You don't necessarily need full ENB just for parallax. It might look better with it, but it's not required. -

Hm, so theoretically I could install it after DSR, since it contains some sort of DSR patch? I am sure the author didn't intend for the users to separate files and creating a "submod". It should work "out of the box", I'd guess. -
I might be wrong here, but I think MO treats BSAs as loose files anyway, and from the looks of it, you don't even need to check them in the archives tab - I still see files overwritten in the conflicts tab of the mod's properties.

Since this mod apparently only contains meshes, did you rather mean installation order? I am still not sure where to place it, because even if it has some DSR compatible meshes, DSR would still overwrite it, no? And then there is DSR patch itself, which comes even after DSR.(that's just an ESP) -
vurt, just out of curiosity, what kind of PC do you have that can handle ugrids 15? It's interesting to me, because I have reasonably overclocked i7 3770K, 16GB RAM, and Radeon R9 290 (4GB), which in my opinion is highend setup - and yet, with heavily modded game, highest ugrids I can reasonably play with is 9 (it mostly stay in 45-60 range). 11 seems to works too, but FPS dips into noticeably unpleasant numbers then. Even with 9 I occasionally hit 15-20 for a short moments under specific conditions. P.S. Play the game a bit, you might find it fun :P

Yea I mean, those in Wet and Cold are obviously not craftable, if I understand it correctly I'd need the standalone mod. -

I am really losing it with this. Could anyone tell me how to make items move around the way you want please? I've spent last 30 minutes trying to put one of those bug jars on a shelf, and am ready to punch the monitor. I just can't make it sit where I want it, and it always ends upside down anyway. The damn thing always drops to the floor, there doesn't seem to be any way to rotate it, and I couldn't figure out a way to put it higher without jumping up, which in turn makes it to drop to the floor again.

Which mod(s) adds wearable backpacks? I've been finding different ones in the game, but from what I could find, wearable ones are not in vanilla Skyrim. Also, they don't seem to be craftable. Damn modded game finally got me, lol. An example: "Backpack, white fur" -

This mod's idea sound awesome, but I am worried about all the other mods that touch meshes. Greatsword sheats, Realistic weapons positions, Cabal's stuff, and whatever else might people use. -
That's a good idea, but the CTDs are unfortunately not exclusive to Riverwood and its surroundings :( But I'll see about all the sound stuff in general.

The more I play with this mod the more I love it. In case you ever noticed the locked abandoned mine in Riverwood, it's an alcoholic's (and hermit-enchanter's) haven.

Ok ok, I am lost again :( What's ICS? Btw, I sorted my plugins with LOOT instead of BOSS, and that half-guaranteed CTD when fast travelling to Guardian stones disappeared. I've played pretty much nonstop since, and while I did get a few CTDs again, it seems significantly better. I will look into AOS, thanks for the tip.

Right now I instantly (or after like 1 second) CTD when I fast travel from Riverwood to The guardian stones. I don't get it.

Reader beware. There is a lot of misinformation on this thread, so please read the closing post before continuing. This thread is a great source for instructing novice modders as to how difficult and tedious it can be to create a custom modded setup. STEP Even with 4GB card and ENBoost, I am crashing like no tomorrow with this game. Like someone pointed out in other thread, it's probably not related to memory problems (I've just CTDed after fast travelling) but rather mods incompatibility or something like that. I currently do not use higher ugrids (with all the mods I have, I could run with 9 without any apparent problems in the previous game). I have SKSE 1.7 alpha installed and use the memory patch settings. Does anyone see anything horribly wrong with my load order (it's 99% done by BOSS, I only switched Realistic Weapons positions after DSR patch as suggested on Nexus)?
