  1. Thanks for commenting, Krypto. As for EBQO, I think that the patch would be better, as obviously not everyone is using that mod. Or maybe the other way around - WilliamImm could implement patch for BSAI in his patch pack for EBQO? Either way, really. The torch equip issue seems to be dependant on mod set up then, as you said - lots of popular lighting mods out there that may affect this, so I don't think we can class that as an issue with this mod. The other issues with followers - well, hopefully these will be fixed in time. I will keep using this mod nevertheless. As I've said, I didn't notice issues with it before (maybe I wasn't paying enough attention). The main advantage to me is that my followers don't charge at every single enemy they see, and this is reason good enough to include this in my load order. As for STEP inclusion, I'd vote YES, but obviously the final decision is for Admins to make.
  2. Seems that 50% is the common theme, as I'm for that size as well.
  3. I would really like for this thread to remain purely informative rather than troubleshooting and support - the exact reason why I created it in this forum section :) I'd like to kindly ask for support questions and issues to be posted in the respective sections of forums - and here only your blocklist contents and reason for them please. Thanks!
  4. Hm... maybe it's the new version that introduced those bugs. The mod was recently updated - and my comments regarding it working fine were based on the previous versions. Hopefully kryptopyr will read this thread sooner or later and will be able to shed some light on the issues :)
  5. I removed this mod from my list. Was having issues with it: - Ignore Corpses did not work, my char would still stare at dead bodies. Creepy! - No matter how small the distance setting in MCM, my char would still be twisting his neck to look at nearby NPC's, even if they were quite far away (definitely beyond the distance I set in MCM) It's buggy in my opinion. As for 1st/3rd person - I play in both really depending on my mood :) I prefer 1st person, as my game seems to perform a bit better (smoother) in 1st person though.
  6. I gave it a try yesterday and I'm not so sure about this in the end. I loaded up my game (full set up - over 400 mods) and coc qasmoke from main menu. I noticed that a few mods from MCM menu were missing - Realistic Needs and Diseases being once of them. I couldn't tell whether the mod was active or not. I would rather refrain from using this method after all, apart for maybe some simple texture/meshes mod testing. I think that all ESP-less mods are ok to be quick-tested using this method, but any mods with ESP should be tested using correct testing procedure.
  7. I am sure that majority of us use at least one of the available SkyProc Patchers. I also know that certain mods should be excluded from patching, as it may cause problems. So I thought of creating this thread to share experience and make a comprehensive list of mod exclusion per patcher. Please post the mods that you have in your blocklist and specify which patcher they are for, and - if you know - also provide the reason for exclusion, so that we all learn from it :) I will keep the OP updated, as you add new mods to the list. I will edit this with mods from my blocklists when I'm back from work. ASIS BLOCKLIST SkyTEST - Realistic Animals and Predators + DLC plugins - known to cause problemsSkyBirds - Airborne Perching Birds - known to cause issuesAUTOMATIC VARIANTS BLOCKLIST Blaze of Eventide - confirmed to cause problems with AVExtended Slider Colors - confirmed to cause problems with AVHeadbomb's Better Sorting - confirmed to cause problems with AVDUAL SHEATH REDUX BLOCKLIST REPROCCER (SKYRE) BLOCKLIST
  8. It's not even MINI maps, it's MIP maps...
  9. Would you optimise Automatic Variants texture packs? I was always wondering about this. I am not familiar with maps and textures (to be honest, I don't even know what the "map" or "minimap" is) so any information would be appreciated. Also, the table you linked is for STEP 2.2.3, and we're on 2.2.6. I presume there won't be many changes if any at all, but even if it's the latter case, it would be good just to update version number to be consistent.
  10. I moved this thread (from Mod Testing) to more appropriate section in my opinion. This is more of an informative/support thread rather than particular mod test thread.
  11. I read SU mod page before I decided to go for an overhaul, but: 1) it does not modify perks, and I found vanilla perks boring 2) it's not compatible with many mods I wanted to use 3) I'm not sure how customisable it is while active, and I like to have some control over my game For those reasons I've chosen Skyrim Redone.
  12. It just seems werid to me that Companions would "give" you Lycanthropy over and over again, just because Dragonborn wants it. If there are valid reasons why they would do that, don't spoil it for me, I haven't done the Companions questline yet! ;) This: sounds like more realistic way of getting it again.
  13. Awesome, thanks for your help, Neo :)
  14. Sorry for double post. This is exhaustive source of pretty much ANYTHING that is available in game: https://www.skyrimsearch.com/about.php
  15. What's the source of your information? This sounds critical when it comes to mod testing.
  16. I must have missed the EBQO conflicts. From what I can see though - they are easily fixed, just drag records over from EBQO onto respective records. I've got that in my personal patch patch.
  17. Ok, updated OP, but I am unable to apply TESTING prefix - an admin needs to do that.
  18. I can vouch for it, I've had that in every playthrough I've ever done and it works flawlessly.
  19. I would like to bump this, as no one ever replied and I think this mod deserves attention. I see this as a Fix really. When you are sneaking, your follower should do the same, as opposed to charging at every enemy they see... Since the times of OP I learned fair bit about modding (mainly due to SR guide :), thanks Neo!) and I can confirm this is a clean mod. Deserves a spot in STEP IMHO.
  20. Also, this post on UESP suggests that the Lycantrophy is somewhat unique and can be regained only once. Although there is no explanation in lore article. Reading all this though it seems to me that the curse (or blessing, depending on point of view) is intended to be a unique, one-time "gift" from Hircine. I will in fact remove Multiple Lycanthropy Regift from my load order - I am a moderate lore purist :)
  21. Hi guys. More experienced modders out there, need some help. See the below image. Is creating a patch safe? So that it contains all 5 records. Or would it mess up some, I don't know (just guessing), AI? I am not familiar with faction mechanics...
  22. So, effectively, we hear seaguls but no waves...? Not sure if this is a good tradeoff. For audio files - Soundcloud :) For images either imageshack or tinypic. For files - dropbox
  23. Ah, ok. Don't use this one due to SkyRe.
  24. Hm... I'll test it as well when I get back home. It sounded so promising though! :)
  25. I've only just notice that DSR was voted MOTM on Nexus in April, 3rd place! CONGRATS, NEO!!!
