This is a retexture of the two dartwings.  I realize this may be considered too small to make it onto the STEP guide, but I wanted to at least make more people aware of this mod.

 

The current textures that STEP uses for the dartwings are from Bellyaches Animal and Creature Pack.  While Bellyache's are good textures, I feel that High-Res Dartwing Texture are a further improvement.  Neither mod changes the mesh, but the design used by this author helps to hide some of the sharp points and angles in the mesh, making the shape look much better in my opinion.

 

This is also the texture I'll be recommending to compliment Complete Alchemy & Crafting Overhaul's new dragonflies.

I have this mod installed. The textures are awesome.

There might be a larger mod including completely new meshes in the works though, from the author of True Elk (unless I'm mistaken).

I'm not sure he's planning to do anything with the dragonflies (not that I know of anyway).

I talked with him once, and he said he'd consider asking for a permission to use these textures if he decides to do the meshes.

Sound good then.   Wiseman's Critter Fixes includes an improved mesh for the dragonflies.

How far away is the alchemy release while we're at it, Kryptopyr? I'm about to start a new game and I was gonna use the beta version, but not if you're about to bust out a new release soon. :)

Well, I've been aiming for end of April or beginning of May, but I may have been overly optimistic when I said that.  But I've been making good progress with it, so we'll see.

Another mod alongside Lepidoptera of Skyrim to replace 101Bugs if CACO is approved. Recommended by Kryptopyr for use alongside CACO.

 

I have been using this since I installed CACO, and Dartwings have never looked better.
