  1. I don't have immersive creatures installed. Just STEP. I have yet to set up my 2.2.9 profile for testing. I'll have to try to do that tomorrow.
  2. At this point with amulets released, there is no reason to NOT accept this mod into STEP. Marked as Accepted for 2.2.9 This will completely replace Jewels of the Nord, if I'm not mistaken.
  3. I know we're aiming for vanilla armor compatibility. I did want to point out those armors though because they are very nice for anyone looking for something like that.
  4. You talk too much? 3700+ here. lol
  5. CBBE will most likely not be implemented due to armor compatibility. We're currently looking at options for a female replacer that will work with all vanilla armors and clothing. It looks like CNHF 2.5 will be the first one we're going to test for that. Right now we're just testing for vanilla compatibility. Then we'll move on to skin textures. One "step" at a time. As for EEO, I personally will probably use it on my personal install; however, it's probably not for STEP. I usually play Elves in these types of game but never have in Skyrim due to their appearance. Personally, I think Eleven folk should be very fair and beautiful. This is how the mast majority of lore describes the Eleven race. Bethesda has made them old and ugly! Not at all how I picture Eleven folk. If I could find Elder Scroll lore to support EEO, I'd advocate it.
  6. I tested this and there is a drop. My lowest point was 35FPS with Bleakfalls in view...60 when it was not. I don't think there is a way around this one. The campfires we can just not use that ESP for now. This one is in one of the main files I think. Minor if it's the only place. Will most definitely be marking this as a performance heavy mod and those with systems that can't handle it. If it's too much of an issue with just Bleakfalls, then we might be able to find that mesh and disable it for the install instructions. That'll probably be an "after-release" change so more people can test.
  7. I agree. I start cursing when I forget to disable it before taking compares because if I don't it would take all day to take a series of compare shots. So I have to get back out of the game, disable it and load everything back up. Annoying!
  8. I agree and was already planning to start testing this one. That's basically my understanding of it as well. The author's reply on the matter of vanilla compatibility wasn't straightforward and I didn't press it past his first reply. It sounds as if CNHF is compatible with vanilla, but "could" work with UNP. We don't want the UNP armors anyway. On that topic, the CNHF author has created some armor replacements; however, they aren't really for compatiblity as I understand it, but more for making them more properly for women. Meaning it's not an armor clearly made for a man with breast simply painted over the armor. These armors actually look quite good too! See there here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34213/
  9. Mature Skin UNP Base Texture only >>> Normal Map + Texture Have to head to work. Will be back this evening. Test on your own until then!
  10. I tried the UNP base (says it requires DIMONIZED UNP female body mod when downloading). It only loaded the face textures and caused neck seams on Vanilla, STEP and Prometheus. I didn't try for CNHF or UNP at that point since three out of 5 compares couldn't use it. I can try it on CNHF and UNP if desired. Mature Skin has UNP, CBBE and ADEC bases. Didn't try on UNP since others couldn't use. I'll test this real quickly before I have to leave for work.
  11. Sounds like a good medium.
  12. OP updated with proper compares. The skin didn't work without seems so I stuck with the defaults for each mod. I also removed CNHF 1.0 from the compares as it was simply as older version of CNHF. All compare now are in STEP:Core with XPMS and FNIS activated.
  13. I needs to be put into the the ENB Guide. I'll be putting it into the mod page for ENBoost for sure.
  14. Ok, I resolved the issue. If you run into this, here's what to do: Your system is trying to run a game that is meant for older DirectX versions than what you have installed. To correct this you'll need some components of previous DirectX versions; however, you can't simply download and install the previous version and you should NEVER simply download the missing DLL files from a site and copy them into Windows. To get these older files you'll need to download DirectX End-User Runtime. This will give you the files you need to run older games. Even though Skyrim was working fine without it, attempting to use an ENB caused errors. Installing this should resolve your DLL errors when you run into a similar situation.
  15. I've been trying to get an ENB, any ENB to work on my system but nothing is working. The Wrapper version doesn't work. MO just sits there and does nothing when launching the game. Launching via the game launcher will give you an error that your missing the d3dx9_43.dll (removing d3d9.dll will fix this and the game launches). I attempted to rename the d3d9.dll to d3dx9_43.dll but that didn't work. I then kept the renamed file and included the d3d9.dll file...same result as having just the d3d9.dll file as above. Attempting the injector version does nothing as well. The game launches; however, no matter what I do I never get the ENB settings. It's possible I didn't set up the injector version correctly because I've never had to use it before but I'm fairly possible it did all that it needed. This is true for ENBoost and ENB presets. At a loss here. Any idea or anyone experiencing the same thing with Windows 8.1 and the newest Update. System: Windows 8.1 Update 1 x64 ENB version 2.52 Graphics Drivers: nvidia 335.23
  16. I'm not saying it's definitely your CPU, but it could play a part. Plenty of people bought those CPUs for gaming machines when they're really optimized for server use.
  17. Yeah, I can confirm CJ. If you disable again, can you edit the merge feature so it puts in a HR tag above the merged post like it did on the old forum? Can't tell you how many times I've had to go back and edit my posts because the feature merges the posts by putting the merged post directly below the first without any spacing or anything to separate the two.
  18. Depends how you look at it: https://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-980X-vs-Intel-Core-i5-4670K Here's how the i7-4770K stacks up: https://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-980X-vs-Intel-Core-i7-4770K
  19. Ran into an issue. When you post two times in a row quoting a separate post in each reply you receive a big fat warning that you've exceeded the maximum quote allowance because of the forum attempting to merge your second post into your first.
  20. Your CPU could be the cause. See here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/4770-nvidia-33750-beta-drivers/?p=77188 My specs are just below yours (see my signature) so it's either your hardware (CPU?) or some other factor you have in your install (like greater texture resolution than STEP Baselines). At the lowest point (in the swamps) my FPS only fell to 39 for a split second and averaged 48 FPS; whereas, without it I was running 50FPS in the swamps with the lowest point being 40FPS...so only a 2FPS drop. Here is the effect that some are experiencing with Campfires:
  21. I concur with William. Unless you have programs that take advantage of the features of an i7 (adobe photoshop, adobe premiere, etc) then the i7 isn't really worth it. The i5-4670K will save your around $100 and it can be overclocked nicely with the proper cooling.
  22. Confirmed. Deactive the SDO - Full-LOD - Giant Campfires.esp We'll not be using that one for STEP. EDIT: Reported to author.
  23. Just tested and you are correct. I was unaware of this. I'll redo the shots for each in Core rather than vanilla and this time have XPMS and FNIS active in all. It might be a day or so. Would you like me to go ahead and use a 3rd party skin just for testing so the skin matches on each?
  24. I used Neo's; however, the more vanilla friendly ones would be: Static Breasts >> SFW or Nevernude >> SFW >> Skin Textures (we'd probably replace this) >> Core Files >> Install (that underwear needs to be replaced too) Neo's options add bouncing breasts and more cleavage. Regardless, the body size remains the same so you'll end up with shorter more petite females than vanilla no matter the path. This is probably why most UNP bodies require UNP armor replacements to keep compatibility with armors and clothes.
  25. I agree. A 2-tier would be good; however, I don't know if it's possible to control it on that level. It might simply be an on/off switch.
