All Grey Screen with no Freeze
GSDFan replied to Spartacusds's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I just took a look through your Skyrimprefs.ini, post 20, and I noticed that the setting "iMaxAnisotropy" was set to 8, which equates to Anisotropic Filtering 0f 8 in the launcher settings. I believe that Anisotropic Filtering should be set to "Off (Best Performance)" when using an ENB as the ENB handles that. I have always set both Anisotropic Filtering and Antialiasing to off when using ENB. -
Missing extra Option for MO (not a bug, just an idea)
GSDFan replied to rpg4e's question in Mod Organizer Support
No problem, I should have said "remove from view" in the download section instead of hide. As a general rule we do not delete posts to keep continuity in the forums. If the remove from view is missing from your language and you can replicate it, you may want to make a report on the issue tracker. As a last note, I am GSDFan. The "Jarl" above the picture is a title given to members by the system and changes the more you post. Happy modding. -
Missing extra Option for MO (not a bug, just an idea)
GSDFan replied to rpg4e's question in Mod Organizer Support
Welcome to the forums. Feature requests should be made on the issue tracker on github where Tannin will more likely see it. There is a right click feature to hide mods in the downloads tab if that is any help. -
No chance to activate Bashed Patch [Wyre Bash]
GSDFan replied to Abalue's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Just a thought here, check the vanilla data folder for the bashed patch. I remember that once in a while it would get created there. Edit: I would always disable my bashed patch mod before I ran Wrye bash. I think Wrye does not use the old BP, but creates a new one when run. This way the new one will go to the overwrite folder. When done you can enable the mod again and right click the overwrite folder and select sync to mods to move files to the mod. Not all files will move though so you will nave to manually move the rest. -
SKYRIMLE Mod Organizer messes up load order when switching profiles
GSDFan replied to Avastgard's question in Mod Organizer Support
OK, assuming MO 1.3.11. Do you see the info panel at the bottom of the window? If not hover the mouse in the lower area by filter until in changes and pull up. If you uncheck a mod does it update the messages like plugins.txt and modlist.txt has been saved? Also where is the game, MO installed? If it is in the program files path there may be UAC issues going on. -
SKYRIMLE Mod Organizer messes up load order when switching profiles
GSDFan replied to Avastgard's question in Mod Organizer Support
I am just wondering if the OP is confusing the purpose of the left pane. All mods show up in the left pane no matter what. So when switching profiles they will show up. If the state of mods changes between switches the that may be another problem. -
Try deleting the mo_interface.log in the logs folder.
-
That should be empty, fomod installer(external). That feature is built into the program. There should be an NCC folder in the main MO folder that it will use. As long as everything is working you don't have to worry about it.

I currently use the one install for all supported games and have not run into any problems. Switching games is not a problem. Note that I mainly play FO4 at the moment, but I have a small Skyrim install to test things. I am slowly starting to test the other games when time permits. Just to add, this is how I have MO and the games installed. MO is on my E drive which is a regular HDD. i install most programs that I can in E:\PC Installed Programs\ program name to avoid UAC issues and to keep the C SSD drive at a reasonable size. Steam is installed in E:\PCGames\ for the same reasons along with GalaxyClient, NMM and Ubisoft game launcher. All the games it supports are installed on a SSD, which is my D drive and non support supported games go on the E drive in E:\PCGames\Steam\steamapps\common. I pointed the paths of the Downloads, Mods, Profiles directories in each supported game in MO to a Central location on the E drive in E:\Modorganizer Central. I left the Caches and Overwrite paths at the default settings so all of the stuff generated in MO will go to the AppData directory. If I remember I did have a problem when I changed the Overwrite path. I can't remember what it was and I did not write down the issue.

[WIP] Boston Atomic Bomb Yankee - BABY (Fallout 4)
GSDFan replied to Kesta's topic in Unofficial Fallout 4 Guides
What is the problem you are having? When I run it the option is greyed out, but the "All DLC" is selected. I checked it with FO4edit and it loads all of the DLC. When I disable one of the DLC and rerun the installer it makes the appropriate selection for what I have and the options is still greyed out. It appears to be operating properly to me. -
The BSA extractor is gone from MO2 in its current form. Take a look at post 26 in the Mod Organizer 2 Discussion and Feedback section. Hopefully it will be back at some point.

