DCInteriors A Room With A View (by Chucksteel)

Brand new mod by Chucksteel.  Similar to his NV Lucky 38 mod where you can see the world space around you, this mod adds a new player house in the bridge of Rivet City.  Unlocking it is tied to a quest (not entirely sure how, I just consoled myself the key to test it).  It looks great, and apparently takes into account the mods you use, as I could see Vurt's trees.  Better yet, it is 99% compilable with Rivet City Realignment.  There is some z-fighting from overlapping floors where this mod places doors, but they shouldn't be too difficult to remove in a patch which can be merged with this.  It should be loaded before Rivet City Realignment.

Also, being the first person to download a Chucksteel mod makes be feel kinda giddy haha.

I must admit that does look pretty good.

You can never have too many player homes to stash your collected crap. :)

Chucksteel is awesome. He did the same thing to the Presidential Suite Benny gives you in FNV. It was really well done. I think the mod even had the same name.

Yea it does have the same name.  Apparently he is going to start releasing some more mods now that he is taking a break from TTW.  I know he is working on a Novac hotel room redone, along with two others that each have transparent windows and built into the world space like the two "With a View" mods so far.  I'm excited.

EDIT: here is the Novac one https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/images/88106/?

If it's the motel room that'll be good. Hopefully he doesn't mod the closed bungalow cause that'll mess with Willow.

I'm not quite sure on the shack location.  However if he does, I'll try and make a patch for it.  I'm ok with world/cell changes, and made one for this Rivet City home.

This mod can't be installed in a game that has progressed very far. If the "Those!" quest has be completed, or if any of the "Drunken Gnomes" (from DC Interiors) have been found the Nexus page says the mod won't work properly. It also changes the main player home (Megaton or Tenpenny) a little; the guide doesn't have mods that do this but users might have added mods that make such changes.

I also noticed it replaces some of the textures from DC Interiors with higher quality versions.

Looking at the edits, it seems he adds the gnome stands to Megaton and Tenpenny.  He moves a couple things around for it too.

      Hey guys,
Decided to redo my LODS yesterday, basically wanted them in a higher res. So i opened Texgen and i got this error. I was using it last week and there was no problem with it.
Does anyone know how i can fix this error?
Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

      Kind Regards,

I noticed we don't have a mod brainstroming mega thread for people to dump and discuss any cool ideas they have but have no interest in producing and/or ability to do so.

Sort of a no bad ideas thing.

      I thought I'd get started.

In researching other stuff, I noticed that Skyrim dumps (quite literally) the dead bodies.

It might be a cool mod to create a set of realms of the dead (headed by the various gods and daedra) where you could be sent on some unique missions.  NPCs would be sent to a realm when they die selected based on their alignment and race.  They would be revived as a specter there.  (Warewolves go to the hunting grounds, Nords (both genetic and cultural) go to Sovengard, etc).

I already have Vortex overiding whatever conflicts come up so I don't need Wrye Bash to do that at all. All I need to do is a simple leveled list merge and I'm finding it difficult to follow the tutorials and guides I'm seeing on Youtube and other places. I can't find one tutorial that's specifically for just merging leveled lists. I wanted to be as safe as possible and just bash together the leveled lists and nothing else.
I managed to get a bash patch up with a new game with the simplest tutorial I could find, but I feel like I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.
I have one made now and it looks like it's working, but can anyone give me just simple step by step guide just a safe bashed patch for just leveled lists. I removed USSEP and anything vanilla from the patch. Was I supposed to just leave those things in? If so do I bash it again and continue playing or do I start a new game?
