  1. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50954/? I think this is a small but nice little addition to immersion! Wonder if this plays nice with RRR but I guess there shouldn't be an issue.
  2. How long were your loading times before ssme/enboost? Depending on your system specs the loading screen might take quite a while. Especially the speed of your HDD matters a lot if you use a lot of mods and the virtual drive of MO. With my SDD for exampel the loading never takes more than 5 seconds, even though the rest of my systems is ratehr mediocre (see signature).
  3. 1. Load times are reportedly longer since the Memory patch for some users, though I haven't experienced it myself. I wouldn't worry about it too much. How long (in seconds) are your loadscreens? 3. Do you have UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true in enblocal.ini?
  4. Well SIC does many of the things ASIS does... In a much more sophisticated and configurable fashion. Random spanws, random cell respawner, NPCs use potions, have different/unique spells etc. I'd personally do away with ASIS and use SIC instead. Moreover SIC is generally found to be stable while ASIS has/had been known to cause issues.Â
  5. There is now quite an informative page at the SIC website about HLE integration (not compatibility, integration!), for those interested: https://sites.google.com/site/immersivecreatures/hle---sic-edition
  6. I missed this mod too! Wth lol :P
  7. I figured out the isue with Webs Extended. At the description page it says you cannot use the ELFX enhancer. It WILL cause the dark invisible/dark webs issue. However I wasn't using the Enhancer. RealVision ENB option B was catered for ELFX + Enhancer but I didn't use it for this specific reason. Then a few weeks later I decided to give ELE a go. Didn't think about the Enhancer warning from Webs E anymore. However ELE is somehow similar to the Enhancer and it causes the webs to go dark/extremely light blue color. I tested with particle patch on and off and it made no difference. TL:DR: Don't use a mod which removes/darkens the imagespace lighting if you want to keep getting all the Wbes Extended webs. Personally I still continued using ELE (cause its awesome) and just learned to live with have about 30% of the webs invisible... Not like many of them are in the overall pathways anyways.
  8. Used it before. Although a bit of a niche mod, it is extremely well done and fits right in with the story that Karliah is going to live there. Who would ever live in a damp, dark, empty dungeon-like space? The mod makes total sense. Thx for the update kryp!
  9. Thx statmonster... Would like to note however that we all got Nexus mod tracking, no offense :P
  10. Hmm, weird. I literally just finished riding from Whiterun to Dawnstar and back and didn't encounter any problem. Maybe your problem was a one time occurence? I mean I did just get stuck in the middle of a Riften to whiterun ride a few tries ago, at that necromancer's fort near darkwater crossing, despite there not being any mod on my list that affects that area. Count of stuff ran over during testing so far : 31 people (one dead), 9 wolves (2 dead), 3 elks, 1 deer, 1 fox, 3 chickens (all crushed),1 goat and 1 skeever (went flying off a cliff) Touring Carriages isn't the most eco friendly way to travel if you ask me. On the bright side, I didn't encounter a single issue other than the one with the fort I've mentioned before and the solitude one. Yeah the issue was reproducable on my system but not on the admins'. ETaC just removes a lot of navmeshes around Dawnstar and so I still think that was the issue but have no idea why it has been a problem on my install. Either way, this is something I'll look at again in the future. Also TC just got updated a few times during last days so who knows maybe it's complete gone now :) Thx for trying out the ride to Dawnstar CJ123 That said, TC will always have small random issues along most routes. They may not occur every time you take a ride. I think this whole mod was a very hard thing to make and so I am very happy all the great work wasite put into it. Running over npcs and animals is unavoidable however. This is because TC is almost entirely based on vanilla assets (riding carriages was an unfifnished project of bethesda, I think even a bethesda dev used to work on Scenic Carriages, the predeccesor to TC). Oh yeah, by the way Aurora Village is designed to be 100% compatible with TC. EDIT: have you already made a pack on the Wiki? Thinking about it, I would actually like to offer you to co-develop this pack! For a long time I've been meaning to to do something like this, and it's time to bring out a definite working and compatible pack for ourselves and the community. I do believe that there will be great public interest in a pack like this as well so that the effort put into it will surely not be in vain. I should probably update the VEGA pack first but I lost interest in that recently.
