  1. As far as any colored map marker mod goes, they all should be compatible. You just have to install it after mine. The only thing edited when changing the map markers is map.swf. You can see that my mod also changes the color and size of the markers to fit the style of the map, so that obviously means you will be overwriting my map.swf with another. That's all you have to do. If you can, post some screenshots of how it looks in your game with Texture 1, no ENB. Just curious to see how the color is different from pc to pc. and thanks for the kind words I'll post the screenshots here tonight, no problem. How about the changes I requested, would you be able to implement them? Can someone else confirm this? I come across ILS in my game recently quite often, but, strangely, after installing this mod, it did not happen once last night...
  2. Hm... I may just try your mod and see what happens :) In fact, I'll do it now. ::EDIT:: I tried it briefly and I must say I fell in love with this mod straight away! I will need to do some more testing, but the initial thoughts are - it's a must! It's so much more immersive than the vanilla map! It's not compatible with Not Another Colored Map Icon Mod - NACMIM. I would have the following requests, if possible: - Merged ESP for Dawnguard and Dragonborn for Texture 1 and 2 - No Player Marker for Texture 1 I am going to test this mod in the next few days if I get a chance. ::EDIT2:: After a some further testing I can say that Texture 1 looks amazing with an ENB and not so good without and vice versa for Texture 2. I am going to start using your mod and ditch QMwR and NACMIM, but - again - I would really appreciate: - Merged ESP for Dawnguard and Dragonborn for Texture 1 and 2 - No Player Marker for Texture 1. I would also encourage Mod Testers and Admins to have a look at this mod!
  3. Just one thing: FormID 0002D40E - Region not carried over from Unofficial DG Patch. Apart from that there are no conflicts.
  4. Was not aware of that. I will make a lore purist version tonight then, it's a few minutes job. Thanks for the suggestion! For my own playthrough I use some crossbow mods that make the weapon more common across Skyrim, hence I made this first version. Well I was searching the internet today, but I did not find anything related. I myself did not play the DG questline. When I tested this mod yesterday the NPC that gives you Ancient Knowledge radiant quests to retrieve schematics for enhanced & dwarven crossbows and explosive bolts does mention indeed that they are forgotten and lost - that's why I did not include them in for crafting and and purchase. Only the steel ones. There is an NPC called Durak and here's what TES Wiki says about him: That would indeed indicate that crossbows are not THAT popular in Skyrim... I am going to check it out tonight to see what he exactly says in the dialogue. I am a bit of a lore purist, and I would like my mod to be as close to it as possible - however I don't mind going for some compromise when my mod set up and character playthrough specifics require that :) Lorewise, the only line that Durak says is: "Never seen a crossbow before, eh? Nor surprised. Kind of a Dawnguard specialty. Nothing better for putting down vampires" - then he gives you a crossbow. And this is the only line that indicates that crossbows are somewhat a rare weapon in Skyrim. If you never ask him about that, you are given a crossbow by Isran, and he only says: "Here, you should take a crossbow. Good for taking out those fiends before they get close." That's all. I will upload the lore purist version, although I think it's not really required. It also needs separate patches for SkyRe, which makes it a bit of a pain...
  5. Yeah, I thought of that too, but I am not very experienced. In fact, until now I only produced some custom patches for myself and this is my first mod ever :) There is a lot to learn and just as much to improve! I have very limited time to spend on modding unfortunately, as I'm involved in quite a few other projects that take priority over Skyrim :)

  7. It may be not related at all, but I noticed that turning ENB off at main menu prior to loading the saved game apparently helpss ILS... It may be just a coincidence though.
  8. Marking as solved.
  9. Can you actually remove the whole [sKYLIGHTING] section without any problems?

  11. Yeah, that is my plan for improvement. I need to read about how lists work though, as the crossbows and bolts are not in the generic ones, so they would need to be added as single items.
  12. I know we should not recommend our own mods... but I will anyway, as I think this is somewhat of a fix that should be in the game from the beginning. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/40678/? Did you ever wonder why crossbows and certain bolts can only be crafted at Gunmar's forge, even though it's not any special kind of forge? And why vendors never have any steel crossbows and steel bolts for sale, despite always being stocked on bows and arrows? Steel bolts and crossbows should be pretty common weapon in Skyrim in my oppinion and the availability should be quite similar to bows and arrows. Also, once you acquire knowledge of how to forge Dwarven crossbows and bolts and explosive bolts, you should be able to craft them at any forge, if you have the relevant perk. And that's what this mod does. And so: * Steel crossbow - No need for schematics - Can be crafted at any forge - Can be purchased at any blacksmith or fletcher shop * Enhanced steel crossbow - Need to find schematics first - Can be crafted at any forge - Cannot be purchased * Steel bolts - No need for schematics - Can be crafted at any forge - Can be purchased at any blacksmith or fletcher shop * Dwarven crossbow - Need to find schematics first - Can be crafted at any forge - Cannot be purchased * Enhanced dwarven crossbow - Need to find schematics first - Can be crafted at any forge - Cannot be purchased * Dwarven bolts - Need to find schematics first - Can be crafted at any forge - Cannot be purchased * Explosive bolts - Need to find schematics first - Can be crafted at any forge - Cannot be purchased Only Vanilla and Dawnguard are covered. Hearthfire and Dragonborn will be added in due course. Patches for Ars Metallica and Skyrim Redone are available.
  13. Awesome!
  14. Marking this one as solved then.
  15. There is a setting in ENBlocal.ini: DisablePreloadToVRAM=false. Some users reported reduced ILS when they change that to true. It didn't seem to help my ILS's, however this Skyrim.ini tweak: iLargeIntRefCount=131072 - helped me with exterior ILS's... I know it's supposed to help with loading big interiors, but I used to get a lot of ILS recently, and when I added that line to my ini file, they've stopped. I don't know if there is a connection, but it wouldn't hurt to try :)
  16. I tried this mod in game before and I must say I did not like it. I couldn't get hair colour right (using RaceMenu) and there is just something about these meshes that makes them look bad to me. I can't really say what it is, but they simply don't appeal to me. Therefore AOF would be my choice.
  17. Thanks for the update Daemon, it's much appreciated.
  18. While you're here, Daemon, could you unveil any anticipated time of the next release? I know it says 'do not ask' on the mod page, but you any estimation would be good... Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 4
  19. The .dmp file is the dump file that you should send to MO author for investigation - it contains logs from the last program crash. He could find a possible crash reason and add a fix in next release.
  20. Make a copy of your /profiles folder too, delete all the profile but the Default and try again - it may be just a corrupted profile that won't load up.
  21. Did you try reinstalling it?
  22. Thanks for your reply. I'm quite interested to see what your CCO will have to offer. I remember using the original one ages ago, but I totally forgot what features it offered. SkyRe does touch pretty much everything, including crafting perks. ReProccer is mainly used to adapt weapon/armor stats to SkyRe's philosophy using an XML file with predefined conversion values. It also merges keywords (as SkyRe changes some of those as well) etc., but to be honest I do not know the details. P.S. My posts may seem chaotic, I've been at work since 8 AM and it's 22:20 here now, and I'm still in the office, so apologies in advance if what I say makes no sense :)
  23. As a future proof question - do you anticipate any compatibility issues with Ars Metallica? I do not dare to ask about Skyrim Redone...
