Kelmych Posted December 18, 2016 Posted December 18, 2016 Thanks! I hadn't gotten all of them previously.
Mator Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 So I tried to get into my ubisoft account to claim the games. I reset my password and it still wouldn't let me log in. So I reset my password again, and it still didn't work. So I created a new account, and successfully claimed the bundle. Then the link to download the UPlay client wasn't working, so I disabled Ghostery and uBlock and reloaded the page. It still didn't work, so I copied the link and opened it in a new tab. It installed, and then I couldn't sign in to the new account I created, and after 3 login attempts they said my account has been suspended. Wow Ubisoft. Get your **** together. I got the games... I think. But there's no way I'm going to spend more time wrestling with their shitty software...

Razorsedge877 Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 great I just bought Mass effect 2 from them a few days ago. I can't wait for the new game
Nozzer66 Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Never say no to a freebie. Especially a good freebie like that one. Got it.
Neovalen Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 Too bad all the Mass Effect DLC is behind a massive paywall.
Kelmych Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 That's been my major complaint with Mass Effect 1 and 2, at least on the PC. The DLC still costs a lot more than the original price of the game. I doubt I will get the new ME game because of this (and the issues with the ME3 ending)
Nozzer66 Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 True, but I've played all the DLC on the PS version, so it's cool. I just like the main game and have never had it on PC, so why not. :)
Kelmych Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 My comments were only about the PC version; I don't know how the DLC is handled for the console versions.
Nozzer66 Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) All good Kelmych. Was referring more to Neo's comment Edited January 6, 2017 by Nozzer66
Neovalen Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 I personally liked the Mass Effect (1) game. I played both of the DLC for that as well.. but I got ME2 and ME3 and found the huge paywall and thus never played it because of that. I hear the DLC is damn near required for a full experience.
Nozzer66 Posted January 6, 2017 Posted January 6, 2017 (edited) ME2 yeah it is. Still I'll worry about that later. Just didn't want to pass up a freebie. :) Edited January 6, 2017 by Nozzer66
Neovalen Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 ME2 yeah it is. Still I'll worry about that later. Just didn't want to pass up a freebie. :)No worries man, I'm just bitter at Bioware. There is similar issues with all their old games... base game $15... DLC for 5 year old game $80.
GrantSP Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Has anyone actually succeeded in getting past the login screen for this? I keep getting a "Sign in is currently unavailable. Please try again later.' message. I too have been wary of EA games but you can't pass up a freebie.
