  1. I think it is off. Actually what is the value for off 0 I would assume though does it apply to shiny object or just water? If it is 0 for off then it is on. TBH I'm still trying to find an ENB to stick with. You haven't updated yours yet right? I haven't seen an update notification.
  2. Well odd... As Levi is the author of both SUM and AV you might hit him up and ask for his guru advice; I'm sure he's probably seen just about everything. By chance have you tried deleting your AV, SUM and DSR mods from MO or whatever and then reinstalling from fresh downloaded files? Maybe your folder are corrupt or some weird ****. As for rootsrat problem maybe you should (once the SUM window opens after however long) go to Automatic variants and Dual Sheaths options and try unchecking import mods on startup that might help since you seem to have alot of mods. Again I'd probably defer to Levi as he probably knows about this issue.
  3. Odd... Seems to be my biggest hit ENB wise
  4. If I'm unsure about something I'll run FNIS, Wyre Bash and then SUM (which runs BOSS first) to be sure. Any changes to ANY skeleton though: animation or otherwise requires a re-run of FNIS I believe. But Neo I'm so jealous; I really wonder what is so different about your setup. I mean obviously this isn't an isolated issue. Are you and/or have you been running any mods you haven't included in Skyrim Revisited?
  5. I'm also running ASIS and ReProccer, but SUM can't run AV for me. It just hangs partway through processing. I can run it fine standalone. Been the case since the previous update to AV. Interestingly(?) I've found that occasionally, AV won't run standalone either, but restarting my pc will clear that; there's no lingering processes that I can see in Task Manager, but something is obviously hanging around. This may seem like a silly question but have you followed this part of levi's faq? I was having issues getting AV to patch as well after the latest AV update (through SUM or via AV patcher) and asked him about it he checked it out and added the section to his readme. It should work for DSR if you're having problems, I'd try it at the very least the worst that would happen (didn't to me) is you would have to pick out the tesxtures to include for the variants all over again (and that doesn't take very long for me).
  6. Alright thanks I'll try those. Any recommendations for the towns?
  7. No. SUM should give you an option like... Make sure in the SUM options tab to say merge patches and don't run the patchers manually. Just run SUM do not run AV patcher afterwards. Run SUM and you should be done.
  8. Oh I was responding to FCqt's comment on the first page about opening up the archive and taking the folders. I tried that didn't work.
  9. Odd. I just tried to make a custom archive with version 1.81 and get the same freeze error as through the nexus package for 1.81/1.8c/1.7b etc. (yes I used the belt quivers animation file and re-ran FNIS)
  10. Did you run SUM? It will say that until you do. It'll run Automatic Variants and then the Dual Sheath Redux Patcher.
  11. Good glad I could help.
  12. Yes I agree which is why I was making sure he followed the first steps part of the guide and then make sure he followed the rest. Now as you said your BUM is on your deskop is that what you are pointing MO to if so are you sure the one on your ddesktop is not a shortcut? My BOSS Userlist Manager is located in my Program Files (x86)
  13. No which .exe are you using for skyrim? Let's go step by step. I assume you followed his section https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited#The_First_Steps before doing anything else right?
  14. Could you describe how you installed BUM and how are you trying to load Skyrim. I.E. through the Skyrim Launcher or through SKSE?
  15. Meh no problem really, never hurts to do extra reading. By the by what would you recommend to help me eek out more fps outdoors grass on steroids? As far as draw distances go what would you recommend
  16. Personally I don't think you'll really see much difference performance wise and even then it'll be negligible. As Monty said it''ll still be faster than a platter drive. I'm currently using a Corsair GTX Neutron 240GB and have it about 50% full with my Skyrim Revisited Install + Windows 8 and my other Programs, etc. If you want some reliable tips on installing your OS on a SSD or maintenance I highly recommend the ones on overclock.net I haven't followed the one for Windows 7 but here it is https://www.overclock.net/t/1156654/seans-windows-7-install-optimization-guide-for-ssds-hdds They have a sticky for the subject here. https://www.overclock.net/t/1227308/storage-essentials-thread Hope it helps
  17. Which one? Oh Nevermind. You mentioned an ENB thread before I thought you were talking about the one for the wiki guide am I wrong? If so which thread.
