  1. As I understand it the more mod installers or mod managers you use the bigger the mess you.re going to have in the end. Wrye Bash is old school modding. NMM is new but hard to understand what it does exactly and Mod Organizer seems like an answer to all the problems but died before it's time. Learn one system well at a time then see what you can do with mods in general.Based on what you know about all three.
  2. Try re-installing Wrye... The registry path is not the same.
  3. Thank you for the input. I'm not sure what you mean by " If a stop gap, you'd want to upgrade your RX 480 ". and, Yes I have a new Sony Bravia 4K flat screen. If I understand both replies it sounds like upgrading this machine can be a good idea for now.
  4. Hey all! Here is a dxdiag and system info. attachments for the games I play. Any suggestions on how to upgrade this. Or should I build a new one? Cost is not an issue. I would just like to play ultra high graphics as smoothly as possible. and I don't want to take the time to research the parts I hope you guys can help. Thanks DxDiag.txt Sys. info Document.rtf
  5. When I run xedit (Fallout 4 Edit) Should the fallout 4 ESM and the DLC's box be checked? I ask because some are and some aren't by default and I run this after LOOT whenever I add another mod.
  6. Great replies guys. Good information I must have missed. Things keep changing. But now I know where to look
  7. When I install Fallout 4 mods with 'Mod O2' v2.0.7 These DLC's won't activate without manual activation and get de-activated randomly and I'm not sure why.....( DLC Workshop 1,2, and 3 ) So I am installing 2.0.8.2 to try it. The FO4 DLC's seem to have a problem with remaining in proper LO. This problem causes load order problems from the very beginning. If I did not have this problem or knew how to correct it I could continue modding the game. I tried following Kesta's guide and except for this constant glitch I would have a very nice looking FO4 game. Is this problem familiar? Should I keep banging my head on the table, or does someone have an idea that might help the situation? Thanks! LOOT seems to be able to order the DLC's but xEdit can't find the plugins.txt or ini files created at first run.
  8. I don't understand the "VRAM limit". For years I've seen this topic discussed and the bottom line is always a"Windows issue", or a "game engine" limitation. This sounds a lot like the situation with the Script extender 64. in that it's a problem that very few understand and are able to fix. To think that something can't or will not be be fixed is like building a ship when all you can get is trolling motor to propel it. Why are these limitations so hard to understand or fix? Or is it being dealt with in baby STEPs :) to keep upgrades and money flowing in? Is it being deliberately and methodically dealt with? I'm not suggesting a conspiracy......It's just that??????
  9. I've actually sprained my wrist trying to get over some of those. And then I play Tomb Raider and Lara scales them like a true Dovahkiin ..... What an embarrassment.
  10. Thank God it was Nexus that got you and not Bethesda

  14. Short answer!..yes but now I can't seem to get LOOT to work.
  15. Starting a fresh install, no beta, FO4Edit, LOOT v294 works fine. F4SE works outside of MO but gives me the old "a component of fallout4 script extender has stopped working" any Ideas what's going on now? anyone else having this issue? No mods are installed. thanks
  16. What does the cutom control map do? Sorry about changing the subject guys
  17. Fallout 4 is on sale at steam %33 off = $40 USA
  18. How much of Mod Organizer 2 works or can be used for FO4? Are you able to launch with F4SE thru MO2a4 and does it matter if MO2a4 closes when the game is activated because there isn't a box to check anymore. Are you able to use the download option yet?
  19. Hey SparrowPrince A graphics card shouldn't be too expensive to ship....I have a ATI HD5870 I could send you before I give it away. check it out and see if it will be enough for your friends PC. These are long cards so check carefully to make sure it will fit in the case

  22. Hey all I"ve I'm sorry if I'm breaking a rule by posting this, my intentions are to help someone get a good and inexpensive start to building their own computers. That being said. After 15 years of building and upgrading I have accumulated a lot of stuff. I'm not going to build anymore desktops and will gladly ship all this stuff to anyone that is willing to pay the shipping fee. I don't want to throw perfectly good AMD graphics cards and a Tower,a couple of motherboards ,and memory sticks, fans, etc. etc. to the recycler. anyone interested send me a message and we'll work something out name: Richard
