  1. If you're editing this in MO, then my only thought is permissions issue that isn't allowing MO to write the changes to your profiles. Where is MO installed?
  2. You need to set up your memory settings and some other things: https://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost
  3. It's likely still due to an issue with the mipmaps and running DDSOpt on the textures will still likely fix the issue. @Kesta... :ninja:
  4. Change this iTexMipMapSkip=1 to this iTexMipMapSkip=0 in your SkyrimPrefs.ini under [Display] and test to see if the issue persists.
  5. Now, I'm curious if this is caused by a rogue INI tweak. Can you post your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini ?
  6. Here's our DDSOpt Guide: https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:DDSopt It's strange that only certain users have this issue. I've never seen it myself.
  7. If this could be fixed with a simple INI edit, that would be excellent!
  8. Install DirectX9. I know that Steam "tries" to install it all, but from a clean install you'll still be missing some things that you need. I'm on my phone else I'd post a link for you. Also, make sure everything is checked in the Archives tab.
  9. I agree, Starac. Windhelm is probably the most neglected city for fixes and improvements. USLEEP fixed a bunch of snow shader issues there with the last update.
  10. Yeah, I seen it. I'm far more likely to buy Xcom...I love, love, love that game! Been waiting for either the summer or holiday sale to get it.
  11. Anything from HP can be burned as far as I'm concerned. Haha! I have a Kodak printer which is surprising pretty good...not that I've used it in the past year... I actually do want to purchase and play FO4, though, so it's not the series. Just the setting of that one game that was just...eh. Come again... :O_o: Let us gather the pitchforks, brothers!
  12. I seen this on Neo's Guide a long time ago, but forgot about it. Seems there is nothing to do at the moment besides recommending a double load any time users load a saved game. This actually explains why some of the enemies I've faced seem near impossible to beat when I should have been able to take them out. I'm sure someone will create a mod for this soon. Maybe even the Crash Fixes mod author will whip something up that will correct the issue.
  13. That's reading between the lines of the words posted when there is nothing there to read. I never said anything of the sort about FNV. If there anything at all to interpret it's that I do not enjoy the game for my own reasons, of which I've posted in these forums (somewhere) prior to this. This interpretation would be true and has no barring whether or not others enjoy the game. Guys/Gals need to lighten up and stop taking things so seriously. EDIT: For those not knowledgeable about my reasons from other posts I made a long time ago, it's simply that I don't care for the setting of the game nor some of the game-play aspects. I've played it for all of around 7 hours to determine that I simply wasn't "getting into it". Nothing about the game drew me in. That's not saying it's a bad game. It's just not my tastes. This is why I would like to "gift" the game to someone who would get more enjoyment out of it than I and not have to spend the cash for it (regardless of how inexpensive it is). However, I shouldn't have to explain my reasons as I have here to appease the crowd for all to see. Like said, just need to lighten up, peeps.
  14. Oh, I can see where that might be confusing! No, it was just an example given which would cause a change to the that version digit. We're not changing back to WB.
  15. No idea what you read, but 3.0 will not have anything to do with WB. STEP is staying with MO for the foreseeable future.
  16. Harsh? Why harsh? I want to give away something to someone that would get better enjoyment from it than I. Nothing more, nothing less. :)
  17. I wish Steam would allow you to "gift" games that you don't want anymore. I could give someone FNV + all DLC since I'm never going to play it.
  18. https://forum.step-project.com/forum/55-packs/
  19. The tree billboards for STEP are contained within the STEP Compilation. The files you are referring to are just vanilla textures that have been optimized.
  20. Ah! That is another matter entirely. I haven't tested it. I currently do not run an ENB because I have Vivid Weathers installed in my personal profile. When I do run one it's either ELEP or Vividian ENB - Vanilla Version. With ELEP I simply have a few choice effects enabled and I find that it's all I really need. I don't mind the vanilla "palette" when it's enhanced with better effects and/or weathers.
  21. Yes and no. The map compares above are of all battlmap01.dds. There is another map, battlemap02.dds, but it is completely different. If you wanted two different maps, it would take some CK work with a duplicated mesh that points to an alternative texture. Though I said I liked the solution above, it would be a custom one and is for a mod author to provide. It's not something you can do without a mod changing things up for you. It would be a simple mod to do though. ::
  22. That mod is being listed as dropped for 2.10.0 which is the next release. They shouldn't be in the compilation yet unless they slipped through during an update. I haven't tested, but will when I can.
