Greetings, I'm almost finished putting together a list of mods, patches and the like. I'm curious, what is a best practice testing scenario to be sure the build works? One, two, three hours of play? I am mostly wanting to be sure that my build can handle the scripts I'm throwing at it. Any advice would be appreciated. Phos

Warning: Contains 694 ITM records. Clean with TES5Edit.Should I clean this with TES5Edit? I can't find an answer on the mod page or here but it is included in Step: Core. I know with some files cleaning them isn't a good idea... is this one of those?

Did a reinstall, downloading the 'automatic and detect' installer. Went through the motions, now I have my catalyst control center. That was odd.

Using 14.4 now... came with Gaming Evolved App. I think the one I used previous was in the 13's. I got the driver from the AMD driver website as the update. Edit: It's the AMD Mobility Radeonâ„¢ Driver set... if that helps.

So... I know this guide hasn't been updated in quite some time but I just updated my AMD drivers which came with AMD Gaming Evolved app; the Catalyst Control Center that I have used previous, and the one this guide mentioned, is gone. I'm not sure how to make the changes in this guide with that app. Nothing looks like it did previously so I'm in need of a little help.

I haven't even gotten around to playing yet. Probably tomorrow. I'll be on the lookout though.

Only been at it for a few years, not quite the experience you have. I still make the obvious mistake here and there. I just figure if some of these things can be mentioned in the guide there will be less of the same questions asked in the forums. If you like I can write up something and submit it to you for the next time you're working on the guide.

I agree with apenny on this one... having some idiot - proofing isn't a bad thing especially if it is explained why you have to make certain to tick Project Nevada before installing the 'extra options' mod. This is EssArrBee's guide, however, so however he wishes to do it.

I had some of the same issues with project Nevada extra options. I hadn't checked the first Project Nevada mod in MO so when FOMM started up the Extra Options mod, it couldn't find the Project Nevada esps.

I've tried going through the other mods after Roberts to see if this is a conflict issue but nothing changes the bars on the skin. On the Roberts page it says to toggle archive invalidation on then off... tried that, though I'm not sure how that helps the situation. Checked both ini's to make sure that archiveinvalidation is indeed set at 1, and it is... Not sure where to go next. When you are able to get to it, I will appreciate any help you can offer EssArrBee. No rush... I know you're busy. update: I didn't realize there was a forum dedicated to this problem. Read through that and tried the, untick every bsa / start game with a crash / tick bsa's again and... now it works perfectly. Have no idea how that makes sense, but... it worked.

Update: I unticked Robert's and... all of the issues are gone. I'll have to figure out where i screwed up with the install. I believe I've installed this to the letter but I have an issue where there is a black mark across my character's bare chest and shins. I tried to link a picture but I'm not sure how to do it. Can anyone tell me where I've gone wrong. Thank you for any help.

I'm going through STEP 2.2.7 and at Dead Body Collision Fix... what is the recommended version? With the Fireball Spell or without?
