as to whether you do what MO suggests to do or not. If STEP's order works for you, then fine, ignore MO. If you do what MO suggests and has it fix things, that should work as well. The take home point is there's two ways to go. 1) Follow STEP and don't worry about MO's suggestions. 2) Follow STEP and then do what MO suggests. I've tried both and haven't seen any glaring issues either way so it's a judgement call.
  19. That will almost certainly be your issue. When you install 4.5.x, whether via Windows 10 or just installing to any other version of Windows, it'll turn 3.5 off. And you still need 3.5. Found this out the hard way myself.
  20. Also note it's possible to run ENBoost without using an ENB.
  21. Not while they're tagged No Merge there isn't.
  22. Have you recently updated to Version 4.5.x of Microsoft's .NET Framework?
  23. If it's an ESP you MAY use later, just hide it. If nothing else it makes everything look cleaner.
  24. You might be right on that, but just mentioning the new mod is all. :)
