  1. Finally added a simple guide to installing Steam Workshop mods on the Installing Mods tab.
  2. You might have to expand it at bottom left.
  3. Hmmm... everything except the one registry dword is there. I'm going to instruct you to manually add that dword. It will remove the error from MO, but if running the NCC installer fails for whatever reason, than there's got to more to it. 1. Right-click on v3.5 2. Choose New > DWORD (32-bit) value 3. Name it Install4. Double-click your new Install DWORD and change the Value data to 15. Click OK 6. Restart Mod Organizer and attempt to install SkyUI. If the installer fails/works/whatever, report back.
  4. Disabling Skyrim Flora Overhaul and HRDLC will not harm the patches.
  5. For me I have it on with neither of the http options checked. What does HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeMicrosoftNET Framework SetupNDPv3.5 look like in your registry?
  6. Brumbek is already a member. He merely hasn't been active here since almost a year now.
  7. Not if you backup your profile and load order via the new backup buttons in 1.2.9
  8. Been awhile since I was on Windows 7. You might need to turn it on by going to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Features On and Off > .NET framework 3.5.
  9. If you are replacing your HDD with an SSD, simply copy the entire ModOrganizer folder to back it up. If buying an SSD in addition to your HDD, simply move Skyrim to your SSD (there's instructions here somewhere, but I forget where) and then move Mod Organizer along with it, redirecting downloads onto your HDD to save space on your SSD.
  10. Yes, although I think Wrye Bash adds those automatically, since the tag listings are in the plugin's description.
  11. Perhaps you don't have a form of Archive Invalidation turned on, and the vanilla BSAs are overwriting the loose files. Go to Workarounds in Settings and click Back-Date BSAs button.
  12. @Tannin Doesn't the portion of Nexus Mod Manager we use require .Net 4? I was pretty sure when compiling it that it required 4. If it indeed needs .Net 3.5 to work, than I need to change that on the wiki guide as well. @Frejoh466 Actually, Skyrim includes the .NET 3.5 redistributable when you install it on Steam, so how you do not have it is beyond me. At any rate, navigate to your Skyrim folder and locate the DotNetFX folder. Inside there is the dotnetfx35setup.exe. Make sure you run it as administrator.
  13. Discussion topic: Template:Video Template:RelatedVideos
  14. Added an extensive How to use this guide tab to illustrate the innovative features implemented to help quickly find the information desired. Check it out!
  15. Currently not, and implementing such a feature would prove problematic, because many mods exist that actually place optional esps in an optional esps folder. You'll have to use your memory, or do what I do: write a note about this in the notes tab for the mod, so I have a visual indicator. BTW, this is noted on the Profiles tab of the wiki in things profiles do NOT control. https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:Mod_Organizer#tab=Profiles_2
  16. I really should learn TES5Edit scripting then.
  17. Always can use more TES5Edit scripts. I wish we could replace Wrye Bash with a TES5Edit script. Or even some of the SkyProccers.
  18. I forgot to look at the Mod Organizer sourcecode for the identification mechanism of dotNet, so I directed you to the wrong registry location. In doing so, I discovered that it looks like it is actually seems to be looking for version 3.5, even though it is linking to version 4. I know it requires 4, so I wonder if the warning message isn't outdated. So go install version 3.5 (I think the link is here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21) and see if that doesn't fix it.
  19. I personally prefer the desaturated version.
  20. Come Together and Out of the Way (in STEP) I believe has this option.
  21. From reading a little more, I rather doubt that that is what is causing the issue, even if it be an issue. You could remove it in TES5Edit, although I can't guarantee it won't break something. (I just got my wisdom teeth out, so I might be a little loupy).
  22. I normally call these the side effects of being Dragonborn... a little extra Fus Ro Dah action...
  23. Press Winkey+R Type regedit Hit enter Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREWow6432NodeMicrosoft.NETFramework Post a screenshot, expanding the v4.0.30319 one if possible.
  24. I'm thinking we should leave that up to the users, because of ENB, etc.
  25. From the looks of the plugin, all you should need to do is remove the Null Reference. It is merely a condition, so a null condition should effectively do nothing, so removing the null condition should fix that. Probably he intended to add a condition for it to run, and forgot it. Should just run more often then.
