  1. I'll give it a try. Thanks much. Nope no go. I used the uninstaller to remove loot and ran search to see if there was any more LOOT laying around. Then downloaded the installer and ran it and chose a partision on another drive to load it. I ticked "skyrim game" and clicked on "sort" and error "LOOT stoped running, windows can find a remedy on line...blah...blah. I don't get it. LOOT has always worked so well in the past. Not sure what to do now
  2. Are we sure that the video for installing LOOT is correct? I'm following it to the letter but when ever I click on "sort" I get the "LOOT needs to close"error" I haven't found anything in other topics about this happening. I ran TESVEdit and did not get any errors. I've got the STEP Expanded downloaded, and the Patch. Everything works except for LOOT. I've had Skyrim running before with no problems but switched to FONV for a while.
  3. Thanks for the replies. The game crashes outside of the vault. Something didn't install properly. I'll just start over.
  4. In my new start the water fountains and bathroom sinks do not heal when I drink from them In vault 101. Anyone know where to start to locate this problem? I'll continue to go out of the vault and see if anything changes.
  5. I just installed the "Advanced Recon-Trap detection" mod and Following the instructions for merging the esp's. The line: From the top dropdown select merge plugins V1.65 and click OK. The v1.65 does not show in the dropdown menu. All I find is 'merge plugins' option. Is this supposed to be renamed somewhere? or did I miss something?
  6. "Error: Failed to calculate the load order. Details: Cyclic interaction detected between plugins "FO3 Wanderers Edition - More Gore.esp" and "FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Point Lookout.esp". Back cycle: FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Point Lookout.esp, FO3 Wanderers Edition - More Gore.esp" How do I correct this Error in LOOT?
  7. "Yes all other 3rd party starts , If I click the Fallout Launcher in MO, steam , & then Fallout Launcher & the music starts , can use options , but clicking play nothing happens" According to this statement Steam is being started in MO. Last time I tried this the game would not start. I think Steam takes to much time to load. Start Steam outside of MO and see what happens.
  8. Whats the secret to getting FO3 to recognize FOSE? Did I miss somthing in the guide? Never mind. It's fixed. Now I need to do some fine tunning though the stutter is real bad, in fact it's worse than stutter it's down right hesitation.
  9. If you have tweaked the ini file with the font change and haven't added the UI mods the game will crash. If you use the bashed patch in wrye try unticking the box and see if the game starts.
  10. I have a question about Wrye Flash. For some reason it is not recognizing 'fose v1.2b2' the green box is ticked but when I start the game through wrye I get a error box saying it's not installed or the version is not up to date, but it is. ??????
  11. Are you using a bashed patch? If so, un tick it and try the game again.
  12. I'm having an issue with "fose" not installed or needs to be updated. when running the game with wrye flash. I just get constant error window. bet fose is in and the check box for fose enabled is checked. It's ok when I run the game with fose loader. This happens when I create a new fo3edit patch after installing more mods.
  13. If you run into the problem with the cursor and menu and pipboy being blacked out check this thread. https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1862600-no-cursormenu-only-when-bashed-patch-active/ It's not the ENB. I have v249 installed and I looks great. To prevent the game crashing during start up I unchecked the bash patch and created a patch with FO3Edit and itseems to be working fine now. I hope this helps guys! Also, I have given up on MO for now and just use Wrye Flash. Too many things go wrong when I use MO and I don't know where to begin to solve a problem when one pops up. MO is too complicated for now.
  14. Should the INI tweaks be done after the mods are all in?
  15. Fallout 3 was crashing on start up untill I removed the Darn UI font tweak that is in the guide and placed the original font back in.
  16. FO3 Edit keeps hanging on this error, but I don't know why it's looking for it bcause I haven't, nor can I find a mod by that name. Does anyone know where or what mod this .esp goes to? This problem is solved! I found the mod with 5ALIVE in it on another site, but I dont think we need it.
  17. I think I'm going batty! When I download "DarnUI support for FWE 6-02-2761.7z" mod using the download with manager button it shows "Primary Needs Sound Disabler" yet it has the right files but I didn't install it cause I thought I already had primary needs sound disabler installed. Any way that's why I don't have the files you mentioned in your in your post. No folder named 'main'. Good job Kelmych and thanks!
  18. OOPs sorry FO3 A clear and present danger
  19. I've reached the first "Vault Boys say" point and didn't have any fonts showing in the character generation screen but I could still hear the clicking sound as the mouse passed over the options. In the pip boy the display is empty. I'm not sure though what has gone wrong. I varified the cashe files through steam and tried without any mods and no change. Any ideas other than complete re-install?
  20. This is a big improvement over what already was great. Way ta go! Aiyen!
  21. My AMD 7970 has no trouble with STEP and ENB. In fact I'm supprised how cool it runs.
  22. I did not install the mod in the correct order. You can mark this as solved.
  23. @peppergomez, Does the water flash in and out on the surface or is it a distant view problem?
  24. Hey Aiyen! I posted a question or problem in the ENB forum. Check it out and get back to me. I's concerning Skylighting v5.0
  25. I had this happen a couple of times a while back and I think it was related to an ENB. Do you have an ENB installed?
