  1. And naturally, I don't care about you, random spambot. What's an ugg boot anyway? Wait... I'm not talking about you, Kelmych! But someone that was here.... I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!
  2. Actually, it was removed. Too many conflicts, and the implementation wasn't that stellar. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Discussion thread: Point The Way by Arthmoor Wiki Link Bethsoft thread. Adds road signs to places that needed them, like major intersections or places that didn't have enough signs. This also adds signs that point to the smaller villages (not in the vanilla game), and fixes a few issues with signs pointing the wrong way. If that wasn't enough for you, then this mod was created by none other than Arthmoor himself. Looks really promising. And if you are going to ask about mod conflicts - they aren't likely, as this mod simply places world objects (unless one overlaps another). I'd recommend this for STEP, personally.
  4. I've just looked into it. It's co authored by Brumbek of SMIM fame, so that's a good start. Does need a BAIN wizard for the convience of the Wrye Bash users. Additionally, it overwrites a *lot* of facegeom meshes, so that will have to be takein in consideration with the mod.
  5. I would agree that it's not a huge deal - and it would be something I can't fix, short of shortening the misc quest descriptions (not really deseriable) or hacking the quest screen to properly space out quest objectives. (which I really can't do, because I don't really know how to use Flash or a decompiler)
  6. Uploaded a updated BCF for 6.0.0. I'll get to work on revising the installers for the Skill Interface mod later.
  7. *laughs* Who needs 4k textures for anything but powered armor (or other textures around the same detail level)? In fact, who needs 8k textures for anything, unless the game is TES XII, or Crysis 10, or something like that. People and their skewed priorities...
  8. One more update: Hearthfire Plugin! It's a start for the DLC's that I'm going to cover. It improves the location objectives of the Hearthfire buildiable home quests to be clearer as to where you are supposed to go. Probably should be used for Hearthfire users, I think.
  9. Looks nice, but I'd like to see what it's doing under the hood. Sure, I could try decompiling it, but that's not the best way to go about it. Also, wondering if this would still work under Skyrim 1.9, or if it needs to be updated (like ShadeMe's skse plugins) But yea, guess this means you can add back ApachiHair into your guide, Neovalen.
  10. You don't need 1.2.3 at all, because it does not update any of the used files. Just install 1.2.2. Also, Neovalen is currently not using 2.0 because it's a major update from the past versions. He's currently picking and choosing which works the best with SRO, among other things. Neo would probably know more than I do about the SHD 2.0 progress, however.
  11. Well, the mod's been updated to fix a newfound issue with the Dawnguard plugin (also a issue with the Dawnguard ESM), and upload two more compatibility patches - one of which is for The Choice Is Yours. I am seriously considering making an installer for this mod, because of the numerous compatibility patches.
  12. (Finally) updated to 6.0 with new options and whatnot. I'll go and update the Wyre Bash installer for 6.0, and see if I can't get the author to integrate it directly into his archive. Also, may as well make a combined version for ease of download.
  13. I'm going to agree with kryptopyr after reading his post - nude mods for the sake of realism is a pretty poor excuse. Mods that make bodies better formed without making them nude, mods that give realistic variation in body shape (like VaderApp's Realistic Body System patcher and his similar VORB for Oblivion), those could work in STEP. Now, if only someone would make and refine one of those bodies....
  14. Well, given the rating in the USA and elsewhere, nudity isn't much of a concern. Well, except for taste. Ideally, there should be something like The Girl Next Door (TGND) body for Oblivion - a body based off one of the popular body mods (preferably UNP), but with realistic proportions. That would be ideal. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Actually, the author has made a update to the mod to make it compatible with the unofficial patches. I offered to help him revise the mod, but it appeared to be misconstrued (I cleared it up) - even then, I'm probably going to wait before I do so.
  16. Actually, I happen to come from a expansive online roleplaying community. RPG Crossing (formerly DND Online Games), to be more specific. It's a community built on Play by Post (running tabletop games via forum posting), and it's really fun (gets my recommendation). Haven't tried anything else yet. But maybe Elder Scrolls online would be fun.
  17. Well.. the author has released a new version of his mod - apparently, it includes new textures and a ESP (for a horse saddle, I presume?). It also includes a Wrye Bash wizard, however, the author has heavily (and I do mean heavily) modfied it from my original version. There's also a classic version, which is basically the v1.02 version with the wizard installed (and slightly dodgy packing), for those who like the old mod as is. I'll probally discuss with the author about revising the installers to be clearer (as is, both are not very clear)
  18. I made a long post on the mod page detailing the issues. The idea is good, but the execution is horrid. If I were the author, I would remake the mod completely from scratch with modern modding tools.
  19. Apparently, the author of this mod and I have gotten into a argument related to this mod. Apparently, some user is having a issue with the game crashing with both the mod and the unofficial patches. The author points the finger at the unofficial patches, but I am pointing it at the mod. I recommend not using this mod until the issues have been fixed. EDIT: In fact, don't use this mod at all unless you are prepared to make a lot (and I mean a *lot*) of fixes. There's arleady Papyrus log spam even three minutes into the game. I'd kill it. Kill it with fire. It's that bad.
  20. If you are going to create a NMM installer - then I would go and create a Wrye Bash wizard to go along with it. Show me the archive when you've completed the NMM installer, and I'll work on the Bash wizard.
  21. Hello, Benjamin. Again, if you want to have the gold plated Mod Author nameplate, PM Farlo on the Nexus. One thing that might be worth pointing out is that you should as a general rule use 2048x2048 texture sizes as a maximum - anything above that isn't really worth the extra VRAM usage (unless you are talking about really intreciate designs like powered armor, but that's not going to be very often.) Just pointing that out.
  22. Well, even through I am *not* a texture artist, I am a semi-pro photographer, and I know my way around Photoshop. I can at least tone down the brightness of the metal parts to make it appear more like tarnished bronze - do remember a technique for dodging without destroying the original image data, or in this case, texture. Also, 4k textures, so remember to DDSopt them back down to 2k. Also, some textures are (mistakinly) saved as DX5 when they don't have a alpha.
  23. You mean the one that I made a few days ago that I've already mentioned when I brought up this mod? Right? Probably going to make a 1K version also, and show it to the author.
