  1. In that case it's most certainly the ENB causing this then.
  2. I was using Immersive Patrols for ages now and I can't recommend it enough, it's an awesome mod. Inconsequential NPC only been in my playthrough for a while and I didn't get a chance to fully experience it yet, but it's looking good so far. I can also recommend Travelers of Skyrim -it plays along nicely with the two above ones, and its both error and script free. Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Well, I just measured mine and it takes 1 min 42 sec until Main Menu appears from pressing the RUN button in MO. Not that bad I guess - and that's on HDD.
  4. Let's not create off top :)
  5. This one and Morning Fogs are compatible. MF used to be part of this mod in fact, but then got separated to form a new mod.
  6. Did you use version with or without scripts? Does anyone know what the scripts do? There isn't much info on the mod page regarding this, but reading this: and the fact that the author calls it "Just In Time" scripts, I presume they do something along the lines of turning the lights only if they are visible or something similar...?
  7. Thanks for confirming. I exchanged a few PMs today and the issue does not affect the functionality. I was a bit afraid that the recipients were not getting my messages.
  8. :( I want an SSD for my games too! I have one for my OS and I'm really happy with it, my system starts up in no time. I will have to put that in my letter to my wife Santa this Xmas.
  9. Whatever suits you best :) I prefer to have more mods and 3 minutes start up time. You only start the game once, then you just play and enjoy all the mods :)
  10. I think it's all due to the fact that MO creates virtual Data folder and It has to be all sorted before Skyrim starts, as opposed to vanilla install, where the Data folder is just a "physical" directory on your hard drive. Not a big deal though IMO for all the benefits you get from using Mod Organizer... ::EDIT:: Just think how much time you'd need to spend on reinstalling ALL YOUR MODS each time you have to update a mod that sits high in your install order (not load order) and alters some textures... With MO you just reinstall it, and all the file overwrites are handled there on the spot. Without MO - uninstall all the mods, install the update, then reinstall all the mods again. 3 minutes start up time suddenly seems like a good bargain!
  11. That depends on how many mods you have installed. It takes long time for my Skyrim to start - I never actually measured it, but I would say 3 minutes until main menu appears! I have about 400 mods installed.
  12. Oh, I didn't even notice I was responding to wrong user ;) Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
  13. Then you don't even have to deactivate them - just download and install, REPLACING the old versions (do not merge).
  14. Which mod manager do you use?
  15. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37256 Just some new rock textures. The title claims they're 2k, but there is also 1k version available. I've just found this mod, so not sure how it looks in game, some comparison would be required. More of a reminder to myself to check it out at some point :)
  16. I was asking for a chat once :) There was something like a chat available for a while. It was removed though, and as far as I remember the decision was based on the fact that there was no traceability and the possible important information was lost. With forums and threads the conversations just stay here for people to search and access them whenever required.
  17. Correct.
  18. To answer your question, in short - BCF is an installer for Wrye Bash. It's used when there are some options to be selected during mod installation. Wrye Bash requires such mods to be packed using specific folder structure, if they are not packed in that way a BCF for that particular mod is required for correct installation. If you don't sue WB you can ignore those files. Marked as solved.
  19. Hi guys I just noticed I have the below shown in my outbox. Not sure if my messages are being sent through. When I go into message details, the recipient is displayed properly.
  20. Well, I use combination of RLO, CoT and ENB and I must say I was of the same opinion as Quitch, I didn't really like the too dark interiors. I found it a bit werid that all these people just sit there in the darkness. I recently started a new game as a companions and if you go to Jorvaskarr living quarters it's the same thing in the corridor etc. Therefore I would really think twice what "realism" is. Realistic Lighting Overhaul, yes, that is a very accurate name. The light IS realistic. The people sitting in the total darkness and acting like nothing happened IS NOT. My solution to this is ENB setting tweak, I just adjust them on the go, whenever I find the environment I'm in too dark - I tweak the settings slightly and I keep going as I visit more places in the game play until I finally find a good balance between lighting realism, behaviour realism and playability :) It takes time until it's good for all the interior types, but I always get there eventually.
  21. Have a look few posts above. It means exactly what is says - install the mod, activate the esp, but to not start the mod in MCM menu.
  22. The above mod does not fit the STEP mandate, that's for sure. It's too much of a gameplay change. Nevertheless it's more at beta stage now, rather than version 1.0, as the mod page states.
  23. This looks VERY interesting. Looking at the known issues section it still needs lots of work. For now, 3 USKP scripts are overwritten: There are also various conflicts with few popular mods (Diverse Guards, SkyRe, Immersive Weapons,  Cloaks of Skyrim, USKP, EBQO). As it involves lots of scripts, I am not sure how safe would it be to use in a complex Skyrim build. If its even considered fot STEP packs, we'd need to look at USKP and EBQO mods only I guess.
  24. I would encourage you to try it. It's really well done mod.
