Real Shelter - Full Release by Robinsage

 

This is the re-release of this mod I guess. It covers everything except Dragonborn. Lots of compatibility with other mods like CoT, RLO, ELFX, WATER, Frostfall, ....

 

I think this is an excellent mod that is a great idea. Pretty simple, shelter provides shelter from precipitation.

IDK, but lots of compatibility with other mods is already taken into consideration on the mod's page, so it looks good to me. We can assign a tester to look at it with both Core and Extended, then just go from there.

REGS pack/ ETaC would be incompatible for sure since it changes building positions. Shame, because ive been waiting for something like this

incompatible with CoT weather patch, weather changes when under shelter back to CoT default weather :( ah well. I'm currently using vanilla weather, but had to test it ;)

Sure, but RS author should make, I can't make... doubt he will since I modify a whole lot about CoT, SS, ESS...

Should be a somewhat simple matter to create a patch for this. Bit menial but oh well aint everything patch related! This ofc. assuming I understand the premise of how the mod works! :D 

 

Edit: Seems like I cant make the mod work at all atm. Once I figure that out then I can test out my patch prototype... Stupid script mods... how I hate you!

What are you trying to make a patch for? The CoT Weather Patch? Prod, since I use your Serenity ENB, which uses Vanilla Weathers and no CoT Files, I can use the non-CoT version of this with no issues, right?

What about shelters added by the upcoming STEP 2.2.9 mod: Cutting Room Floor?  Personally, I feel that if a couple shelters don't follow suit but most of them do it's still better than none of them.

I tested the non-CoT version (since I don't use it) and I'm getting a pretty hefty amount of papyrus spam concerning CoT errors even with a short test run. I did NOT crash, so it may be harmless, but the volume kinda concerns me. Apparently several others are getting it too, any papyrus gurus got insight?
