decalflameburn01.dds in the installed folder is the same as the one in 10 Fire Cracks folder in the archive, so are you saying I should copy the same files to the installed folder, only with different names? edit: That did it! Great!

You should use a SSD :P No moving parts, much lower chance of something being FUBAR.

I decided to try to do something useful, so I grabbed the 2048k package and compared it to the optimized one linked in the wiki, and also vs hires textures. I deleted all redundant textures I could find and repacked it back with Dawnguard textures included. Download it here (roughly 3,3GB 7z archive). I also found two interesting things, which were probably overlooked (or decided as not needed) by whoever created the optimized package: 1) there is an alternative texture (and its normal) for Whiterun city wall: It looks exactly like vanilla, but it's 2048k in size and looks just as superb as the rest of SRO. regular SRO on the left, alternative vanilla texture in SRO quality on the right: - 2) There is a weird extra normal texture in roads folder: edited out, unimportant Anyway, I hope someone will find this useful.

I thought I had everything running properly, but suddenly noticed some texture problems. For one, the big white square on the ground, and some purple parts of textures. Does anyone have any idea what could be the most probable cause? Could it be some problem with fire effects maybe?

Looks like the author of Immersive Creatures made some sort of agreement with Prometheus and stepped in to fix all the stuff that's been discussed lately.

Well, that 6th february seems to apply to everyone (I only tried a few random people). Is it some technical limitation that you can't get all results that way? Perhaps a "warning" message could be diplayed? There's no reason not to think you won't get all results for that user.

If you open your own profile and then click on New Content, it takes you to what is presumably newly registered members. While this MIGHT make SOME sense, I don't think it's expected behavior, and I'd rather see it take you to new posts like usual.

LMAO! The reason given by the author is: Mod file Hidden due to purpousely unendorsment tactic/blackmailing by some users for pursuing of their own requests. Wich shows a total disrespect for the work done for that mod and the effort behind . So much for ego killing potentially great mod. Time to move on I guess.

I find it weird that he comes here and copies 10 posts to repost them on Nexus to show just how much are people insulting him rather than actually posting and discussing things. He would have to deal with many times less spam in here than in the comments on Nexus, and gotten much more valuable information, but I guess he chose different path "in life". So be it, it's his right to be the way he is. We can only be sad (and the people who actually understand the technical things behind all this even more).

Of course, there are some other important factors, like not using Windows XP, having firewall running, router properly configured, and ideally Adblock Plus installed. Honestly, that's all you need. I scanned my PC a few times over the years and always was clean.