  11. Yep this has confused me for long (and I've actually reported it some time ago) as well. In the end, I just went with DXTx for everything and have not encountered an issue so far. There's a bit more quality loss on the few _msn.dds textures that are in the game, but if you use any body mod then it doesn't matter anyways.Â
  12. This is after copying the XNAM - relation record from 0001BCC0 and then going to 4201AE24, adding a new XNAM record as instructed. EDIT: just saw your last post Neo, sounds serious. All the best! Allright after scouring the internet I found someone with a similar issue in FNVedit. Someone else's response was: Neo should we add the alternate start esp as a master to OBIS.esp? I somehow can't figure out how to do do this specific conflict resolution, even though by now I'd say I've become pretty decent with tes5edit... Meh :(
  13. Happy to seeyou take into account other people's comments. As for TC, I recently had a navmesh issue with Dawnstar of ETaC. The end of the cart ride would get me stuck on the cart. Not everyone has had this issue. One of the admins was nice enough to make me a patch. heven't tried it yet though... You can download it here and see. https://www.mediafire.com/download/j04oulmal87s90p/ETaC%20Touring%20Carriages%20Patch.esp
  14. Great looking pack so far. Was actually talking about doing something like this in the future with DoYouEvenModBro, but glad you're taking the work out of my/our hands :P I've actually played with most of those mods in a recent playthrough. WOuld like to recommend one of the most fitting mods that add a new place and NPCs to Skyrim, in my opinion: Aurora Village. Whiterun Outskirts Market is also worth considering. You need this updated patch for it to work without CTDs though. Winterhold Destruction Ruins is also fantastic. The author of ETaC is currently doing Winterhold and she has announced that ETaC's Winterhold will be complementary to WDR. That said, I would personally not put in mods that add empty houses and no indoor clutter or NPCs. Immersive Settlements for instance has basically been in alpha stage for like 4-5 months and the author is mostly absent. If anything, ETaC is going to cover all cities and most villages eventually - though missjennabee usually finished a city/village update approximatel once every 3 months or so. ETaC, Immersive Settlement and other exterior additions are very performance heavy even on medium-high systems especially when combined with mod compilations as STEP Core or SRLE. Yu must have a good system or few texture mods if you still run 60fps with ETaC in Falkreath :) Just some suggestions and tips. Everything's your choice in the end (of course :P).Â
  15. Just saw I made a post here related to srle... lolz :D
  16. Did you update VL? Tehere was a reproducable CTD a couple ddays ago which got fixed in the newest update (which kept the same version number so make sure you got the latest one).
  17. What EssArrBee said is correct. Keep in mind though that you are most likely unpacking BSAs, as that is the instruction of SRLE, so you won't see the IA BSA in the list. In other words, just remove the esp and there will be no issue at all :P
  18. When doing conflict resoltuion for: XX01AE24 OBISFaction, I get a  TES5edit error saying: This is after copying the XNAM - relation record from 0001BCC0 and then going to 4201AE24, adding a new XNAM record as instructed. EDIT: just saw your last post Neo, sounds serious. All the best!
  19. Indeed. I'd leave it like that. You could expirement with the beauty of skyrim but for compatibility's sake (with the texture of norrmssmfloorraised*.nif) you will probably want to keep the beauty of skyrim's meshes. As for ultimate DH torch, equip a torch and try it out with the elfx mesh and then again with the uhd torch mesh. See which one you prefer :)
  20. Probably after section F. You will want ELFX to overwrite SMIM. CoT shouldn't have any file conflicts so doesn't matter where you put it. As for RealVision ENB, put it before section F in your install order. If you are using the manual install of RVENB, then also download the particle patch and subsurface scattering optionals and put them in the same position. edit: after installing, check which file conflicts remain. ELFX doesnt neceessarily have to win every conflict.
  21. SkyRe can be pretty difficult the first 10 levels or so. Make sure you read some parts of the SkyRe PDF manual :)
  22. The difference with vanilla is huge. I'm too lazy to upload pics atm :P
  23. Nobody else getting invisible webs? I tried with and without the ENB patch of Webs Extended but it makes no difference. Judging from the author's comment page I am not the only one with this issue. WEB extended overwrites all other files in conflict.Â
  24. Ah it was SUM, that explains why everything still loaded succesfully in tes5edit :) Have fun playing the game :P
  25. Yeah you should install all of the Core mods. Mod compatibility, general game stability and overall balanced looks is dependent on installing all the core mods. The packs are completely optional. As a new user, I'd first install STEP (which is no small feat for the 1st time), play the game and make sure everything is workign as it is supposed to. Only then start thinking about packs tbh. There's a lot to learn :) Does your computer have 24GB Ram and 1GB Vram? Seems like quite a big difference :P Your modding limits are (these days) largely dependent on your VRAM limits. I hate to break it to you, but 1GB should be barely enough for STEP performance version. It's likely going to be a tight fit, but if you follow the Core (performance options when possible) directions I'm sure you can squeeze it in.Â
