  1. Where is that at? I don't believe I've ever seen that location before. Also, is this just the time of day/clear day or they that shiny most of the day and even on overcast days? Just wondering if it's lighting specific.
  2. That would be okay but it has to be below SMIM for conflicts. For PMOP...that's another story.
  3. I have to say I prefer the vanilla option in all the compares. I didn't realize our Frost Atronarch looked like that....that needs to go, imo. You need to add in Ren's mod into the compare since it's in testing: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/3958-badasstronachs-by-ren-enhanced-atronachs-by-rengel/
  4. I'm thinking the same line as DY. Core is VERY strict about what can be added and just from a replacer standpoint, this is outside of the Core Mandate.
  5. If there is a glitch on the transparent version we should use the solid version.
  6. I'm with DY here. I could never get used the the affect this mod has. It does add a "slide" to movement and when you come to a stop. It also make you feel like you're "gliding" when jumping off small cliffs. The running also feels restrictive. Do not like. I'm saying "no".
  7. Sounds good. When I did my testing of Tannin's BSA plugin auto-sorting, this actually ended up in my Landscape section. LOL
  8. It seems Isuko has basically just copied the text from the UESP on his notes for the holidays. As for the decorations, Isoku seems to have taken creative liberty there. There are no mention of decorations or fireworks in the lore. I can also think of a few improvements to better match the lore like free ale on the day of New Life Festival, Harvest's End and Old Life Festival. Jesters day has been taken a little too literately by dressing up NPCs in jester outfits when the lore says it's a day of pranking others, not dressing up and dancing as what happens in-game. Armors and magical items should also be set at half price during certain days according to lore that aren't set by Isoku (according to documentation by Isuko).
  9. Honestly, I can't tell a difference.
  10. Add whatever mods you feel are worthy of being tested. Testing is open to add new mods until next Wednesday (we've opened it for a week). So mind the Mandates and add if you feel it should be tested.
  11. Sooo... I'm not understand I guess. Is this being added to the UPs?
  12. Not Accepted. We've going with Gemilng's Claws over this one. Moved out of testing.
  13. Someone accepted this without posting it as Accepted so I'm doing that now... Accepted for STEP Core. Mod page and boilerplate needs to be setup. Then get it added to the 2.2.9 Guide.
  14. Thanks for the info! We'll take that into consideration.
  15. This will have to be put into a profile and just played with it active for some time to truly test it. Personally, I've always felt these "holiday" mods to be a bit gimmicky; however, if the actual lore behind it can be confirmed I'll give it a consideration as long as there isn't anything from "our time" that as been plugged in for no reason.
  16. Really? Wouldn't damp climite translate to more worn...? Cabal's texture lack most wear and tear. Just look at those roofs! They look like they've never seen rainfall. All that you all said says that Rustic should look the best (logically). Edit: But yest, I do plan on taking these texture for a scroll. Might be a bit though. I do have a full-time job.
  17. It doesn't actually and there are tons of mods out there that make Skyrim look new and shiny; however, in the spirit of keeping with the original concept of the game and its design, STEP tends to stay away from new and shiny by only enhancing the original concepts; not change them. Rustic and worn is a large part of such concepts.
  18. Either way, I'm fine with this mod. I think we'll need Z's feelings on this before we decide Core or Extended tho.
  19. This is one of those mods that is going to require running around in-game for a while with different one activated to see how the look and blend in before deciding. The reason have yet to like CaBaL's textures for these in the shots, is because he seems to have taken a "nicer/newer" artist approach which is rather contrary to most of the Skyrim environment. His textures are good. I'm just not convinced they fit into the "rustic" (see what I did there ) environment.
  20. I honestly think this has been in testing so long it just needs to be added. I don't even remember why it wasn't been it. I say figure out which version we want to use for STEP and toss it into Extended.
  21. Some of the features sounds nice, but it is really worth it? I don't use any of them but the Alt+Tab and that isn't really an issue for me either. I honestly don't think this is worth it. (At least not for me)
  22. There are other mods that overwrite this and that. It just needs to state "STEP" so we know if that is the case. Still needs vanilla. I'm torn between Rustic and SRO on these. Rustic is mainly a slightly darker look than SRO. SRO used vanilla as a base so I'm sure Gamwich did the same. Rustic is darker and sharper than SRO. I feel that Rustic is a tad more realistic feeling. The darker appearance makes the building look more weather as wood buildings should be that don't have the sealants that today's wood has. Really need vanilla to compare against.
