Setting up SkyRe is turning into a real freakin' headache! Since I've never used it before SkyRe seems very daunting and it needs patches for just about everything and I'm getting sick from all the time I've spent recently on TES5Edit. But OK, I've wanted to try it for a long time so I'm willingly enduring this suffering. Now, what do I do if I'm using the amidian Content Addon + Unique Uniques but I'm not using Immersive Armors/Weapons? Xathra doesn't actually provide a Pre/Post Proccer with these config. So...

Hmm.. I had a similar though much smaller issue with the AOS_SkyRe patch. What the heck is actually conflicting here? Since you're here krypto, in the Weapon records conflicting between AOS_WAF and AOS_SkyRe, the latter is supposed to be the conflict winner, right?

Several would be the word, yes. Here's some good ones: The list is endless with smilies of course but IMO, they make a big difference to the general feel of a forum.

So I've been trying to setup a new profile with SkyRe and I don't quite get how things work yet. The first instruction from the SkyRe section is to delete SkyRe_Main.esp, but this file is obviously necessary to make everything work and I don't see a replacement anywhere? But, I may very well be missing.. Another thing is that, although this is obvious, there's no mention in the Patchers section to create an executable for the ReProccer.esp nor in what order it should be executed. I ran it after NPC Enchant Fix but this apparently made no difference as LOOT still places it before all DSRP, ASIS and NPC Enchant Fix. I've checked with TES5Edit and it apparently doesn't conflict with any of them and is only the loser of a few records from qotsafans Misc Reproccer (as it should be). But it also didn't pick up some of the changes from the CCOR_SkyRe patch and possibly others, I haven't had the time to check in detail.. There is also no mention to activate qotsafans patches after you've executed all Skyproc Patchers (otherwise it will be sorted before ASIS, etc), I only noticed this because of Garfink's load order but it seems that with that configuration ASIS and NPC Enchant Fix's perks get lost on a few NPCs. As a side note, for anyone who is bothered by some women in Skyrim walking as if they've got a pair of gonads between their legs I've made patches for Feminine Females to use with Clothing & Clutter Fixes, Morrowloot, Bring Out Your Dead, SkyRe, UDBP and Revenge of the Enemies. I'm dropping it here in case anyone here is interested. Note you don't actually need Feminine Females to use any of them. Excellent SPdawg, I was planning on doing an in-game comparison of various rock and mountain mods for my own but now when I do I'll post 'em up for you folks. Maybe I should make them gifs as well, a lot less cluttering that way. Or would in-game comparison defeat the "technical" bit of this thread? Your call.

You guys would be better off posting these questions on the DDSopt Support forum. Kelmych moderates that forum and he's STEP's DDSopt expert. I know SR:LE does have DDSopt instructions but you may get more support over there. I personally followed these instructions and didn't end up with the issues you're reporting.

Well, I don't know what version 0.3 looked like, just found out about this mod and it looks totally brilliant. Haven't tried it in-game but here's some shots from the mod page: Really, how cool is that?!

Oh.. didn't even notice! I normally just click the View New Content tab. We should put this up for testing then! I'm also keeping Quality Snow. BL is pretty good as well but the road isn't it's highest selling point. What did you think of AMB's?

Why is this not tagged for testing? Anyways, as I've already taken the screenies, I might as well post them for you peeps who might be interested. I initially took these for my own so I included Better Landscape Skyrim which I know you don't like but I don't care. I was also testing both of InsanitySorrow's Snow Replacers but neither come with a snow road texture so the clipping is pretty horrific. Locations are Dawnstar and a familiar site (I hope!). Album Order is: aMidianborn Landscape > Better Landscape > STEP (High Quality Snow) > Quality Snow > Quality Snow Dark > SRO I also accidentally found out why Terrain Bump overrides High Quality Snow's normals. Well done guys! Used as is, it's ah.. well, not for me. HQS without Terrain Bump: So yeah, Terrain Bump is used in all of the comparison shots, k?

In my XP, sound overhauls are much, much less demanding on your system than textures/meshes and my specs are amongst the lowest here at the forums so take my word for it. And believe me, you've no idea what you're in for! Unless you're one of those people that don't really pay attention to your aural environment well, I can't really relate to you as I am a musician.. As for overhauls, well, if you go for Sounds of Skyrim dungeons will never be the same. Never! You'll love all the eagles screams while you're out traveling the tundra with The Wilds. Civilization was the one I didn't really cared too much for tbh, but you can always hide sounds you don't like. The problem with SoS is that it only adds sounds over Vanilla and for an overall enhancement of reverb, footsteps, spell sounds, etc, AoS is really your best bet. I still miss SoS but you can't have everything and AoS has more scope overall. You may notice that sometimes sounds will play slightly delayed, though. This is much more noticeable with smaller mods such as IHSS, so don't worry about it.

When clicking View All you actually have to scroll to the right to view the smilies, could it be shrinked down for both smilies and text to be viewed at the same time? Also, gotta be honest, the forums could use a few more smilies, I keep stealing the ones from TES Alliance. Would really bring more life to the forums, imo.

No, it isn't. Besides, if you followed this guide you should have installed Mature Skin for textures for women and I think Better Males (not sure) for men. Did you optimized those, too? You shouldn't, if you did.

Because they're adding new items to the game and, if the armors use Leveled lists, it is important you do so.

Yes, in theory, it's possible. Things to keep in mind is not to go crazy with this stuff i.e., I wouldn't recommend merging Immersive Armors with any other armor mod. Also, always uncheck "Renumber Form IDs" unless you know what you're doing and Check for Errors after merging, then saving, then loading your new plugin and check for errors again (sometimes TES5Edit won't recognize there are errors until after you've loaded it again). If you are also using Wrye Bash then add the Relev tag to your armor mods when you build your Bashed Patch.

Moonlight Tales is fine, just read the mod page and don't enable NPC to NPC stuff etc and you should be OK. DD is also fine and imo a rather essential mod in any setup. Only keep in mind that Run for Your Lives won't work in dragons spawned by DD, at least, AFAIK.

I suggest you test your performance first with all the Core files installed except SFO and take note of your performance loss (if any) after installing it. In any case, SFO isn't a master for any STEP patch so yes, you can still use the patch.. As for Trees HD, it is just textures so you can install/uninstall at will.

I took these using my main profile so it has ELFX in with Predator Vision to lit the place a lil' bit. I even used my Wolf armor to match. CaBal's > SoY 2K It's not that I dislike this retext but I prefer the darker colors and smoother look from AMB.
