  1. Make sure you have turned off all AA effects in your INIs. In fact, if you haven't done so, I would recommend running BethINI.
  2. First, ensure you have installed the DirectX End-User Runtimes (download, extract, and run the installer inside). If you have that installed or it doesn't help, then try installing an earlier version of ENBSeries. Many users have reported issues with v.308 who are also running Windows 10. I assume you are by looking at your memory settings in the file.
  3. I got in touch with s4n. He was able to take a look. Seems like there has been a spike in requests the last couple days. He did some tuning to hopefully relieve some of the 504s. He will likely keep an eye on it for a few days. We have to be careful of remaining at high loads on the server for too long or we risk our host pulling the plug for a while; or worse.
  4. I'm sure we did worse. Haha! I would flunk/fail Europe.
  5. First, use BethINI to sort out your game INIs. This will ensure those are not the issue. Second, please provide your enblocal.ini. Third, install Crash Fixes to ensure you're not simply experiencing the loading CTD bug. This is a common issue where the game seems to randomly crash when loading.
  6. This sounds much more like a hardware issue rather than software. As a technician, my gut is telling me a failing hard drive. You sound tech savvy. I would run a hard drive diagnostic. Ultimate Boot has a few free ones that should do the trick. Just run the one for your brand of drive. Also, running check disk and and letting it correct errors would be a good idea. Final thing would be to run a SFC scan to fix any issues with Windows. If the hard drives check out, move on to memory by running mem86. If all that checks out, then move on to software like drivers.
  7. If you're getting a crash at this point, double check you have all the required masters and they are ticked in the left pane. Don't untick any plugins in the right pane until the end of the Guide.
  8. STEP does not use the Skyforge weapons addons. So I think you missed the file step on the Book of Silence page or incorrectly installed the EBQO patch for it. As for the SFO - Dragonborn.esp, it can be positioned anywhere. It doesn't conflict nor depend on the main/original plugin. The line about the Dragonborn Addon not being needed are for the newer versions of SFO, which STEP does not install. You should install v1.87 with STEP. However, if you want the newest version you can install it and will not need the Dragonborn Addon. Be aware that it is more performance heavy than v1.87.
  9. Yes, you can update textures at any time without issues. So if you find you're running okay with 1K textures, you might be able to bump a few up to 2K. Remember that landscape textures will have a larger effect on performance than other things like clutter. No manual editing required. You can do all your editing inside of BethINI, if you need to change anything. Usually after selecting the desired preset, there is no need to edit any further unless there are just a few custom things you like to set. If you install Tony's texture, you can skip the STEP Optimized Vanilla Textures and replace them with one of Tony's choices.
  10. You might just try installing STEP:Core with the lowest quality options available for the mods that have options. This will likely get you playing the game. I would recommend running BethINI to sort out your INIs and choose either the Medium or Low profile when it comes to that step. Our specs are to get you playing the game at 1920x1080 on High to Ultra settings with a base of 1K-2K textures. I would recommend you installing with no more than a 1K base were possible. I also recommend using the Performance version of the STEP Optimized Vanilla Textures and the Normal version of the STEP Compilation, when you get to those steps.
  11. Nothing changed with the mod page instructions. I've updated the page to reflect we're up-to-date to the latest version.
  12. Just activate those .ESPs in your load order and make sure they are ticked in the Archives tab. The re-run DSR and redo your Bashed Patch.
  13. Sweet! Can't wait for the authors to grab this up. I'm sure Mangaclub will be one of the firsts. He always keeps his ENB up to date with the latest additions and features.
  14. I've closed that topic and opened a new one by splitting off several pages of posts and moving the rest. It started loading properly on the first split so that was likely the issue. That topic was approaching 5000 posts. I've offered Sheson the support forum again.
  15. This topic has been closed due to it's length. See new topic here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/11446-dynamic-distant-objects-lod-dyndolod-218/
  16. I can confirm this behavior and it's only the last page which will not load. That is the largest topic we've every had. I've asked Sheson if he wants a support forum similar to MO, but he likes the single topic. I think a support forum will be better suited so users can better search for previous support quests. May have to make an executive decision there if the forum is being overwhelmed by that single topic. For now, I'll try splitting it out from the last update post to see if that fixes it.
  17. I just logged into the AdminCP and the server load is currently in the green for the forums. The wiki seems to be okay at the moment too. Possibly it was just a spike on the server for a while.
  18. Tapatalk has been laggy. I haven't tried the computer yet
  19. Try running BethINI to clean up your INI files and see if that fixes the issues.
  20. That sounds great! I'm sure there are a few of the unique interiors that could benefit from this.
  21. There are still hundreds of textures not covered by mods, so if you want higher quality vanilla textures install it.
  22. Good eye! I got that fixed and thank you. The forum software can't handle indirect links for images, such as the ones Google Drive uses. For posting images on our forum, you'll have to use a direct link which many online image hosting services provide. For now, the recommended service is Postimage.
  23. I was referring to the link you posted which is also here: https://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/topic/4110-manual-cleaning-skyrim-master-files/ That stuff I have known about for a long while. It just needs to be added to the Guide and a link to one of the pages will probably be sufficient.
  24. It's because you left one of the fields blank and the template was not set up to handle blank entries. I've corrected this by inserting "null", if any of the fields are skipped.
