Guys, please remember to update the OP when you accept mods so I and the other users can keep track of what goes on when we're away.
-
So lets add this mod with Gamwich's box since that is the most popular choice. I like SRB's idea of 1K for the helmet to match the rest of the armors. So... Main filesDesaturated Crown Texture 1kGamwich Jewelry Box Texture 1kOriginal Gem textureI need to update this FOMOD for her.

Stunning Statues of Skyrim (by AnTiWoMaAgNoT)
TechAngel85 replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Lets just wait on this one. At this point, I don't see any really compelling evidence to include it up some updates are done. I'll drop it from official Testing but will keep a testing tag on it for later testing. -
CTD and Performance patch ENBoost (by Boris Vorontsov)
TechAngel85 replied to EssArrBee's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I've updated the information on the mod page regarding the memory settings. I'll post the reasoning here in a bit. I still have to update the ENBlocal INI Guide. Reason: Message between SkyrimTuner and Boris: Keithinhanoi thoughts: -
ACCEPTED High Quality Food and Ingredients (by Iraito)

I'll have to confirm on my system. -
SKYRIMLE Skyrim Realistic Texture Overhaul Dragons (by Frozunswaidon)
TechAngel85 replied to klotim's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I'd agree that's it's probably not for STEP. Just going off the screens, that is. -
I think it is, but we left it in for users not using ENBoost. We should consider dropping it since the Guide only supports users that use it. I'm one of the users that uses it but doesn't really need to. I can run a full STEP install just fine without it.

DROPPED A Quality World Map - With Roads (by IcePenguin)
TechAngel85 replied to stoppingby4now's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Nvm, this is using a scripted installed instead of the normal FOMOD method of using .XML files. When installing the new file, the normal FOMOD installer will not appear in MO. Instead you are presented with the option of renaming/merging/etc as if there is no installer. Once you choose an option the external installer runs to install the mod. This is NOT the norm for FOMOD installers so I wanted to give all users a heads up as it even fooled me until I looked into it farther. Very few authors use the .CS script installer instead of the .XML files. They're custom and look great, but are far more tedious to write. I'll have the instructs updated shortly for the main file. -
DROPPED A Quality World Map - With Roads (by IcePenguin)

Instructions have been updated. For now use the optional files since the main file is broken (it's missing the main FOMOD file). -
Am I missig one of the Distance Overhauls?
TechAngel85 replied to TheMerryPloughboy's question in General Skyrim LE Support
That just looks like a normal glitch with the Skyrim engine. I still get them from time to time as well. I don't think there is anything that can really be done about it. Those glitches usually fix themselves when you travel over to that cell so it's loaded and then travel back. At that point, usually the LOD loads correctly. -
SKYRIMLE 101 Bugs Effect Patch (by Zaerosz)
TechAngel85 replied to MosAnted's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
We know and that is why we've said we can do this on our own if enough users thing the ingredients are overpowered. I will be looking for an alchemy overhaul before we go that route though. -
Looks like you forgot to hide a texture or two. Double check TreesHD.

ACCEPTED Relighting Skyrim (by NovakDalton and JawZ)
TechAngel85 replied to z929669's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
We're putting together an official lighting overhaul pack for STEP. It's in a Staff only thread right now though. It will be released separately from the Guide and Relighting Skyrim is a contender along with ELFX. This mod, on it's own, could be included in STEP as a standalone fix for the lighting tho. We'll see what comes of our testing. -
SKYRIMLE Dwemer Metal Retexture (by Langley)
TechAngel85 replied to WilliamImm's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Yeah, never cared for this mod when we were testing and debating on it. I think it should just be dropped from Testing. -
A new version has been release and I would recommend updating! The author overhauled the scripts to be far more light and more efficient; however, as a result both Dawnguard and Dragonborn are required now. He's now also include a hook feature so that 3rd party mods can add custom footprints as well. With the new version the Ash optional is now merged into the main mod so I'll be updating the STEP mod page for this. A note from the author:

SKYRIMLE 101 Bugs Effect Patch (by Zaerosz)
TechAngel85 replied to MosAnted's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I think that I partly my point as well. I understand they are harvest-able for alchemy; however, I view them as more of an addition to the game graphics rather than for alchemy purposes. Every player is going to see if differently though. I added a thread for Critter Fixes here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/7558-wiseman303s-critter-fixes-by-wiseman303/ -
Discussion thread: Wiseman303's Critter Fixes by wiseman303 Wiki Link From the author as he explains this mod the best: I think this is a no-brainer to add to STEP.

SKYRIMLE 101 Bugs Effect Patch (by Zaerosz)
TechAngel85 replied to MosAnted's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Sounds like something that needs to be in STEP. -
It conflicts with: DawnguardHRDLC 02HRDLC 03Dawnguard Crossbow Bolts VisualizedUDGPTDN Vampire Armor RetexturedUHRPSTEP Vanilla Optimized TexturesThis mod is such a mix of textures, I wouldn't even know where to properly put it in the Guide beside Conflicting Graphics. That would be the best place for it without having to hide most of the mod's textures; however, I'm not too comfortable with some of the textures unless I know the author has used the UPs as his source materials so those fixes are not undone.

SKYRIMLE 101 Bugs Effect Patch (by Zaerosz)
TechAngel85 replied to MosAnted's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I was thinking that after I posted above. Making our own patch for this would be super simple if enough players think it necessary because the bugs as alchemy ingredients are overpowered compared to vanilla. I personal don't think it necessary. I think finding an alchemy overhaul is the better option than fixing a bunch of mods that affect alchemy. -

Added a sentence to cover this for those that do not read the ReadMes. From the STEP Guide: -

SKYRIMLE 101 Bugs Effect Patch (by Zaerosz)
TechAngel85 replied to MosAnted's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
101 Bugs will not be removed nor will this be added because we don't use the version that this is a master to. Users are welcome to use this mod on their own. I personally don't walk around catching a lot of bugs to know how "overpowered" they are. I only make a potion here and there. Alchemy simply needs an overhaul all on its own and has for a while now. It needs a vanilla-friendly overhaul that makes alchemy more challenging and thus more rewarding. Then mods like 101 Bugs and Harvest Overhaul would make more sense.
