  1. I found EFF to be generally more compatible with mods. best part of the EFF (latest beta) is the ability to show health/magic/stamina values in an on-screen display. Anyways, to each his own. Also, get on the steam chat CJ!
  2. Yep the beta is perfectly stable and won't break your save. In fact a release version of EFF should be out soon, with just some minor changes. I don't know about translated versions of mods and how they work with the reproccer tbh. If I had to guess, I think your mother tongue is French (sorry if I'm wrong) so try to find something with that as keyword on the forum thread of the Skyre, Reprocer or any of the compatiblity patch mods comment sections at the Nexus.
  3. Don't use the old guide, it is largely outdated by now. Use SRLE exclusively. SRLE has instructions for the esps you mentioned. I am not sure, but I believe you must install FNIS as a regular mod in MO. It appears you are running it from a another location (download).Â
  4. @varrgas: EFF (beta) >>>>>>>>> AFT. Point made :) @Blackice: Yes that should be no issues. YOu are strongly recommended to use the STEP Core patch. Beware that you have some SkyRe conflicts to fix. If you dont they prob wont cause CTDs (dont take my word for it thouh) but you may see inconsistencies in your playthrough. When installing SIC, do check the compatiblity option in the installer for RotE. After that, you gonna have to to open tes5edit and check for SIC-HLE-RotE-SkyRe conflicts
  5. If you haven't solved it yet, please post a screensot of your BUM settings for that mod so we can easier determine where things go wrong.
  6. It's a red text :P It's in the bottom left part of the left pane... It's in your picture :)
  7. Finally they have discovered a mathematical description for computer animations of 3D hair! https://www.redorbit.com/news/technology/1113070702/curly-hair-physics-3d-model-mit-021314/ Looks promising. Who's gonna make this into a Skyrim mod? :P
  8. Als make sure that the ini of SPERG overwrite the ini of the uncapperÂ
  9. Do you mind if we use these instructions in our Explorer's Guide pack? Or perhaps even better, can they be added by someone to the DDSopt wiki? Would make sense to put it there. By the way, it needs an additional line stating that the .bsa and .esp should be removed from the overwrite folder after the install :)
  10. Hi Crimson13, I agree with you regarding the integration of this mod into this pack (I'm currently installing WALL over other packs :)). alkira. WALL has never evolved into more than a list of mods though... Compatibility probably won't be too much of an issue, but you should be aware that nothing has been tested.
  11. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51069/? Checked it in-game. Looks like a natural addition! Not much to say really... Simple mod. Â
  12. The ESP of the normal version is just a dummy to activate the .bsa, I think.Â
  13. There's no problem with Steam Workshop mods - other than that most of them are low quality :P Subscribe to a mod, then open the Skyrim Launcher via MO. It will download the steam workshop files to your MO Overwrite folder. From there you have to copy them into a mod install folder - and unpack the .bsa if you wish to do that.
  14. Perkus Maximus is still many months away from release though. On another note, Apocalypse Spell Package is now compatible with Skyre, Requiem and SPERG so you can now have perk overhaul + balanced magic with this addon. The easiest combination to install with SRLE is SPERG + Apocalypse, for those wanting to try something like this.
  15. Would it be possible to add in more font size options? The regular size is just a little too small in my opninion while the big size is... too big.
  16. When I installed this mod and saw it in game... I knew I'd never let go of it :) Simply beautiful with ENB.
  17. It is needed when you use the Enhancer or ELE.Â
  18. Isoku:
  19. Yeah I know. I actually did that at first but then decided to try out DXtx. Honestly when I look at the individual normals then I notice the qualtiy difference between R5G6B5 and DXTx, but when playing the game I don't. Also capping the textures to 2K caused a slightly noticeable seam between body and head, I suspect this is because the body is orignally a 4k texture and reducing it to 2k causes the edges to go a bit rough. The 4k body texture is already provided in DXTx format. I'm not really a DDSopt expert though... I'm sure DDSopting this mod texture-by-texture will lead to very little quality loss and major vram reductions. Just saying that this mod is a much bigger texture addition than what it appears to be at first glance... It's more like an ultra-resolution pack.
  20. It is a great mod and I use it. Now, I might be nitpicking here but I think the uncompressed textures add too much extra VRAM usage. The texture folder (unpacked) is worth 364MB and most of the head msn's are 22MB (!)each in size. Now compare that to STEP-DDSopted size of 683 KB (at high ddsopt settings from the guide). Yes the detail is a major major improvement but does it justify THAT much extra VRAM? Imagine a common city or village scene where not only nord male faces & body's, but also e.g. an Argonian, Dark Elf, Orc male, Red guard male, Imperial male etc. are loaded. You will be easily be adding 100-150mb vram at minimum to your average village scene and 150-300mb vram to cities. I speak from experience with this mod with SRLE and it was the cause of significant stutter on my system (see signature) because it meant going from 1800mb vram in cities to being capped at 2gb (resulting in more dynamic switching etc etc). In the end I DDSopted all the _msn.dds to DXTx (8192x8192) and I abrely notice the difference. I compared the DDSopted versions with the orignals via the previewer in Mo and the difference is rather minimal if you ask me. There's one texture which doesnt like being DDSopted but I forgot which one it is (can look it up if you want). Just want to say: This mod has potential to add a lot of VRAM use to STEP setups. Not sure if this has been sufficiently taken into account.Â
  21. Not sure if you're not aware or just trolling tbh... You have SFO regular which is one of the most performance itnensive mods (if not, THE most) available. WATER, SMIM... And you add a ton of NPCs through mods as well as a very large amounts of scripts which I think not even the most experienced modders with super systems here run at the same time. We're trying to determine your problem and your rig is just not up to par to run a mods list like this. Probably not what you want to hear at all but this is the way I see it.
  22. Was about to make a thread for this one as well, beat me to it haha :P This mod I've actually used when it came out but when I removed an old modlist I somehow forgot to put it back in. Great mod and configurable to your personal liking!
  23. The 9800GT is most likely not powerful enough for that kind of modlist. Same with the E8400.Â
