  1. Odd have you optimized your BSA archives? If so look at the BSAopt thread for some mor einfo
  2. Oh yeah I cut coffee out I'm an insomniac and the stuff I was drinking could power a small country; I never got to sleep (Ever) with that stuff and nothing else seemed to do it for me so I just started to do without it. I still have trouble sleeping with low doses of some of the sleeping meds they use in hospitals but hey I'll have some cokes during the day and that helps a lot to substitute for coffee. But no seriously next time you or someone you know bakes cookies ask them to try looking into substituting eggs for applesauce I was skeptical when I first heard it but it is so good. IT works in other baked goods too I'm not a heavy meat eater I loathe fish and most steak (London Broil is my favorite though), I don't eat from McDonalds, Burger King, Wendy's, etc alot although I do occasionally like to indulge in some Krystals or Krystal Chicks. Hamburgers too unless I cook them myself on the grill or on the george foreman fat master then I can't stand them. I'm not opposed to vegetarianism but I have lots of allergies so have to be careful and meat is safe. Good luck again I'll post if I hear from my cousin had to email her she lives up North more towards Canada I think so who knows when I'll hear from her and I messaged some other people I'll try to remember to send you some of the stuff they found helpful.
  3. Good luck to you man. I'm no nutritionist but it isn't generally a good idea to go cold turkey on meat (or anything really) your body gets used to it. I've known several people who've gone vegetarian and the one thing they forgot to add to their meals are veggies that contain tons of protein. They got headache's real bad kinda like what happens when or if you're used to coffee (I myself was used to hair killing; plant killing espresso) and stop you're body is used to caffeine and now you're not getting your fix. I don't know if they're any good but here are some high-protein recipes https://vegetarian.about.com/od/healthnutrition/tp/high-protein-recipes.htm Also one thing you can use to substitute for I think it's eggs in cookies is to use apple sauce and I think baking powder. I've tried it before and to be completely honest I liked the taste better. If I remember to I'll get on facebook (oh how I hate "social media") and ask some of my vegetarian friends and I think I have a cousin who is vegetarian for some recipes.
  4. Hmm... well it seems it's likely not just Markarth I got another freeze in the wilderness just a bit ago. I even tried disabling my non-SR mods. The freeze is at least fairly reproducible i.e. wait about 30 minutes and then start bashing on wolves or bears in the wilderness and it'll freeze (eventually) after you kill one (no set number of kills I killed about 50 wolves before it happened one time) *facepalm* I said Particle Patch but it's Aiyen's textures from his ENB.
  5. Well I would not advise an ENB even if it is "performance" I think on average (don't quote me) ENB uses (reserves) 200mb of VRAM so you'd probably be pushing it with Skyrim HD 2k Lite. I know I was when I had my old laptop (have to check some of my first posts on this forum). I also don't think you'll be able to use alot of the texture recommendations from Skyrim Revisited as you have such limited RAM. I'd imagine you're using about 1GVB of that for your OS so you'd likely only have 3GB to play with (at best and without anything else running)
  6. Interesting. Has anyone tried the author's ini settings without using the ugrid values?
  7. I WOULD optimize the normals to 1k if I were you (even if I didn't touch anything else) they have a heavy impact.
  8. I was but the particle patch overwrites it (it comes up with the grey lightning bolt redundancy flag in MO)
  9. I would imagine they are all connected; whether or not they are working optimially or dead is the real question. Anyways back on the sort of topic thanks for the info about TESI and TESII
  10. So isoku's videos look promising but I couldn't tell if he was previewing a new mod of his (or if he'll incorporate it into wet and cold) or what.
  11. Yeah it's not quite as bad as having to update to a newer firmware on the PS3 but that the updates are applied automatically and do not allow for newer mods is unpleasant. Ok so I was having a freeze issue in the wilderness just kinda randomly (didn't seem to be related to RAM or VRAM) so I cleaned Skyrim Flora Overhaul again and that seemed to fix it, however now I have a infinite loading screen upon exiting Markarth. Of course I'm still not 100% sure this isn't caused by the XP32 skeleton (which I thought I finally got working with version 1.81) Of course now that I look at it; it says the RAM reached 2960 at one point so could that have been it I would have thought it would CTD or Freeze then not after...
