  1. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31398 Not sure if any of currently STEP incorporated touches book covers - but this mod looks pretty good. The mod also changes the actual content of books, but I asked the author if he would be willing to make a texture change stand alone version. If so, I think this could be a good addition to STEP.
  2. I was using this for ages (still am) and there are no issues, it's a great mod that should be in STEP I think. It's quote logical for a person to be able to block with two weapons, no?
  3. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34679/ Made it into a hot file. Looking at the screenshots it's not over the top, the eyes look natural and in-lore. All playable races are done, this will replace all characters' eyes, not only player's. Also: Amazing. And the below quote makes me believe it could suitable for STEP. We'd need comparison against current eye texture replacer (Natural Eyes). I may be able to find some time to do it tonight, but can't promise.
  4. Not sure about BOYD conflicts - but I am using it 2 of my current playthroughs, both full STEP + SkyRe setups and I haven't come across any issues so far.
  5. Has anyone tested this - or used it for prolonged amount of time? I'm eager to try it out. I also think this should be part of STEP, provided it's clean and issueless.
  6. Any Civ fans out there? Check this out, even if you're not a fan! -->Â https://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2405924,00.asp Amazing.
  7. Not sure if MO does any when it installs, but would be good to also check registry entries (assuming you run Windows)
  8. Dont think I'll be able to do all of them unfortunately.
  9. I'm totally digging Webs 2.0 here. I will try to find some time tomorrow to do some comparisons, so that this mod can (if chosen) make its way into this weekends release. Maybe even tonight, if I sort some stuff our before I come back home from work... Watch this space.
  10. Sorry, I'm really busy with some RL issues at the moment and I haven't got much time for fun unfortunately. I mainly access forum from work.
  11. Hi DaemonWhite. Send a PM on Nexus to Farlo and you'll get our nice Mod Author badge :)
  12. Just so you're aware - you don't have to get rid of items to create ingots. Although Ars Metallica lets you melt the items down, you can acquire them by using ores. Sorry, I'm not sure how familiar you are with the game - it may be obvious and a well known fact to you :)
  13. I chose WATER purely to the fact that it amend the flow direction, which makes a huge difference to me. It also makes waterfalls more visually believable I think.
  14. Keep them enabled. There are dumb questions, there are only dumb answers ;)
  15. (Sorry peppergomez, I kinda hijacked your thread - unintentionally, I assure. Thought your problem was resolved - I see it is not, apologies).Â
  16. I don't use many 2k textures and I run 64 bit OS, but yeah, I do realise that more RAM would do me good :) Thanks for your input guys, it's much appreciated. Guess we can mark this one as SOLVED, no?
  17. I've never seen a single episode of Dr Who. And I already got told off by a friend at work who is a big fan! :)
  18. VRAM's ok, system RAM is at 80-90% at all times. The issue occurs sometimes (not very often, but often enough to be annoying), randomly, but not each time I play the game. However - I have some sound issues that require me to restart the game as well (they are very frequent and VERY annoying), so it may be that the perfomance loss issue occurs EACH time, but sometimes sound issue occurs prior. I do not OC, I used to, but with current system there is no need. I only optimised vanilla BSAs, no mods. No repacking, loose files, same goes for any mods' BSAs (but they are not optimised). Yeah, I think it's RAM related as well, as this is effectively the "weakest link" of my system.
  19. 1. Yes 2. Not sure, if it is not enabled by default then probably not 3. STEP 2.2.3 + many additional mods (SkyRe, Frostfall, RND, many additional content and gameplay mods). My system is 6-core AMD Phenom II 3.2GHz, 4GB RAM, ASUS GeForce GTX 660 DirectCUII Top 2GB VRAM, Skyrim on HDD, OS (Win7) on SSD.
  20. I don't use ATTK, and I never played a game without SKSE to be honest, it's kind of a habit now to install SKSE right after I install Skyrim. I also use Simple Borderless Window, I have Mod Organizer as an attribute to it and I run SKSE via MO, after SBW is loaded. I did not try full screen game, as opposed to SBW, so this is unknown.
  21. Only the game, just quit to Windows and run it again.
  22. Would the latter be responsible for random - and severe - loss of performance after interior -> exterior transition? Dunno... Does performance stay that low or does it recover? The latter is probably memory limit related, the other sounds like a memory leak. Check your harddrive or SSD for errors. It stays, I need to restart the game (quitting to main menu does not help). It happens very rarely, but it happens - and always after transition from interior to exterior - never the other way around.
  23. Would the latter be responsible for random - and severe - loss of performance after interior -> exterior transition?
  24. I just read through full description and enhancement list of NVEC - New Vegas Enhanced Content. It's a massive collection of mods and it sounds awesome! It also has patches to be used with Mission Mohave, which is a bugfix compilation. However - Mission Mohave Plus is also a content enhancer, just like NVEC... I think those two need comparing and choosing which one is the better option. I have a feeling this thread will turn into a mini F(NV)TEP :D
