If you're using Loot, I'd recommend setting the 13 oranges mods priority lower than average, they should be considered as town mods when it comes to load order, not quest mods. For the layers, you can't fix them in T5E.

Alrighty, ill move the 13 oranges mods down. Cheers.

@MadWizard: I just got a PM from Gan: Also, if you clean the pitfighters esp, you'll not have the conflict in question.

This is worrisome. I know I cleaned the esp, as per the guide. Which means it reverted, or didnt save. This coupled with the post on nexus by the Moon and Stars author regarding the LOD issue being fixed by moving SDO after Moon and Stars (which didnt work for me), makes me suspect that somewhere along the line I rolled back my mod setup. No idea how. Im gonna have to double check my REGS install.

This is confusing, when you say moving down, I understand it as loading them later, which is not what I'm recommending :PThanks for making me check the post by the author about SDO btw, I'll add that in the guide.

Well not to be picky but we should not use "down" and "up". It is really confusing especially if you display the files from 0 to last or last to 0.

I suggest we use "early" and "late". Lot less confusing I think.

Good idea, ill try to make my brain memorize that.

Moving Moon and Star mod earlier than SDO has fixed the blue roof LOD issue.

Cleaning quest_pitfighter.esp also solved the minor minor conflict issue reported in tes5edit.

Definitely screwed up my REGS install at some point, thankfully was pretty minor. Now everything REGS related is fixed! Thanks everyone  ::):

Woohoo let's remake all the patches! :p

Why would I remake any patch? :o

This home/quest mod looks kind of interesting, havent tried it myself though:The Dark Lords Fortress

My suggestions list keeps growing, too many mods to test on my own :(

Nah, worse case scenario, there's the modular versions of ETaC so I can copy parts of those. But it's probably going to be a winterhold-only update next time.

Just grab the 3 ones that are listed in the guide, i.e.:

  • UniqueBorderGates-DunmethPass
  • UniqueBorderGates-TalosPass
  • Unique Border Gates - Silgrad Pass for More Immersive Dawnguard Entrance

There's only one of each on the download page, one is at v2.11, the two others are at v2.1.

Ok so I tested both versions.

Same ingame position for character, ugrid = 7

1) No MO modlist modifcation but SDO without Tamriel.Objects_n.dds & Tamriel.Objects.dds files

No more blue LOD but no details neither, so, many pop-in and micro-stutter for me.

Edit : No idea either for other impacts.

2) MO modlist modification, Moon before SDO

No more blue LOD ... as you can see. ;D

Massive pop-in and a half second stutter.

Once closer, no more issue, as expected.
