I used to use some of those, they are all well thought out and work well together. I wanted to use Capacity & Carry Weight along with Encumbrance in current playthrough, but saw this on the mod's page: Since I'm also planning to use Frostfall, I decided to abandon SkyR. Shame, as they really add to immersion.

Issues with configurable keys (i.e. iHUD compass toggle etc)
rootsrat replied to rootsrat's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Aaah, thanks for a quick reply mate, appreciate. It was driving me nuts! Preparing this installation since Monday... I seriously could not be bothered testing mod by mod if it was something else than SKSE, especially, that I've got lots of overtime to do at work next week... KUDOS! -
Can anyone help me with using Automatic Variants in Mod Organizer please? I installed AV and the AV packages via MO, so obviously each one got it's own folder. Do I need to move all the packs into the respective folders in the main AV folder in my MO Mods folder for it to work correctly? ::EDIT:: Ignore, I found a solution. You need to install AV via MO and enable the esp in MO. Then copy all the contents to Skyrim/Data folder and install the desired AV packages to Skyrim\Data folder. Then you need to configure your executables for AV in MO to point at your proper Skyrim install folder, so that you run AV through MO but the Automatic Variants.jar file it's run from Skyrim Data folder. Then you select your packages, generate the patch (AV esp file) and it will put it into MO's Overwirte folder, which will in effect overwrite the previously activated AV esp file.

Aaah, of course, I forgot the access was granted for all... I used to have R/W access to my Polish STEP page only :)

Done now :) Wasn't aware I've had read/write access to full wiki.

May I have a suggestion on improving the guide a little: On the 3rd Party Programs tab, under SkyProc part, you could replace which is a very manual process, with This automates the currently suggested manual process without the user having to manually populate all the fields and parameters.

Hi guys I see some discrepancies in those two mods and patches and wanted to ask if anyone knows which is right. Realistic Needs and Diseases & Realistic Wildlife Loot And Recipes Now, RWLAR states: The versions available are Realistic and Reduced. I installed Realistic, as per the above advice. However after installing the patch availble in RN&D I noticed it's named RND_RWLReduced-Patch.esp. And I'm confised now, as the two information contradict each other... Do you happen to know which version of Realistic Loot I should install? Thanks ::EDIT:: Ok, for anyone wondering about the same thing - in the new version of RN&D there are two patches, one for realistic and one for reduced loot... You need to activate only one, respectively. Thread to be solved/closed please.

ENB settings - transparency of water
rootsrat replied to rootsrat's question in Post-Processing Support
Also, at least with the above used set up, the Riften hot waters look really badly. I've now swapped to CoT weathers rather than RL legacy ones and that seems to improve the waters (not sure about hot ones near Riften yet) -
ENB settings - transparency of water

So let me ask another question, slightly related - if I want to use CoT weathers with ROL do I install CoT weathers with or wothout the CoT DG patch? ::EDIT:: Nevermind, I figured -
ENB settings - transparency of water

That doesn't really solve my problem though :D Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2 -
Hi guys. I am currently testing and customising ENB. I have a full baseline STEP install + ROL + legacy weathers + SkyRealism Cinematic ENB installed. I try to twek it to my linking, however there is one thing about it that I do not like at all, at it's transparency of water. I don't know how to tweak this... Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. I attach 2 screens, one with ENB switched on, where you can see the bottom of the stream and another one with ENB switched off, where the water is not clear. To me the latter looks much better and more realistic. Do not pay attention to other stuff like brighteness etc, they're not relevant - I'm fully on about the water and it's transparency.

SKYRIMLE The Dance of Death - A Killmove Mod for Update 1-5
rootsrat replied to Bealdwine's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Aaah, one mod less to worry about then! Thanks for the tip, in all the honesty I've never fully looked into uncapper ini config... -
https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14514 I confirmed with the author that it works fine with Community Uncapper. I think it's a great mod for RP - i.e. a warrior, who no matter what is not able to learn destruction - just not his thing, hasn't got talent for magic, or vice versa - a mage, who tries hard to learn how to swing a sword, but armed combat is just not his piece of cake.

SKYRIMLE The Dance of Death - A Killmove Mod for Update 1-5
rootsrat replied to Bealdwine's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I just dug this topic out and I think that regarding this: Katixas Skill Lock Cap could be useful as well. It lets you to cap choosen skills so that they don't level over configured value. I checked with the author and theyv'e said it's compatible with the Community Uncapper. I am acutally going to include KSLC in my new playthrough and see how it works. In fact, I am going to recommend it in separate thread :) -
In terms of "better" or "worse" ENB preset I tink there is no telling, as it's the matter of personal taste and preference I think :) I installed RLO with it's legacy weathers (wasn't sure whether I'm supposed to install CoT Dawnguard patch if I wanted to use weathers only...) and SkyRealism Cinematic, and I didn't like the letterbox, so changed to Vibrtant. I didn't do much testing (it was late and Mrs Rootsrat was calling me to bed ;) ), but from what I could gather, Cinematic has much better saturation and colour profile, true. But I am not a fan of a letterbox at all... Vibrant is not so bad, but a bit dull I think. I couldn't see anything "vibrant" about it to be honest. Will do more testing today and check other presets.

When I was suggesting it I was thinking mostly of informal chatter - things like that bind community together and allow people to know each other more. Maybe for some ad hoc help etc. I don't think SB is a good idea for proper discussion, it's more of a social tool. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
