That is true, fact. Well, it was only a suggestion on my side - obviously it's up to you guys :)

  3. I suggest Asus GTX660 TOP edition. I got this for Xmas and it's excellent, never failed me, including STEP'd Skyrim (not the Extreme edition, but close).

That's how the one on my forums look. I don't think it's intrusive, it blends in quite nicely. It's at the bottom of the main page, between the last forum and the statistics bit.
  5. My saviour! I wasn't aware that you could run SBW after Skyrim...
  6. Discussion thread: Dead Body Collision by LargeStyle Wiki Link Makes sense, no?

    Shoutbox

Hi guys. Did you think about implementing a shoutbox to the forum? I think it would speed up communication sometimes, and generally things like that tend to bind the community. I can recommend a good SB plugin, I'm using it on my forum, that is also MyBB based.
  8. I'm on dual display too, but my secondary screen is some cheap 19 inch, not worth calibrating really :D All in all, I dream of a dedicated computer room with a projector
  9. Depends what you want to use it for, but I calibrate my Acer X233H with the tool I linked earlier and I've never had any anomalies on my print outs.
  10. Yeah, I got enlightened at some point, when reading this x time ;) A suggestion: maybe calling them "mixed-resource BSAs from DLCs " is a bit misleading to a newbie like me, as the term DLC may also appeal to High Res DLC. Possibly expand on this a bit, so it is clear what mixed resources are. Ok, so now when I fully (lets say so, for on a newbie level) undeerstand the process - can we use DDSopt to optimise any of the other BSAs that are left in the Data folder?
  11. Hello. I need some guidance again please, regarding the last (new) point to action in the guide on DDSopt Optimization: What are the mixed-resource BSAs from DLCs ? I have done everything, as per the instructions. Extracted all the BSAs into Extracted folders, then processed them (Optimized) into Optimized folders, did not tick the PNG files, repacked everything into (separate of course) 7z's and installed as they were mods. Then removed the original BSAs (as per new point 8 of the guide). Do I need to do anything else? Thanks ::EDIT:: I also optimized the new HRDLC in the same way (did not extracted TXT files and also searched if there were any PNG files). ::EDIT2:: Please ignore this question, I just got it... Too tired after work I think :) Guess I have some repacking to do, as I packed all the mixed resources from DG and HF into 7z's rather than textures only...
  12. JJ, the one you linked is much better indeed! Switching :)
  13. Discussion thread: Unofficial Dragonborn Patch by Unofficial Patch Project Team Wiki Link It's here!
  14. I can see a pattern emerging there... Keep'em coming :)
  15. I don't know how this could be missed from STEP, but to me it's a must! Unless it's already addressed by some other mod that I am not aware of? https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11085 As per the title - sneak attacks remain silent, it removes the THUD! sound.
  16. Discussion thread: Lock Overhaul by Quad2Core Wiki Link This could be implemented as a replacement for current STEP mod:Â Breaking and Entering It does the same thing and adds a couple more features: Note I did not test this mod, however it's been recently recommended by Gopher, and I do trust his recommendation. I am going to try this in my new playthrough
  17. Hi guys. I am finishing off my base Skyrim installatio in next couple of days and I cannot decide which lighting mod and/or ENB to go with. I am aware of the official STEP lighting solution thread, however I also realise that it's looked at mainly from STEP mandate point of view, which is not my goal really. In my previous playthroughs I was using either Enchanced Shadows + Project ENB or Climates of Tamriel + Project ENB or Climates of Tamriel on it's own. I know there are some more solutions available now, like RCRN, ELFX etc. So I wanted to ask you guys which one(s) are you using and why if possible please? I basically would like to achieve bit more saturated colours, dark nights & dungeons, but I don't want over the top bloom.Â
  18. Oh, I did not pay attention to post dates... :)
  19. I'd say metallic or just matt black would look better than any of the above.
  20. I use Lagom tool. Never failed me, and I do print out large photographs quite often for art exhibitions - both in colour and b&w. If you have any presets on your monitor don't forget to set it to some kind of standard/default/normal preset first.
  21. Hot meal with lots of garlic will also do you good - garlic boosts your immune system.
  22. I don't believe we're actually debating about a flu :D I don't think you can heat up rum to required temperature though... I feel like an alchemist lol Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  23. Should do. I don't know how old you are ;), but there is another thing involving hot lager (sic!), kind of eggnog, cinnamon, sugar and some spices :D Yes, I know, it sounds ridiculous - I tried to sell it to British people, it didn't work... It's quite normal all over Europe though.
  24. Me again... I am using Simple Borderless Window - I find my game works better with it. When I run it through Mod Organizer, the game opens in a window as supposed to, but when I hit Ctrl+Enter, nothing happens (it's supposed to get rid of the window's border to make it fake full screen). When I run the SBW normally (i.e. not from MO), it works fine, but obviously I have no mods installed (as they are all installed via MO). I am following STEP and I have completed section 2.K. Clutter & Miscellaneous and added SBW then. I wanted to do a benchmark, but SBW is not working properly... Any suggestions how to fix this? It must be something to do with MO or the way it runs the SBW.exe file due to the fact it works when run independently. This is how I've got it set up in MO:
  25. Oh? I admit I did not read the full description - was at work :) It's a win then!
