I loaded skylight ENB into my new playthrough and for some reason the outdoors is hazey and washed out. Does this have anything to do with the updated Skylighting 5.0? It seems like gamma is set way low, but I haven't made any changes to it. Indoors looks awsome.

No problem here in socal with Timewarner
-
I suspected it may not be so simple. Thanks for the info, this gives me a place to start tweaking around without making to big of a mess. PS Aiyen, I haven't seen anything unusual with Skylight so far. It's still the ENB that comes the closest to what I like and works well at matching the exteriors to interiors using the recommend interior lighting mods. Keep up the good work.

There is one specific area or element of ENB's I would like to be able to adjust. That is the brightness of all things that are 'white' or reflect 'sunlight. Items such as 1-Snow. What do I need to tweak to not only change the intensity of the brightness but also the shade of white. 2- plants and Terrain like dead tree limbs and shinny bark. I don't know if these are bright white spots because of light reflecting off of them or a texture problem or the fact that they may have snow on them. How do I reduce white with out changing brightness or make shadows not so black wthout changing gamma which if I'm not mistaken is a degree of 'black to white' adjustment I have used Imaginator to adjust to a small extent but making large changes to Imaginator I think messes up interior settings. I would like to be able to make seperate changes to exterior without changing interior. And I also don't wish to become an expert at ENB settings just to make a few small adjustments????

Having a problem with uGridsToLoad.
bitdman replied to Halde's question in General Skyrim LE Support
In your Data folder (which is in your Skyrim folder) create a folder named SKSE. then inside that folder create a folder named plugins. This is where the dll. file from the cellstablizer mod should go. Just drag and drop it if you want to make sure it gets there. -
Sorry for the late thanx comaro_69_327. I had forgotten about this question. The question it's self was hard to make clear also. Your explanation was very good. So much thought, for something so unimportant.

Maybe a 1-10 rating vote on packs, but no why or whynot info on specific packs. just a 'rate the pack' poll. This could let users know what packs seem to be more popular then you admins. could figure out why some are more popular than others.

I'm assuming files that conflict need to be dealt with by removing the conflicting files from one mod or the other to solve the conflict. But, 'mismatched' files also appear as conflicting. Are mismatched files (they appear as a yellow box) harmful or can they be ignored? Can the mods that are involved in the mismatched files be combined and renamed so as to appear as a green box and as such, be considered safe and conflict free? I guess I'm confused as to the differance between upper and lower level conflicts.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? This Tool looks and sounds very promising. But how it works is over my head and the english interpritation is confusing. Has anyone checked this out? It may be as big as the memory patch?

Assets (textures) get (sometimes) corrupted when installing mods
bitdman replied to wolverine2710's question in Mod Organizer Support
Have you tried running mods through wryebash to detect if files are missmatched? -
Learn what you can about 'Load Order' I think the majority of CTD's are caused by this. Arthmoor at Dark Creations has offered some good info in a Wiki, but I can't remember where I saw it as it was some time ago. Google the subject.Â

Thanks for all the input. I only have 54 processes running so I must be ok. I defrag on a regular bases and have used ccleaner for years. I think I'll move the OS to an SSD and use the standard HDD's for storage. Merry Christmas and happy New Year to all. You guys ROCK Skyrim!!
-
The HDD is 7200 RPM Here is the start up page for CCleaner. I used snipping tool, hope it works ok. Nice video phazer 11. I'm sure a lot of CCleaner users will luv this. I wonder if you might be able to put a snap shot of what "task manager min. services running" at startup would look like? Or maybe even a snap shot of 'msconfig' startup, and services tab to show users what the minimum number of programs should be at windows 7 start up. I used to hear a lot about too many background programs running can make Elderscrolls games unstable. this is alittle off topic. Sorry, but I thought since I have your attention I would ask. Oh Oh!!! I'm not sure how to attach the ccleaner snippit ???????

Thanks for the reply Z. So can i assume this is not a normal windows 7 64bit start up?
-
Hey all!   I was just wondering why when my computer boots does the desktop appears then all the icons turn white and slowly one by one they reappear as normal? This seems a waste of time.
-
If you call it 1.7.0a will it still interpret it as an alpha?
-
Im not sure how to create a batch file. Is there somewhere in the wiki that explains this?
-
I don't know if there would be any technical difficulties but as a new user of Modorganizer. this sound great. Videos and STEP by STEP instructions are always the best way to go.

By Nightmarecast. MO hangs on startup when the load order is locked.
bitdman replied to wolverine2710's question in Mod Organizer Support
If you are intending to add more mods to a game that already runs well, one might want to lock the present load order so that nothing can change it. But with BOSS controlling the load order I don't see why anyone would want to worry about it. -
This is GREAT news! Way to go techangel85. I've used WB for many years, but you have given me a good reason to switch to MO. I'm looking forward to getting started on setting up for mod testing:dance:

Bluish white body on player character
bitdman replied to bitdman's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I think I found what went wrong. I forgot to check the behave settings in DDSopt. They were wrong! Shame on me...operator error. Thanks for the replies. -
Bluish white body on player character
bitdman replied to bitdman's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I used DDSopt to unpack the BSA for race menu, but did not optimize anything. I've reinstalled racemenu leaving the BSA this time. But no difference. Why would this just affect the player character? I'll uninstall mods and check what happens. thanks for replying. It doesn't look like missing textures. It's looks just like EisDrache shots in the post here https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=3184 -
Guys I'm at a loss. When I engage or start the game using SKSE 1.6.16 my playable characters body turns blueish white. Not the face, just the rest of the body. It's ok without SKSE though. I don't understand. Any ideas other than complete re install?