  18. Well I would imagine that the larger the amount of VRAM you have the more "bloat" room it uses kind of like system RAM. It works that way for a lot of the programs I can think of whether or not they are correctly coded or not I don't have the time to try decompiling them to see. But I noticed that when I used 4GB of system RAM say Firefox for example would use 1024mb of system RAM under one of my normal usage conditions. I then opened up the same install with 16GB of system RAM and it used for example 2048mb. Obviously these aren't the exact figures but I did see an increase in the amount of System RAM a program uses dependent upon the amount of system RAM the computer has which sort of makes sense. But what I was asking was has anyone done a test to see which mods contribute the most to RAM usage? I could care less about VRAM usage as I usually have about 700MB-1GB Free VRAM at any given time it's the RAM that puzzles me and I have taken out many things like the loading screen additions as with my SSD's I rarely wait 1 second before it's loaded (3-5 with the ENB causing a slight hang in the runtime)
  19. I quite agree there is something HORRIBLY buggy about THAT DAMNED road. In fact it was so buggy it is where I would check for stability lmao because if I could get through there then I could get through just about anything. There were several spots in particular that had the most problems. The road also as you said never made me CTD just a freeze which I consider worse if not using Borderless Window as I have to log off Windows since task manager won't show up during a freeze without it. Alright this question is going to bug the hell out of me so I think I should make a thread. While testing some seam and weird fire glitches that showed up more prominently with an ENB (to where I actually posted for feedback on them) I noticed what a disparity there was between VRAM and RAM usage between Vanilla (Optimized HRDLC, USKP, UHRP + ENB) and Fully Modded (Skyrim Revisited + Extras and ENB). I used Vanilla to determine if it was a mod causing the issue either through effects or textures which wasn't the case. Anyone else here interested in helping me figure out what mods are causing the most RAM bloat (thereby contributing to the 3GB Crash)? If so I'll make a thread in the main S.T.E.P. forums.
  20. Winner, winner chicken dinner. Seam is in Vanilla with HRDLC and USKP, UHRP Oh the horror I forgot HOW bad the farmhouses and wood poles looked *shudders*. Save me. All this testing has made me curious. Vanilla with Optimized HRDLC, USKP and UHRP ran between 900-1250 MB of RAM and about a constant 1000-1350MB VRAM the VRAM was always higher so my question is what causes the RAM to bloat so much is it a script mod or just the textures (I realize it's more of a combination but which mod contributes the most). I mean fully modded I use about 2600-2850 RAM with optimized textures and about 2250 VRAM. There seems to be a significant disparity here.
  21. The fire does not seem to be from a mod at all while I was playing vanilla (with the unofficial patches and my optimized HRDLC but nothing else) I still saw it with and without ENB. I'll look for the seam in a few.
  22. True if this doesn't work I think I'll be switching back to SkullTyrant's custom skeletons. @Luinithill SkullTyrants's skeleton's offer that capability I think it's custom skeleton 105 or 106 you'd need. IDK if it has dagger's at ankles. There's also one for Armed to the Teeth as well if you like that idea. @Neo do we install the animations as well?
  23. I will try that and get back to you. But yeah I figured people's posts were getting buried in the other threads so I made this one. Manual install works huh, very weird. Neo how exactly have you been installing it? Out of curiosity I wonder which option I'd need to have swords at hips daggers on back. The swords on back seem clunky if it's not a greatsword to me.
  24. How so? I'm not sure which settings you are talking about. But as you can see it is happening both with and without the ENB. And also which of the problems are you speaking of the weird fire thing or the "seam" I think I've sort of fixed the fire thing it is still there before Alduin breathes fire but disappears after. So this is partially fixed
  25. I'm making a thread for XP32 Skeleton problems as I've noticed a few in here and I myself have had problems with it. I also have a problem with fire effects showing through which is in my ENB thread if anyone wants to give me a fresh set of eyes. Grats on Admin Neovalen.
