Strange graphical glitch when loading a save
GSDFan replied to Dragora's question in Mod Organizer Support
People have had limited success getting OBSE to run in MO. If I remember you have to mod in MO and then run the game from the game launcher. MO must be set to Script extender in settings, workarounds, Load Mechanism. Take a look at OBSE will not load when launching with MO. You may be able to figure out how to configure a shortcut to start the game. Edit: I just saw this post about getting MO to recognize Nehrim- 21 replies

Heavy stutter when loading new cells in modded game
GSDFan replied to Spacebadger's question in General Skyrim LE Support
@Spacebadger Pardon the interruption. I would be interested in the monitor technology you are using along with your GTX 1060. Is it a G-sync monitor? Thanks -
your_drive_letter:\SteamLibrary\steamapps etc. I always try to change the default folders that steam sets up. I currently have three different ones, Would have been two, but I recently lost a drive and I added an extra Steamlibrary reinstalling everything.

Other than your paths, hookbase and loadLibraryAAddr, my F4se_loader log looks like yours. Your game is installed in the My documents folder why is this? Not saying it is your problem, just saying. They are also Microsoft controlled system folders.

[Feature Request] Profile independent AND dependent mod folders
GSDFan replied to JimmyBoi's question in Mod Organizer Support
Unfortunately development on MO2 is all but stopped as Tannin has moved on the the NMM team. You could try asking for your request at Release Beta 4.2 · LePresidente/modorganizer, but the development there is mostly to get Skyrim SE integration. ePresidente lacks the coding skills to make large scale changes to the code. The left pane is considered a pool of installed mods. Through naming and category use you should be able to separate your personal mods from the STEP ones. -

I have installed the Radrose Usability Enhancements - Improved DEF_UI plus VIS patch collection and let the overwrite the DEF_Inv_tags, Def_inv_Tabs and LyrConf.xml files. it took care of that for me.

I see you asked this in the [WIP] Mator Smash forum, so I will provide a link to the answer there.

I have to download this and Oblivion. When I do I will see what happens.

When I use bUseCombinedObjects=0 and bUsePreCulledObjects=0 and start a new game the vault gate and platform disappear. Setting them back to 1 the gate and platform come back.

Mod Organiizer won't run TESV.exe
GSDFan replied to thehoodzboss's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
I would rename the ModOrganizer.ini in 1.3.11 before you run it on the new install of Skyrim. This will reset MO for first run. -
The Lore Abernathy Farm looks good, but I like to build my own. I had Conquest in my load order, but never really made use of it though. Right now I am rebuilding my load order due to some issues I have encountered so I am going to follow the Modwiki guide and see if that helps.

@Gernash, have you seen Improved Electrical Towers (Proper Collison) that has recently appeared on the Nexus. It can be installed before Electrical Tower 8K 4K 2K to keep those textures. It provides a mesh to correct collision so we can build high.

Mod Organiizer won't run TESV.exe

When I look at the logs just posted it looks like Files from Skyrim SE. Mod Organiizer won't run TESV.exe
GSDFan replied to thehoodzboss's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
In post 9 the log is from running TESV.exe, not the skse loader. This line shows that, INFO (13:37:00.0474): injecting to D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim\TESV.exe. If you ran the skse loader the line would end with skse_loader.exe. You need to exit MO, find the MO logs folder, usually ModOrganizer\logs, in version 1.3.11 of MO and delete any logs there. Run MO and run SKSE from MO. Let everything run even if it crashes and exit MO. You should have at two files in the log folder, mo_interface.log and ModOrganizer.log. Post the contents of those files here. -
I have had the missing elevator and has caused me many hours of reinstalling mods and am not sure what really fixed it. By the way I am not using any of the modwiki files. I think it may be a bad edit in an ini file. I would back them up and recreate just vanilla files and start a new game to see if it helps. I have also had problems with exiting vault 111 and getting a black world with only hud elements and is definitely a mod load order problem / worldspace/ cell conflict. Edit: If you have a Fallout4Custom.ini don't forget rename that so it stops loading.

On the FPS issue, if you have a G-Sync monitor you have to set the Monitor technology in the Nvidia control panel to "Fixed Refresh". This stopped my FPS drops in game. Limit the fps in the enb if you have it installed.

MO2 Unchecks all DLC masters when closing LOOT app after sorting
GSDFan replied to neonxeon's question in Mod Organizer Support
You should stick with one or the other. I believe the internal sort will not use any user defined sort from the main program though. -
MO2 Unchecks all DLC masters when closing LOOT app after sorting
GSDFan replied to neonxeon's question in Mod Organizer Support
The unchecking of the plugins in MO is the expected behavior of these tools as they get updated. They are following the Beth decision the the game does not load the official plugins at launch. It is likely that MO will not get updated to correct this either. This leaves you with either using the older LOOT or you can select all of the official ESMs and lock the load order. When you exit LOOT recheck them and they will move back into position. To lock the load order, move the ESMs into position and select all of them with either shift click the first and last file or control click each and then right click and select lock load order. -
various issues w/ MO2 and SSE (mostly wrye bash)
GSDFan replied to noctred's question in Mod Organizer Support
Good to know, but I have a question. Did you ever run Wrye outside of MO? I have and the folder and files were created in the vanilla directory. I then remove the bashed patch ESP to its own mod in MO. I never really had a problem running Wrye from MO. -
Question about large load orders/MS workflow
GSDFan replied to twizz0r's question in Mator's Utilities Support (archived, read-only)
The merge plugins program is made for that. There is a way to do it with both programs. You should check out Mator Smash Quick Start - Nexus Wiki, in particular 3.4 Combining Smashed Patches and Merged Plugins. This should answer your question.