  12. They probably consider it one of their "minor" bugs.
  13. Anyone found a way to fix it raining underneath structures? I mean rain coming through the roof of say Alvor's forge in Riverwood is very immersion breaking. The tents too. I wonder if it's possible to do something like Hearthome Cottage (no load doors and part of the worldspace) I have not noticed any rain in it; obviously for tents it'd be hard or next to impossible but for Alvor's forge... I just remembered a mod I saw a couple weeks back called Real Shelter anyone know if it fixes the rain? I'll load it up in TES5Edit to see if it needs cleaning and try it out if it does then I'll post it in the mod suggestion forum. Also does anyone else find it disturbing how OFTEN it rains? I swear I get out of one that lasts for a day and then have five minutes before another shows up >v<
  14. Turns out it was the fullscreen=1 flag forgot to turn it to 0 when I re-vanilla'ed my ini's so it did help but only without ENB. I got about 5 FPS more with ENB outdoors, 10 on interiors by going from 1920x1080 -> 1600x900. Non-ENB FPS goes up to 55 (41-55) depending on the area, outdoors and seems to stay around 60 indoors. Also Aiyen are you using sunrays at .25? If you are and can see through that then props to you. Also should I use the Skyrim Flora Overhaul's 2048 Tree LOD instead of yours or...? Come to think of it I'm using a fairly taxing load for SMIM but those are mainy in towns right? If so that probably explains some of the slow-downs I get in towns. Wonder if there's anything similar for outdoors...
  15. Ok I just have to post(sorry for the double). Shouldn't decreasing my resolution help increase performance by a bit? I decreased both my ENB fx files resolution to 1600x900, decreased my default resolution through nvidia control panel to 1600x900 and have the borderless window plugin. Framerate without ENB increased but stayed the exact same (as what it was at 1920x1080) when I turned it on. I was playing at 1920x1080 before and that is also my laptop's native resolution
  16. Yeah I'm not looking forward to re-installing but if I see a deal on the DLC's and/or an EVGA card I'll probably just bite the bullet and get them making a full rework worth it. On the upside I likely won't need to re-download the texture mods or most of the others (excepting ones like BoS and the Unofficial Patches). This whole skeleton thing is bugging the hell out of me though.
  17. Well I'd imagine those cases are either their buffer overflowing from a sudden torrent of new textures say going from 1k interiors to 2k exteriors; or simply the data loading itself unusually fast (talking about microseconds here) and therefore whatever monitor is being used doesn't have time to plot the new resource usage. Either way SLI seems bad for these modding conditions (especially with ENB), Optimized Textures good, triple checking load order good. Progressive install (with multiple test-runs in script intensive areas Helgen intro for example) for non-step, non-Skyrim Revisited mods good. Cleaning said as yet unsupported mods for good measure also probably good.
  18. Well resetting the FOV seemed to fix the carriages but the NPC's seemed to be behind in their lines. I.E. Ralof is cut off talking about Vilod's mead by the carriage stopping or one fo the guards saying General Tullius the Headsman is waiting after you pass Tullius and the Thalmor instead of in front of the gates. Think I should try it with default driver settings? I'm using 314.22 driver with Neo's instructions via Inspector.
  19. I'm just trying to eek out some more FPS so it runs faster without the ENB and therefore smoother with it. I'll look at those I think I edited them some but will check the values. As far as the FOV I just tried 85 (normally use 67) and O.O do the arms and stuff look weird. There's also the slight issues of the carts turning around and other funky things happening during Helgen intro; Hadvar and his horse are closer to the cart etc. I actually had just set them both (FOV) to 75 to test before reading your post
  20. Oh those were the vanilla ini files I'm tweaking them to fit with SR and GoS now. I was asking about the other performance tweaks.
  21. Pity it I didn't see this the other day. My copy of Morrowind is kinda trashed; technically it was my Dad's (I wasn't old enough to play it supposedly... hehe). It was in good condition for a while but unluckily something fell on top of it a few years ago and scratched it all the hell. Just as well I think it didn't run on anything past XP (or even XP can't remember think it required DOS). But hey the Creation Kit survived...
  22. I have the default ini in my Vanilla Skyrim Profile under Mod Organizer (fairly certain anyways) it doesn't seem to have the z-fighting tweaks at any rate. What would you recommend setting the draw distances to? I looked through the INI Tweaks sub-forum and didn't find too much in the way of explanations. Vanilla Skyrim.ini Vanilla SkyrimPrefs.ini
  23. Lies I don't believe you! Oh come on you're not reworking it in a new profile? Edit: Ok I believe you On a side note if anyone sees any deals on EVGA cards I'd appreciate a heads up (have a voucher for EVGA cards; pays a fair amount) playing on my laptop just isn't quite the same
  24. Odd... Neo would you mind posting yours (preferably with the list of mods it's overwriting)?
