You mod list is stored in your modlist.txt document. This is found within your profile folder. If MO is used for instances, it'll be in AppData. If portable, it'll be wherever MO is installed.

Thank you for the response.  This I did know.  The text files do not show the mod list in the same state that it shows in the left column.  What I have been doing is hand typing the information from the left column in an excel document.  It would be much easier to be able to copy the column as it is.  But I do not think it exists.

Thanks anyway.

I have something that is really interesting occurring.    I thought I would mansion it because I don't know where to put it.

I use an exbox 360 controller to play through Mod Organizer.  When leaving the game and returning to the desk top the cursor continues to drift on the screen.  I have had this drifting happen in game when the controller starts to wear out but I have tried several different controllers including new ones so I doubt it is because of a faulty controller.  The thing is this only happens when playing through Mod Organizer. I do not have the same effect occur when playing other games like playing directly through Steam or Bethesda.

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they have found a cure?

Yeah, I think it is reversed. You can flip it easily using a data or word program.

Sorry, PC master race here. I only use a controller when developers fail to realize PC gamers don't have three hands to play with (looking at you Witcher and Assassins Creed ).

Anybody happen to know a quick way to change or add version numbers? A lot of the time the date I downloaded the file or something ends up as the version number, which of course MO doesn't like. So far around 70-80% of my mods do this. Or am I installing them wrong lol?

I've also noticed that a lot of "mod manager read" type mods will have a readme but not a package.txt, I'm not sure I've seen more than one or two of those. Any way to add readme.txt or readme.md to that function? Otherwise it's just an idea. I hate having to open the Nexus page or File Explorer while installing the mod, but modding in and of itself is tedious, so eh xD

This typically happens when you download mods outside of Mod Organizer. If you download through Mod Organizer, it fetches Metadata from Nexus. You can also get this Metadata by query info option in the downloads pane. Otherwise, you will only have version numbers from mods with a FOMOD installer.

Use "Download with mod manager" on Nexus (best if MO is open in the background), and be sure you have Nexus integration enabled under MO settings to have access to the Nexus API. If you download a mod from another source, you can still try to get metadata from Nexus if the mod is also on Nexus. If it isn't, you can modify the info in the mod's 'meta.ini' in the mod directory via Explorer. Also, you can right click a package in MO Downloads (right pane) when it has the triangle warning (no meta), and "Open meta file" for edit, or click "Query info".

No idea what you mean about "package.txt", but that's a question for MO devs via their Git repo > Issues.

The version number of an installed mod can be directly edited by double clicking in the version filed and typing in the desired number.

Like wise you can also ignore the update by right clicking and selecting Ignore update. Ignored updates will return red if you later on check for updates.

You can also change the version on the mods information tab by double clicking on the mod and selecting the Nexus tab.

What DoubleYou and z929669 said is also true. Download through the Nexus download links on the nexus page and MO2 will handle the rest, but it is up to the mod authors to keep the versions up to date on their pages.

This is also up to mod authors to include in mods. There is the Information tab as I mentioned before. There is also a notes tab where you can paste information you require.