Does Mod Organizer support Fallout 4
GSDFan replied to fyrflygrl's question in Mod Organizer Support
Each profile in MO should use its own XX.ini files and there is an option in the management section to make the saves for that profile only and they will not show up in another profile. Currently the game still writes the saves to the My Games folder and not the profile folder when it is enabled. This allows you to have different characters with different mod and saves going on at the same time. -
Does Mod Organizer support Fallout 4
GSDFan replied to fyrflygrl's question in Mod Organizer Support
You should take a look at Issues · TanninOne/modorganizer and decide for yourself. That being said, for me it is stable enough and if development stopped I would still use it in its current state. You should be willing to participate in the research and reporting of bugs on the issue tracker. Most of the problems look to be user / system specific. There are some problems that I can reproduce and some I can't. Right now the local saves, profiles use the files in my games. MO will crash if the user moves a file and an executable is run right after that move. If you rename an already installed mod it will deactivate and move to the highest priority. -
Mod Organizer 2 Discussion and Feedback
GSDFan replied to TechAngel85's question in Mod Organizer Support
NO, My setup has Skyrim, Oblivion Fallout 3, Fallout NV and Fallout 4 on D drive and the rest of my games on E drive with Steam installed on the E drive in a PC Installed Programs folder. Most of my programs are installed in the PC Installed Programs folder to avoid UAC issues from the Program Files folders. Can you run the game from Steam by itself? -
Google Chrome Can't Download from Skyrim Nexus using MO
GSDFan replied to Idonea's question in Mod Organizer Support
Holiday weekend (US) + summer picnic sale = nexus problems. -
Welcome to the forums I am assuming MO 1.3.11 here. Each mod installed in MO has its own folder to keep the vanilla data directory clean, so there is not a Data folder to look at. You can run a program like the 32bit free commander through MO and look at the data folder, which is what the game will see. MOs left pane will show files in conflict with other mods by highlighting them when a mod is selected. Remember that in MO a mod with a higher priority will always win a conflict. I have to cut this short, off to work

I am a fan of the Star Trek franchise, just not the games.

This may help the next time you install MO or any executable run through it. In Windows 10 when I install MO, LOOT, F4SE and FO4Edit I do the following before I run the executable. I go to the executable location and click on any EXE, DLL files to highlight them. Next I right click to get the context menu and select properties. In the properties window I select unblock. Depending on your AV package there may be a selection to allow an exception there also. Norton has File Insight that I always set to trust. You are bypassing security settings so be careful when doing this.

When I updated to 0.9.1 I had a crash on initial run, but a second try it ran fine. Have you tried setting the game in the argument? --game=Gamename, where gamename is the name of the game.

Mod Organizer 2 Discussion and Feedback
GSDFan replied to TechAngel85's question in Mod Organizer Support
Tannin said Av false positives have to be fixed in the av software so you should report them there and not on the not the github. Post 765 Windows defender. probably goes for all AV software. -
MO w/ SKSE Loader screen resolution problem
GSDFan replied to undeadsorcer's question in Mod Organizer Support
MO will copy the vanilla configuration files when a new profile is created. -
MO w/ SKSE Loader screen resolution problem
GSDFan replied to undeadsorcer's question in Mod Organizer Support
In MO v1.3.11 each profile will use the configuration files for that profile. If you run the game launcher from inside of MO you can you can set the resolution for that profile. None of the other profiles or the default configuration files will be touched. -
This sounds like issue 753 on the github site. Please remember that MO2 is still in development and you will run into problems, but it is getting better with each release. If you use MO2 beta you should be willing to participate in testing its functionality, researching and posting of bugs on the github site.

[WIP] Boston Atomic Bomb Yankee - BABY (Fallout 4)
GSDFan replied to Kesta's topic in Unofficial Fallout 4 Guides
At the install options pick the manual option. You will have problems if you select the Autoinstaller, at least I did. Then it is just a simple copy to the root folder like any other enb. You do not enable the mod in the left pane. -
Update.esm and Skyrim.esm is greyed out and can't start the game
GSDFan replied to Tehepicduckez's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
Please sort the right pane by priority with 0, Zero, at the top. You will see that you do not have the proper priority to the ESPs and ESMs. To sort by priority click on the Priority header until zero is at the top. Skyrim.esm should be first followed by update.esm then everything else.
