  1. No antivirus is 100%, and I will go with global years-lasting reputation rather than forum rumours :P
  2. I wish someone bothered with the 2k version as well, heh. Having high end PC makes you want to only have the best of best :D
  3. Five days ago. I know it will sound harsh, but posts like these are useless. edit: Actually I think we got ourselves another spammer. Just look at the flood of useless posts in last hours.
  4. I've recently installed antivirus (ESET Smart Security) after about at least 10 years of running without one. Gives me a good feeling of being safe.
  5. That's not half bad. Let's hope the next version won't take a year to be released :D
  6. It's possible to disable the default one? How? Just by unsetting the appropriate key? (is that even possible?)
  7. I can see exactly what you need in S.T.E.P. → My control panel → Settings → Profile Settings → Ignore PreferencesNow you can finally add me... :P

Hahaha :D You still got a point though... kind of! 3 millions of users would take the forum down much faster than storage capacity problems :P
  9. Good, thanks for acknowledging :)
  10. That's exactly spot on. I tried to ask why a few times, but all I got was grumpy sounding "Because we say so, it was tested for you, so just do it.". Well I might sound like ungrateful ass, but I don't think this is how it should work. If people took the time (and I am aware it was a lot of time, and I DO appreciate what STEP does for players) to write the wiki pages, adding one line of very brief explanation cannot be that difficult and annoying to do. Instructions that say "hide these files from folder tree" are, well, how to say it politely, WRONG.
  11. Yay, finally an answer :D It's not a question of why, I was just curious how it worked and whether my assumption was correct.
  12. Long story short: Take a look at this post. There's no way to open the images in new tabs, so doing any kind of compare is basically imposible. Right click opens an image instead of presenting me with context menu, and ctrl+click doesn't open a tab either. Is there any way to change this?
  13. Ha, got it. As usual, I WAS mixing stuff up in my head. It's still in testing, both of them, actually. I was removing the forts from Vivid Landscapes because I decided to go with SRO or vanilla instead: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/3813-amidianborn-imperial-forts-by-cabal/page-2?do=findComment&comment=62029 I'm gonna take a look again.
  14. Actually... no. It's not in the guide at all. I am sure it was marked as accepted somewhere, some time... Or I am mixing stuff up again. Damnit
  15. I think he switched focus to maintaining the AIO version the most in last weeks, but I really don't know what's going on with the others ever since I switched to the full package (well, minus manually deleted files belonging to the forts, for which I use Cabal's mod as per STEP recommendation).
  16. He does, but I can see how it's pain in the ass :D He has pretty slow internet, so uploading anything bigger takes ages. He doesn't update the individual mods right away either.
  17. I don't care for overclocking, so the memory type is not a problem for me. And it performs the same with closed case, too. P.S. VRMs are typically (from what I read over time) rated to survive up to like 125°C, so anything around up to 110 is definitely 100% safe. Of course we don't like those temperatures and try to do anything to cool them down, but in reality it's not needed. It gives a good sense of satisfaction, though.
  18. I haven't run into any problems with default screenshot functionality, but thanks for the tip, it sounds like a solution for sure.
  19. Well you're about 1,5 pages too late. That's not what I am trying to discuss at all, as you could probably tell from the last 10-15 posts. Just to make absolutely sure it's understood: I do not have any problem with any missing masters anymore, the post immediatelly after that gave me the solution (I didn't think it was necessary to point it out, and the discussion went other direction anyway).
  20. Is it normal that the ini files are adding entries into them at will? I wanted to disable the screenshot functionality, because the game does that just fine, but I was super surprised to find out ENB actually re-added "KeyScreenshot=44" into enblocal.ini. (no I don't want to change the key, I just want to disable the feature :P)
  21. I am sorry, I don't understand you one bit again (not the words, rather what are you trying to tell me). You don't make any sense (and I wasn't asking about most of what you wrote anyway). And you most probably don't understand me either.
  22. Added to my list of "give it a shot" mods :) Thanks.
  23. What I'm trying to say is I don't believe anything but the .esp is needed at all.
  24. Ok this is what it looks like when the folder is previously empty. I am absolutely sure most of that stuff is not needed. Bottom line is, instructions on Nexus simply say "Activate the generated Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp (this should be loaded after all mods listed above).".
  25. I have to admit I don't understand what are you saying in most of your posts, unfortunately. "Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp" is junk? Really? Except for the SKSE and meshes subfolders, everything else is created by the DSR patcher. And instructions say (at least that's how I understand it) to make a patch out of ALL of that.
