pack Dreadflopps Modular patches
dreadflopp replied to dreadflopp's topic in Step Skyrim LE Packs (retired)
I'll check that. For now, here is a fixed leveled list for PerMa :) https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15909840/MMO/PerMa%20Leveled%20Item%20Morrowlooted.7z I removed everything that should be removed. Orcs have orc gear from lvl 1. Removed everything lvl 20+ from the new lists with amulets/necklaces etc. I did this list with a vanilla version of Skyrim+PerMa with wintermyst. I figured we could skip using the leveled list from PerMa and use this and the bashed patch leveled list. For this to work, this patch/leveled list needs to be loaded after PerkusMaximus.esp. This patch should be merged with the bashed patch and automatically become unticked by wrye bash when you rebuild the bashed patch. The bashed patch plugin needs to be loaded AFTER PerkusMAximus.esp. PerkusMaximus.esp needs to be deactivated (or at least the leveled list option unticked) when building the bashed patch. If this messes something up with Perkus Maximus needs to be checked for with TES5. We should probably skip other weapons mods for now, like lore weapons expansion etc. It is possible that I need to make a Morrowloot/PerMa version of these if the are to work. Armor mods should work right? Or does PerMa change which armors are light or heavy? -

Decided to take a look but I didn't find any leveled lists in the PerMa plugins? Are the leveled lists in the plugin built by the patcher? Tried to run the patcher but got an unknown error after an hour or two (no text in a dialogue window that didn't respond.) Edit: Found the .xml in the install folder of PerMa. Adding stuff to this .xml is not going to work. To much stuff. -

It may be a little time consuming if the leveled lists are long. It is not as much work as you first may think though. You don not have to delete items from the sublists as long as you make sure the sublist isn't used. You can use morrowloots leveled lists as a template to see should be deleted and what shouldn't -

I haven't started with PerMa yet. Real life have gotten in the way. I believe most mods in the pack are compatible with PerMa. It's just PerMa that needs to get morrowlootified. Which means going through the levelled list and remove what needs to be removed (as you know). I will do it as soon as I get any free time. I did buy Dragon age inquisition yesterday though, which will steal some time too I'm afraid ... -

Thanks, I have been meaning to ask to have the topic title changed since we started this pack but I have never gotten around to do it. :) -

I don't support BOSS anymore, I use LOOT. I left all BOSS rules in the guide for users that uses BOSS. Loot and degradation is mostly scripted. I don't believe it has any conflicts with other plugins. Just make up a BOSS rule or use LOOT. -

First of all, sorry for the late answer. I have been busy with real life (moving, building IKEA furniture, painting walls, laying floors etc etc etc) I don't have much information on what to merged unfortunately. All REGS patches can be merged and all ETaC patches can be merged. Do not renumber when doing these. There are many successful merges on this page https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?showtopic=1033740 If you are refereing to my custom setup, all mods are installed in the order of the guide including the "other mods". No other bash tags etc other than those in the guides I am referring too /STEP, SR:LE, REGS and of course MMO). If you want to try SPERG, just remove the skill mods from my guide and install SPERG and the unofficial SPERG patches. Reinstall better leveling and Apocalypse, check the guide on what to install. Beware, though, the unofficial SPERG/Weapons and armor fixes patch is out of date. Shouldn't be game breaking though. I haven't started with integrating PerMa into this guide yet. The main thing that needs to be fixed is patching it for morrowloot. This means editing the leveled list of PerMa. I will do it as soon as I get time for it. It will still take awhile I'm afraid. -

Make a copy of the original plugin, rename it (the renamed copy will become the patch), delete everything except the leveled list from the patch. Edit the leveled list of the patch. Add bash tags relev delev to the patch. Untick the original plugin when rebuilding the bashed patch. The patch should be merged with the bashed patch. You will have the original plugin with the leveled list overwritten by the bashed patch. -

I haven't tried them. I thought they just meant that the plugin wouldn't be merged with the bashed patch? Anyway, I beleieve I have figured out how to patch AmidianBorn content addon, lore weapons expansion etc without making replacements. Poise systems sounds good, I am thinking it might not work well with duel though since they both alter how combat works. Tomes sounds good too. I usually don't play with characters that use magic but I am going too change that and use magic in my current playthrough. Might try some of the mods. I have heard positive things about how TTR skill overhaul alters the magic schools, which is what I use now. There is also PerMa, which is going to be added to the pack. ADS.esp is from Smooth blade draw and Sheathe -

From a quick glance it looks good but I don't know all armors. I'm in the middle of moving right now but I'll add them as soon as I get a chance to. Thanks for the help, it's appreciated. -

Not at all. I see no problems with this. If you want to help you could recommend lore friendly low level armors and shields from IA to use with this pack and I'll include them in the guide. -
I agree with IdiotDave. It is already way better than vanilla. I don't have an eye for textures but to me they are flawless and ready to be used in the next STEP version. I have used them for quite some time now. Tried UNP but immediately went back to your textures.

Help identify keyword error in STEP Extended patch.esp
dreadflopp replied to dreadflopp's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Thanks already did. I wanted to identify the source of the record to know if this was something that was just in my install and therefore had to be added to the "delete from STEP patch" section of my pack. Now I know I don't need to. Thanks! -
I was posting about an error I got in a record in the help/troubleshooting section. I first believed the error was because I have a custom STEP install. I now believe this is an error in the STEP Extended patch and that the cause is a cutting room floor update. The error is in the record 0004a38f and the cause is a keyword from cutting room floor that probably has changed formid. The weapon and armor fixes remade stats seems to be wrong to. Help identify keyword error in STEP Extended patch.esp

Nevermind, remembered there is a detailed record list in the STEP patch changelog. -
CivV is the other game I play. I have never played it with any mods though. Do you mind sharing a link to your mods?

Help identify keyword error in STEP Extended patch.esp
dreadflopp posted a question in General Skyrim LE Support
I got an TES5Edit <error could not be resolved> in the STEP Extended patch. The error is the keyword [0601A409] and it is in the record [0004A38F] 'DA08EbonyBlade'. I have an install of STEP that is a little custom. It is very possible this error is because of a mod I have updated/uninstalled. I have tried reverting my STEP install to a more default state with no luck. If Anyone with a default STEP Extended install want to check if they got this error in TES5Edit I'd be very grateful. Thanks! -

As requested, my load order: Edit: I usually played with Dragon combat overhaul, living takes time and better vampires. They are temporarily disabled while I'm looking for the mod that causes script latency. -

Probably but I haven't tried. Merge them (untick renumbering), restart tes5 and check for errors. If there are no errors you are good to go. Beards.esp and brows.esp can be merged. Edit: my personal patches can probably be merged with the mmo patches too. -

I'll post it when I get home in 9-10 hours. Don't know if I'll get time to test the tweak today. The warnings from frostfall hasn't been very frequent but they are there every now and then. -

If you add Audio overhaul skyrim and let that overwrite the audio mods in mime, you can use the STEP core patches from my new patches. Read the patch section from mmo. https://wiki.step-project.com/Pack:Skyrim_Gameplay_Overhaul#Patches_2 Don't forget to install patches for audio overhaul skyrim if they are not included in the combined plugin patch from STEP. -

@hishutup I'll definitely try those methods the next time I suffer from script latency. They look interesting. Thanks! I play without enhanced blood textures, wet and cold and footprints btw.
